Homesick (Mature)

Sylas hooked the Do-not-disturb sign on the door handle before leading Dowan to the bed. He sat them both down on the edge of the bed, then laid them back. He looked deep into her eyes before shutting his, his soul reaching out to hers and begging for contact.

Dowan immediately responds, questioning his intentions.

They end up partly in his soul, partly in hers. His half, the once beautiful atrium with the glass ceiling and the shifting snow, lies in ruins. "I'm sorry...I-I haven't bothered to clean since....well, you know..."

"What's going on?" She asked, tracing his arm with her fingers lightly,

Sylas looks around. "I....I wanted us to be alone, and this was the only place where that could happen..."

"Alone?" She asked, smiling lightly. She places a light kiss on his lips.

He smiles. "I-If...that's what you want to do...We haven't really had time to talk...about what's been going on...about what happened..."

Dowan sighed. "You're right. I already miss him. I-I feel like I'm not an ounce of important." She leans her head on his shoulder.

The free snowfall condenses beneath them, forming a bench, and Sylas pulls her down to sit with him. "All I can feel is the need for revenge...All I want to do is kill Saca, over and over and over again, until it all feels better..."

Dowan puts their heads together, "And I want you to stay safe."

Sylas kisses her nose. "I want you to stay safe too...but I really want revenge. I want to be the one to finish him off..."

"How important was having a family to you?" She asked quietly.

He kisses her forehead. "I wanted one, but it's up to you...you have to have the kids..."

"I could see his beautiful face all the time. He'd have your hair and my eyes, and he'd have your quiet demeanor. He was beautiful." She muttered into his shirt, a few tears slipping

Sylas pulls her into a kiss, lifting her chin with one hand. He pulls back after a few seconds. "We can...always try again, if you want...I...I want you to forget this, or at least move on, and...I can't think of another way..."

"Time will be the factor. Right now we have a job to do." She gives him a kiss, "you know, we are alone." She giggles.

Sylas kisses her again. "You're unbelievable...We should probably leave. I think the experience will be better up above..."

Dowan snorts, "I love teasing you."

Sylas kisses her again, his hand traveling down. "Two can play at that game, Dowan..." Around them, the Atrium starts rebuilding itself, becoming its glorious grand old self. The snow begins to fall with gusto, and the snow drifts into the shape of hearts of various sizes.

She smiles, "Oh really? I'm the better player." She kisses him, letting his hands roam.

Sylas's hand reaches its destination, ignoring her clothes and setting to work. "Don't test me, Dowan..."

She doesn't retort, just lets him do his work happily, moaning in all the right places.

Sylas kisses her, then pulls away, walking away from the chair, turning around, and smirking. "How does it feel to be teased?"

Rolling her eyes, she said, "Nice."

Sylas chuckles, walking back over to her and kissing her. "Dowan, let's try again...let's try having a family again..."
