Hunting a Witch

The doll cracks as easily as the first, crumpling at her feet. A larger spike shoots up, this one heavily barbed. Sylas jumps into the air, latching his axe blades into the ceiling. "Dammit!"

Sylas starts swing along the cieling, growing closer to the witch and dodging spikes where he can, though one spears him straight through his leg, the sound of it splitting his bone sounding through the leg. He screams loudly, almost falling onto the waiting bed of spikes.

Sylas grits his teeth. "I found her....I'm not giving up the hunt now..." Blood starts to stain his pants leg. "G-Get me up to the ceiling....I can get close and finish this..."

Sylas manages to launch from her, his arms latching onto the ceiling. He starts making his way towards the witch, letting Asuka take most of her aggression. He reaches a point just above her, though his left arm is speared as well, the attack narrowly missing the bone. He falls down towards her, cleanly slicing her. He falls to the ground next to her, just as she vanishes, leaving a soul with two cat-like ears.

Sylas smiles weakly, his arm starting to bleed as well. "T-Thanks for the compliment..." He rolls over, reaching for the soul with his good arm.

Sylas nods. "Y-You might want to stand back...I've heard that this can be pretty violent."

Sylas nods, slipping the soul down his throat. He groans at first, then shudders. Axe blades begin to sprout from forearms and legs, though when it happens from his injured arm and leg he screams. He stops after several moments, leaning limply against her.

He chuckles weakly. "H-Hospital would be nice....."

Sylas groans lightly. "I'm not gonna be doing much for a bit, are I?"

Sylas nods, then stumbles, falling out of her grip and to the ground, unconscious from blood loss.

Sylas awakes the next evening, looking groggily around his hospital room.
