The Dragon's Den- A bar located in a complete ghost town, where monsters and humans can chat and interact with each other.(Open for ALL!!!)

Cassandra was wearing a sparkling crimson dress that matched her fiery red hair perfectly as she stepped on leaves and broken branches with her white high heels. She had been walking for quite a while now and couldn't wait to rest her feet at her final destination. She was currently in a ghost town that seemed to abandoned for many years now.

"I can still remember the time... That daddy and I would play tag here.", she whispered to herself as nostalgic feeling washed over her. She had just spotted an old and rusty run down playground that she remembered playing on long ago with her father. Cassandra could almost hear her father's voice in her head saying, "Slow down sweetie, you'll trip and fall."

Cassandra sighed as she remembered why she was her and continued to walk. After another half hour of walking, she had finally arrived. The Dragon's Den., could be read in big, red, and dusty letters. Below those letters were two black doors that led into the inside of the abandoned black bar.

Cassandra opened the doors and let herself in, this was her bar now after all, to see a red tile floor that was in need of serious sweeping and mopping. Further examination of the bar revealed that it was still in moderate condition. It had working bathrooms, a counter with five seats to sit at, five other round tables with respective chairs of their own, a pool table, and most importantly, tons of aged alcoholic beverages to choose from.

Cassandra had passed out flyers at multiple towns that help would be wanted to restore the little humble abode. Cassandra expected visitors to arrive at any moment and decided to hang up sign. A sign that reads, HELP WANTED.

Now all that was left to do, was wait.

Daedalus took in the sight's below him, content if not necessarily happy to be flying again. It was Autumn, and at the altitude he was flying at there would be no noticeable change to the temperature on the ground. However, he mussed to himself, some town might be getting a bit of early snow from the clouds he passed through. These little situations have always brought some small amusement to him, especially once the humans began to attempt to 'predict' the weather.

Spying his destination from the great height, he began to descend toward the ground, his movement masked by the mist he was capable of producing. Landing in a spiral of frost at the outskirts of town, he felt his body shrink and contort as his great bird form shifted into that of a human. Taking a small moment to catch his breath, he stood from his knees, slung off his pack and pulled out a set of standard clothes and a traveling cloak. The cloak stood out from the rest of his wardrobe, as it was one of the things that Aelia had given to him. She might be coming shortly anyway. Despite her class standing, she seemed to think of this place as a novelty.

Dismissing the weird mix of emotions he felt at her memory, he headed off on foot toward his destination, the bar he remembered opening some time ago. He felt like it was a few decades, but it might have been much longer or any amount shorter. After only a few minutes of walking, he reached what he assumed to be the bar. It had large letters shouting the name, and seemed to be the only building here in any semblance of repair. Maybe he had been wrong about the date it opened, and that it was indeed much older and no longer in use. His eyes, however, spotted a very new help wanted sign, and therefore decided to enter. He saw a young lady with a fiery red dress and the hair to match standing in the bar, and sent her nod, refocusing on his body's temperature. He was not as worried about being identified here, but coating the entire place in ice was not the way to leave a good impression.

Cassandra walked towards the window in awe as she saw all the snow that was falling on top of her hometown. "Oh my... It's... Actually snowing!", she cried out in glee as she hopped up and down like a little girl. Cassandra never remembered it snowing her as a child but was still filled with up most joy from the site of the miracle. This snow could possibly even lead others to come to the bar's grand reopening, but still that was just a possibility.

Cassandra soon calmed down after she finally noticed that Daedalus had entered, "Snow and a visitor? ... You don't know how happy this makes me!" She jolted towards Daedalus and immediately shook his hand with both of her own excitedly. "My name is Cassandra Bane, my father was the previous owner of The Dragon's Den and would have been extremely happy to see a new face like yours. Please tell me, are you looking for work?", she asked quickly while still shaking his hand.

Daedalus accepted Cassandra's handshake, though with her enthusiasm, he really had no choice. A slight smile was at the corner of his mouth, as he knew that he was the cause of both sources of her excitement. At the earliest possible opportunity, he removed his hand from her grasp, more so out of worry that his body would injure her than any rudeness. "Demitri. And no. I am only passing through." He had decided to use his human name with her. They had just met, and he was still unsure of how she would react to his true name.

"Uh... Oh.", Cassandra said a bit disappointed now as continued to wipe down the bar's counter with a wet rag. "It's a real shame that you aren't... But oh well.", she said as she began to try and guess the type of monster he was in her head. It would definitely be a great guessing game and she already had a bit of a clue,"I'm guessing that the snow is possibly your doing, is it safe to assume that you might be a... Yuki-Otoko?"

Daedalus followed the girl to the bar and sat down at one of the stools, and removed his traveling cloak. His hair and eyes were now completely visible, the pale blue contrasting the red of the room. "No. I am not a Yeti, one of the mountain people." This young lady had an intelligence behind her pretty face. He knew this place was meant to available to non-humans, but after just meeting him she identified him as not only a non-human, but was already associating the snow with him. "You will not guess. I can promise you that."

She chuckled and started to wash up a glass, "Well, whatever type of creature you are, you're always welcome to come inside. My father made this bar for one reason and one reason only, to bring people from just about all races together." She continued to hum to herself until she finally cleaned the glass completely and poured a small amount of beer into it. She then took a scoop full of ice and added it to the drink before saying, "This one will be on the house. So you're just passing by... Heading anywhere in particular?"

He graciously took the drink, though he almost laughed when she added the ice. "I realize beer is to be chilled, but you didn't need to do that." Daedalus took a decent swig before setting down the glass, the handle covered in a small layer of frost. "Here actually." he continued after he drank, answering her second question. "I planned to talk to the patrons." he looked around at the emptiness of the place, his face full of amusement. "though it seems I beat the crowed."

Cassandra sighed as she went back to washing dishes, "You're the only one who actually decided to come. I think everyone else simply just don't care for a run down bar like this. Well... What did you want to talk about?"

Daedalus locked eyes with Cassandra, showing her the age locked away in his while confirming the lack in hers. "Answers for what I am." He took another swig from his free beer, not bothering to elaborate on the subject any further.

"So what you're basically wanting... Is for me to guess what you're species is... Even though you stated earlier that I wouldn't be capable of guessing?", while Daedalus locked eyes with her, Cassandra's eyes flickered quickly from her human eyes to her Draconian ones. She giggled before saying, "Mind if I get a few clues?"

He recognized the flicker in her eyes, and identified her as a draconian, one of the fire-lizards. "Very well, I shall humor you." He exhaled a small amount of mist. This caused his markings to appear with a slight glow, and he continued to speak. "I was born a Phoenix."

Cassandra just gave him an odd look and made it even more awkward by remaining silent for a great amount of time before speaking, "You're a Phoenix... A legendary bird made of fire yet... You control ice instead of fire? Please explain to me... Why is that."

((OOC: Sorry to interrupt, but I was wondering... The title says 'open for all', but it also specifies only humans and monsters, so I was wondering if that applies to other entities as well? Again, pardon me if I'm interrupting anything.))

Ragdoul walked up to the door, swearing silently as he shoved another handful of stuffing, taken from his ever-dwindling supply, through the tear in his neck. The doll boy hoped that Eiine's map was still relevant, otherwise it seemed he would run out of his fluffy lifeblood before he found everything he needed. Then he'd have to use something else, like straw or grass... or, god forbid, dirt. Ragdoul shuddered. No, that was definately not an option. Pushing open the door, the boy trudged over to an empty table and hopped up on a chair, his head just barely clearing the rim, making him look ridiculous.

Daedalus gave Cassandra this challenging, almost smug, look as he leaned away from the counter, his glass back in his hands. "And now you know my question." He turned to the door as this young boy entered the bar, and he was intrigued that such a small child would be this far away from actual towns. The child was probably far more dangerous than he seemed. But danger and threats are not the same, and he only sat watching out of the corner of the eye.

Cassandra smiled when she saw the child and tried to approach him after she finished washing her last dish. "Hello there little guy, you look a little far away from home...", Cassandra began before she got a closer look of the child to see that he was a living rag doll. This didn't really scare her much but simply intrigued her, "Um... Excuse me sweetheart, but what race are you from?"

ryu and crusher had decided to take a little vacation from death city and do a little exploration. "so let's go over this again. we where frozen in 2014 already but the military in our time sent us through a time vortex four hundred years in the past but we ended up in an alternate time line were humans know about the existence of witches and mythical creatures?" "literally for the hundredth time YES! ugh i need a drink." just as ryu says that she looks to her left and notices a sign that says "the dragons den" along with a help wanted sign. "talk about irony. i ask for a drink and a pub is right there. hey idiot put your nose plugs in so you don't get drunk from the fumes." her partner did as she said and put the plugs in his nose. then the two walked into bar though ryu had to bend down a little just to fit through the door. upon entering ryu spots a child and a girl near him and a man with a beer at the counter.

Lucius popped inside the bar, appearing in a flash of smoke and fire. There was only 3 other people in the place, but the aign on the wall confirmed that this was, indeed, the Dragon's Den. Why Aelia wanted to meet him here was beyond even his understanding, but he would humor her. The company here wasn't his normal crowd, but he was here to meet some special; someone that he hadn't seen in two hundred years and had missed dearly. Aelia was different from all of the oher immortals that he had met in his lifetime. She understood the necessity for beauty and creativity. Most other immortals just see the world as boring and ugly, but not she or him. It would be good to catch up and see how she was doing. He even made sure to wear his new suit that he had gotten from one of her stores. He went over to the group and promptly, "Good afternoon, lady and gentlemen, and how are you all on this fine day?"

Aelia would have to tip her driver a bit more tonight after asking him to bring her out this far. The man was so loyal, anyway, so it wouldn't be a problem at all. The Dragon's Den was such a cute little place to visit. It was rustic and reminded her of the country. She may be used to the finery of high living, but going back to basics was a good practice for everyone to have. Dust kicked up beside the limo as it drove through the abandoned town, stopping when it reached the bar. Her driver let her out, she gave him his tip and intructions to return when she called him, and sent him on his face. He pulled her purse onto her shoulder and headed inside.

Cassandra picked the boy up and sat him down on a chair, he was going to have to wait. "Hello everyone, is anyone looking for work.... Or are you just looking for a drink?", Cassandra asked in sweet tone as she made her way back over to the counter to set up any drinks if she needed to. Judging by the newcomers regal appearances, she doubted that they were going to try to apply for a job.

Ryu went over to the bar and sat on one of the stools next to the ragdoll child towering over him. "i need something smooth to ease my head." she said looking down to the girl on the other side of the counter,

Crusher was staring at the person who had appeared from smoke with wide eyes. "SO COOL! Are you a ninja mr? If you are how bout a ninja off!"

Daedalus ignored the humans that arrived in the bar, their race obvious from the way they gawked at the appearance of the sorcerer and instead looked at man that seemed to have a knack for flair. "Possibly better. Care to join me for a drink?" There was still some seats available at the bar proper, and he offered the man the one next to him. He has heard of the reputation of sorcerers, and would like to ask the man of his exploits and what he may have heard.

"Love to, my friend, love to, and no, I am not a ninja, so scamper on." Lucius said, taking the seat next to the man. He had directed the last part of his sentence to the human. He disdained their company so, but he was at least polite about......well, polite in his way. Something told him the chill in the air must have come from this fellow next to him since Lucius could feel cold coming off of him instead of heat. His magic let him see heat, and this man was a deep , lovely shade of blue. "So, cold stuff, how is the world going for you?" He asked, trying to make light conversation.

"I think his life is going very interestingly considering how small the world is right now." A light, musical voice said, the sound washing over both men. He turned and saw the most gorgeous woman he had ever met standing before him. She quickly moved behind the man next to him and wrapped her arms around him and, bring her mouth to his neck, she whispered, "Hello, my icy lover. I'm surprised to see you here. I hope Lucius has been keeping you entertained."

"I've only said one sentence to him, but sure, I've been keeping him entertained." Lucius remarked sarcastically.

Aelia had genuinely been surprised to see Daedalus sitting in the stool next to Lucius. After their last.....meeting, he had departed without much else said, leaving a very awkward feeling in the air, which Aelia hated. Going inside, she had made sure her allure was locked up tight because she didn't want anything to go wrong. Besides, now that Daedalus was here, she had even more reason to not use it because she didn't need it with him. After all, he had told her when he left that she could have just asked. She nuzzled into his neck, making sure to take in the delicious scent that she remembered. She was surprised that she was this happy to see him. Well, she can't be too surprised. He was a fantastic lover and still a curiosity, after all. "So, how have you been, love?" She asked, directed at Daedalus.
