Weapon Form: Duncan is an advanced mechanical arm. Duncan's arm form is that of a prosthetic limb, easily attaching to the nub of his Meister Jason's missing arm. Duncan's arm form is so technologically advanced that it can get a neural connection to Jason's brain through old nerve pathway in Jason's arm. Duncan's arm form can lift three hundred pounds of weight, making it very useful to clearing rubble or for jobs where large amounts of heavy lifting is required. The arm can also throw powerful punches, enough to dent plate of steel up to three inches thick. These punches operate through a hydraulic system, and after each of these punches, Duncan must wait ten seconds before unleashing another punch. The arm can also manifest a small glowing blue energy shield, this shield, while rather weak(only standing up to about three good attacks from a weapon) can be very useful at times. This shield, after being destroyed in a fight, typically takes about fifteen minutes to half an hour to recharge. The arm also has two functions located in the wrist area, one being a gas powered built-in grappling hook, and he other being a small blade mechanism, similar to the Hidden Blades from the Assassins Creed series.

Love Interest: None, but he is quite the flirt.

Appearance:
Duncan has been described many times as a very good looking individual. He stands quite tall at 6' 2", with a very muscular build. Duncan has sandy blonde hair, that is usually unkempt. Duncan has bright green eyes, that have been described as being full of energy and emotion. Duncan typically wears a grin on his face, and uses his hands a lot when he speaks. He walks a tad funny, however most suspect this is due to the small flak he usually carries around with him. Duncan typically dresses in t-shirts with the names of bands on them, he will also occasionally wear a black or red hoodie. He has a pair of Oakley sun glasses that he will wear from time to time, as well as a bandana.

Personality:
Duncan speaks with a British accent, and enjoys making fun of himself for it. Duncan, while not the smartest guy around, is exceedingly clever. He claims to know how 'people work' and is a very skilled trickster and manipulator. Most people question which side he's on, as he makes deals and alliances with members of both sides. While he is truly aligned with the good people of the DWMA, he claims, "There is no way to play except for playing dirty, mate." Duncan will also always claim to be in it for himself, most people do believe this. However, he only puts on that act due to the belief that if he were to show too much care for others, he'd be putting them in harms way of the enemies he and Jason fight. Duncan's personal philosophy is this(Which he totally didn't steal from Pirates of The Caribbean): "There are only two things that matter in life- What a man can do, and what he can not." He is incredibly confident in himself and his abilities, he believes he is up for any challenge. Why, you may ask? To this he'd say, "Because I'm Duncan Haverston, savvy?". Duncan speaks in a very old fashioned way, highly reminiscent of pirate speak, because he not only loves pirate films, but because it annoys Jason immensely. Duncan's relationship with Jason is a quite friendly one, however an incredible amount of teasing goes on. Duncan recognizes that Jason is the brains and he is the brawn, but that will not top him from making a suggestion from time to time. Speaking of recognizing Jason as the brains, Duncan is quick to learn other people's strengths and weaknesses in any regard, and quickly thinks of how he can use those weaknesses and strengths to his advantage. Duncan is the type of man to make friends with and help with as many people as he can, for the sole reason that he'll have many favors to call in when he needs them. Duncan tends to make quips and remarks during battle or during normal life, no matter how dumb they may be. He is a curious person, but knows when digging too deep into something will probably get him killed. He also knows when enough is enough. He has a particular affliction with fame, and enjoys being well-known. He also enjoys drinking alcohol, despite being under the legal age. He very much enjoys the company of women, and will openly flirt with almost anyone he finds attractive, sometimes even the bad guys("I know she's trying to blow our heads off mates, but just look at those eyes!").
-Likes: Women, booze, guns, money, pirates, action movies, himself, water, the open sea.
-Dislikes: Flying, science, reading, idiots.
-Fears: Duncan claim to have no fear, and will very rarely show any. He is afraid of rejection on a social level, and he fears death(Not the person, but, y'know, death.).

History:
The fantastic legend of Duncan Haverston began on a rainy night in London.
On that particular night, a particular man went to a particular pub, only to order a particular drink and sit at a particular seat. Each of these particulars were very important, had any one been altered slightly, had the man sat at a different place, had he ordered something else, had he gone to a different pub, Duncan Haverston would never have come into the world.
As it happened, the drink that the man ordered was out. So, he had to wait for a delivery truck that would be arriving within the hour. When the truck arrived, the delivery woman dropped off the stuff, and took her break, at her usual spot at the pub, directly across from where the man at.
As the two conversed, they began to become friends. They agreed to meet up later. That man was Lukas Haverston, Duncan's father and that woman was Marie Haverston(Marine Quartemanche at the time), Duncan's mother.
Several years later, the two married and had their child, Duncan, back in London. Duncan's parents both went on to become authors, each quitting their former professions. The pair wrote fiction books, each of which Duncan was forced to read cover to cover, this was very annoying for Duncan as he did not like reading.
It took several years for Duncan to realize he was a weapon. When Duncan was twelve, he and his parents took a walk through a rather questionable neighborhood in London, whereupon they were jumped. Duncan willed himself to try to help, at which point he turned into a mechanical arm, and hit the floor. Duncan parents and the mugger stared in bewilderment for a few moments, before the mugger swiped Duncan's mother's purse and got away. Shortly after he got away, Duncan transformed back to normal. His parents had a very long discussion about what they should do, and in the end it was decided he would be sent to the DWMA.
Most of what made Duncan the man/mechanical arm he is today occurred at the DWMA. He did not find a Meister for quite a long period, as not many could make use of a mechanical prosthetic limb. In his first few years at the DWMA, he started getting involved with the wrong crowds of people. The thugs, the bad kids, the out casts. During this time Duncan picked up many of his habits, including drinking. For a short period, he was semi-well known through the school as "The Pirate" or, "Cap'n Haverston" for a legendary raid on a alchohol store. For the entirety of the week after the heist he was drunk off of his ass, and spoke only in pirate speak. After his drunken stupor was over, he chose to keep it as, in his own words, "I fancy it. I shall keep it as my own!"
At age sixteen, he met his Meister, Jason Cregnix. He was quick to introduce himself to Jason, as he did to any other potential Meister with only one arm he could find. The pair grew close quickly, though neither of them quite knew what, something about their souls just 'clicked.'. The two have worked together for two years now, with Jason experimenting, and doing sciency things as he usually did, and Duncan showing him the world of staying up past curfew. Now they train at the DWMA, getting ready to take on missions!
