Departure Day

Sitting outside Yami's hotel room, Ryth watched the sun rise waiting for him. He'd been in America before though, it didn't seem to fun with Death city there. He thought to himself if he should work on being a better person. It crossed his mind before but he didn't know how to do that when he was a kishin egg. A lot of voices wanted him to be a kishin and he didn't know if he could shake it, becoming a target wasent a good thing. Looking at the time he noticed it was 10 and decided to knock on the door.

Yami got up grogily, wearing onlu his jeans and his socks as someone knocked on the door. His spikes were a mess and his eyes seemed tired. His usual grin was replaced with a sleepy scowl. He opened the door, curious as to who it could be. Opening the door to fimd Ryth, he remembered inviting him to travel together. "Hey," He yawned, "Come in for a minute." He finished, opening the door wider and rubbing his eye.

Ryth grinned slightly, with a quick laugh. He then parted one of Yami's hairs out of his face. "Well aren't you just a morning person..." He said before walking inside and finding a place to sit down. "Whenever your ready we can head out... Are we walking to the airport or should I call a cab, Hm?" Waiting for his reply he fastener his suit tie.

Yami walked around the room, gathering his clothes. As his grin returned he replied to Ryth. "We'll walk. I don't like cars. Cops use cars." He slid on his yellow shirt, grabbing a hotel comb, fixing his spikes, then stuffing it into his pocket with his wallet. He slid on his jacket and turned to Ryth, waiting for a responce.

Standing up he nodded and parted his hair to one side. "Let's head out then, a good walk will give us time to talk." Talking as he headed for the door and held it open for Yami. "If you don't mind of course..." Letting him walk through and closing the door he looked out over the landscape a second before getting ready to head to the airport.

Yami headed out the door, leading Ryth down the street. "You wanted to talk about something?" He asked, stopping to look at a bakery. He realized he was hungry but staying at the hotel left him broke. Then it happened. That grin stretched across his face. The smile of a madman.

Following next to him he shrugged. "Just thought it'd be nice to have a chat since we're hanging out together..." As they stopped at the bakery, Ryth looked over at Yami. "Want me to buy us some food or do you have something else on your mind?" He asked wondering about the sudden smile on his face.

Yami looked to Ryth. "Why buy food? Just wlk in, grab what you want, and casually walk out the door." He said, as though it were a compleatly normal situation. Yami didn't use money for much. He'd take what he wanted and run. Usually that'd only be one or two things, leaving him off the most wanted list and out of the cop's targets.

Ryth sighed. "I was suggesting we buy so we don't have unneeded attention." Shrugging he stood next to the door waiting. "I have enough euro's but i'll leave it up to you whether we rob the place or buy something..." Standing he waited to see what Yami would say the course of action would be.

Yami settled down a bit. "I guess your right." He replied, turning to Ryth. "Not a big fan of atention eh?" He joked, heading inside. As much as he hated to admit it Ryth would be a good way to keep him in check.

Ryth shrugged. "Attention is something you don't want as a person with a soul like mine... That's why I mask my soul sometimes." He said walking through the door and holding it open. "Let's pick out something to eat and i'll pay ok?" Asking as he walked to the counter and looking at the food options.

Yami sighed, heading through the door. This guy didn't plan for a fight huh? Oh well, maybe they'd run into shibusen students somewhere in america. As of now, however, it was time to eat. Yami took a few things and set them aside on the counter. "So, you usually live around here?" He asked, curious about his new friend.

Ryth shrugged as he picked out food and payed the baker. "I do usually... but i'm more into traveling around." He went outside the bakery and pulled up a chair at a table as he started eating. "And what about you? I noticed you're a weapon, do you have a meister?" He asked curious to his backround.

Yami thought for a second before answering that. "Yeah, she's a witch. Lives back in America. I met her not long before leaving but I haven't spent much time with her." He then proceeded to eat a bit. It was actually kinda nice to be able to eat and not run from someone at the same time.

Ryth sat thinking for a moment about himself. "Must be interesting to work with a witch..." Taking another bite of his food he looked up at Yami. "So what are you doing in Europe? Was America getting a little boring or did you come for something else?" He asked trying not to be nosy but curious.
