A new 'Witch' arrives (open)

ooc: this is a couple of days after the abduction

ic: Melody had finally made it to the DWMA, the place where her villages savior was from. And what she had heard was right! It was a place where you learned how to fight those monsters! And her Cursed Sight! It wasn't something to be ashamed of here. Melody started to smile, a slight tilt to her head as she went to explore the academy with a bounce to her step that caused her necklace to shift and jostle.

How many days had she spent skipping around the school? Aurora had lost count. It didn't really matter much to her right now, though. She was still trying to get over the trauma of the weapon abduction; neither her nor Johnathon had been apart of it, but seeing the injured, seeing all that had happened, had terrified her. Still, she was trying to make the most out of the world around her, and had donned a magenta plaid skirt under a white blouse, skipping around. The little witch-meister had gone ahead and registered for summer classes, as she had nowhere else to go, so she wasn't about to leave the DWMA anytime soon.

She was over by the mission board and the front of the school now, and could see someone coming up the steps. Her head tilted and she stopped before waving her arm high above her head in greeting. "Helloooooo~! Are you new?"

Melody was so entranced by the mere thought of exploring this unusual place that she almost didn't hear the young girl call out to her. Melody refocused her attention and caught the word "New?" She figured the girl had asked if she had just arrived, so Melody turned and gave a quick nod while heading to meet her. "Yeah! I had just registered and was about to go exploring! You new too?"

Carrie, as diligent as she could be sat alone in the hallways, examining the mission board. After a conversation with her brother, they had considered taking on a mission and he let her do the picking, (probably not the best idea.) and she got entirely distracted as she noticed Aurora going over to someone as she left the mission board. She was tempted to call her name but figured she probably might not hear her anyways. She promptly ran in her direction, jumping unto her back and hugging her tightly, while yelling her name. "Aurora!!" Hopefully she could support the weight of a tiny girl on her back.

Aurora was just about to answer the new girl when Carrie demanded a sudden piggy back. She burst into laughter as she toppled over, barely catching herself but smiling despite it; her knees hurt and were now scraped and bloodied, but it wasn't anything that she couldn't take care of. The witch meister lifted her head, waving at the newcomer once more. "Yeah, we both are!" She pointed her thumb at the girl on her back. "This is Carrie! We're roommates! We just got here a few weeks ago! Wanna explore with us?"

Melody grinned at the hyperactive display. "I'd love to. That was what I was about to do anyway." Her eyes started to go wide and her mouth form an o when she noticed Auroras knees. "Oh... here... let me" she reached into her billowing left sleeve pulling out a small container full of a simple salve for cuts and scrapes. Without waiting for an answer Melody started to apply it on Aurora

Carrie looked down at Melody over Aurora's shoulder, quite comfortable where she was to put into perspective. The new girl was rather intriguing to her, so close contact for a person she had only just met. But then she retracted her statement realizing that she too was very affectionate with Aurora the first time they met, even if if before then they had exchanged at least 7 sentences. She could see some of the blood as Melody took care of her, and frowned. "I'm sorry Aurora did I do that?"

The girl merely shrugged, sitting with her ankles crossed, thankful that she wore shorts under her skirts. "I'll be fine, it's just a little scrape." Aurora giggled. "I fall all the time." She reached a hand out to shake Melody's. "Thanks, and nice to meet you."

Melody pocketed the salve, and took Aurora's offered hand. "Nice t' meet you. M' name's Melody. Melody Lykkeblom." She looked over Aurora's shoulder at the new girl. "And t' you as well. Although you seem t' be a little young to attend here."

Carrie pouted and blushed more than a little embarrassed by Melody, this seemed to be a common accusation. Your short, your tiny, your young, your cute... It was kinda annoying to be frank. "I AM NOT YOUNG. I'm fourteen..."

Pyro walked down the hall as he headed towards his classroom. The sorcerer held a kaleidoscope in front of his left eye and looked around the halls. He always enjoyed looking through these toy's as a kid and it was mere coincidence that he was able to find one at this age. "I never get tired of these distortions." He muttered happily before noticing human like figure through the scope.

Aurora giggled, "Carrie is small for her size." She draped her arm across the girl's shoulders, pulling her close. "I'm Aurora Boyd. I'm a meister!" She smiled wide, "My partner is Johny....athon." Her face flushed and she looked down for a moment, shuffling her feet. "He doesn't like me calling him that..."

Melody stood back up, giving her necklace a quick rub for luck with the healing. "Don't know how he can deny a cute little thing like you." A quick little wink at Aurora before she started to skip up the steps. "So do you have the cursed sight? I do. It can be a little distracting, but I got used to it.

OOC// Sorry for not posting, I just realized that a few days ago I was flood with a couple hundred notifications and I couldn't be bother to weed through them because they were mostly related to Taken. My apologies.

Carrie was losing her grip, and just decided to let go her friend. "Cursed sight? What are you talking about?" This was the first she was hearing anything about a curse of some sort. (Ironic given her history). Carrie walked up to Melody, getting really close to her face to gaze into her eyes. "What cursed sight?"
