Ausar (Done) 5688-635247685

Name: Ausar (no family name)

Gender: Male

Age: 17

Weapon: N/A (Currently looking)

Love Interest: N/A

Appearance: Physique wise, Ausar looks very average. He stands at about 5'11 with a rather lanky build. He never found it necessary to develop bulging muscles, in his mind it would only slow him down. Despite his thin frame, the small amount of muscle mass covering his body is well chiseled and strong. Ausar lost his eyesight at a very young age when he escaped the witches laboratory. His colorful blue eyes were replaced with pale grey voids resting uselessly under his eyelids. Because of this Ausar will usually keep his eyes shut and his long bangs draped over his face. This may be because of his overall uncaring attitude, or he may just find no use for his eyes now. Because of this accident Ausars other senses increased dramatically, especially his hearing. You may sometimes see Ausar tap his foot or snap a few times. With these small sounds, Ausar has developed his own version of echolocation he uses to "see" the surrounding area. But with his improved hearing, he rarely needs to make his own noise to find his way around a foreign area. Ausar likes to keep his hair somewhat simple. His medium length, silky black hair falls to his neck, somewhat spiky at the tips. Even before the accident Ausar had trouble with his hair falling in his face. But now that he no longer needs to see, he will usually leave the hair be. Ausar will usually wear his black tattered kimono with a dark grey obi. He will also wear a maroon scarf like piece of cloth draped over his shoulders. This is mostly used just to distract the person he's fighting in addition to his agile fighting style.

Personality: Ausar is... well, apathetic to say the least. Even before the witches picked away at his soul, Ausar was a very emotionless child. Even calling him cold would be a stretch, he simply doesn't care about anything it would seem. He wouldn't even think of going out of his way for anything unless it was absolutely necessary. The only exception to this would be if a friend/teammate needed help, he knows all too well how important allies can be. Even in battle, Ausar seems to fight with no effort. He never shows happiness or sorrow, pity or malevolence, some people have even come to believe that Ausar feels no pain... Of course this rumor is far from the truth. Ausar simply treats his pain like any other emotion. He masks it from the outside world. This odd personality makes for an even stranger soul wavelength, or a lack of one that is. Well he still has a soul, but it has been heavily tampered with. This added to his naturally apathetic attitude has made his soul very grey and neutral.

History: Ausar was born In a small village in the Sahara Desert, but almost a month later A small group of witches destroyed the village. Still an infant, he somehow managed to survive the explosions. This small group of witches took me in and raised me in a large academy with other boys. The witches taught them anything from table manners to martial arts trying to sharpen the boys senses. We were told we were specially picked for a training course designed to create a "magically talented meister." Of course this claim of power clouded the boys minds. The boys would desperately work to gain favor of the witches, lusting over the potential power they saw at the end of the tunnel. But one by one the boys began to drop, Literally. The boys would work themselves to death hoping to acquire this new power, but slowly the ranks decreased until only Ausar remained. So Ausar obtained
this power? Not even close. Ausar was brought into an operation room with two other witches. As they tied him down to the bed, Ausar began to notice what they were truly planning. They were going to inject him with a massive amount of black blood. Of course he wouldn't let this happen. Ausar ripped himself from the operating table and instantly stabbed one of the witches with a nearby scalpel. The other witch was surprised of course, and accidentally sprayed the black blood from the syringe into his eyes. The instant burning sensation was terrible, Ausar could feel the black blood melting into his eyes and was completely helpless. But the other witch must have felt some sort of remorse because Ausar never saw her again. Ausar was lucky the more powerful witch fled the building, if not he would be dead. Only a tiny amount of the black blood actually made its way into his bloodstream, so the effects are minimal at best. Really the only difference Ausar has noticed was his overall agility and acrobatic ability has increased. But still those few drops would affect his soul more than anything. Unlike most black blood victims who become downright crazy, Ausars emotions seem to have completely disappeared. I wandered the desert blindly for a few years, eating only what he could get his hands on... The cacti were hard at first...  But anyways, after quite awhile walking and listening for faint noises to guide him, Ausar found himself able to "see" using his ears. It somewhat startled him at first, but he eventually learned to use this new found "ability". He finally made his way to civilization and was told of a place in North America called DWMA. A real school dedicated to training young weapons and meisters. Of course Ausar wouldn't let this opportunity pass him by, so he made his way to north america as quickly as he could.

Miscellaneous:
Nearsighted: Ausar uses sounds to find his way around, but sound can be distorted over a distance. Because of this far away sounds will often only paint a rudimentary picture of the area.

Landlubber: Ausar has no problems with bathing, but all in all Ausar really doesn't like water. This is partially because of how easily sound is distorted through water. It is almost impossible for Ausar to figure out where he is if fully submerged. It may also be because of the arid climate he was born in.

Martial artist: Ausar spent nearly the entirety of his young life training with the witches who raised him. Ausar isn't exactly a strong fellow, nothing to set the woods a'fire about. But he is incredibly light on his feet, making him a very acrobatic close range fighter
