Asuka sat oh her bed. She could feel her pulse pounding in her head and fingers. She trembled violently. That witch knew her daughter. Knew her as Lenore, the very name she had given her. Why would she hide it? Was she defending the bat witch? Were those her friend she protected? Asuka ran to the bathroom and vomited. She couldn't fight like this. There was no way.

Aiko knocks on Asuka's door. "Asuka, are you in there? You looked pale after texting Charim...Are you ok?"

Asuka tried to speak, but her voice came out as nothing more than a weak cracking sound. She vomited again, sure that Aiko could hear her.

Aiko quickly unlocks the door, them all having the keys to each others rooms. She came into the bathroom, rubbing Asuka's back and not asking questions. Yet. "Shhh, it's ok..."

Asuka looked worse than dead. Everything about her features seemed gaunt and pulled back. She was weak to the point where she couldn't lift her own head off the seat of the toilet. She was screaming behind her blank expression and hollow lifeless eyes.

Aiko pulls her into a hug, wiping away some vomit with toilet paper and and flushing the toilet. "Asuka, it's ok...Just talk to me, let me help you..." Even as she spoke she was grabbing the waste bucket from the bathroom, and carrying it and Asuka back to the bed.

Asuka's limbs were limp, and her head rolled almost freely as she was lifted. Despite her height, Asuka was easy to lift. She couldn't have possibly weighed more than 80lbs. The movement made her feel sicker, so she clamped her mouth closed and lifted a trembling hand for the bucket.

Aiko holds it in range of her mouth. She sets Asuka down on the edge of the bed, bending her over slightly and setting the bucket on her legs. She rubbed her back some more. "It's ok, Asuka. Let it out. Let it out and then let me in...I can help..."

Asuka threw up again, still trembling violently. She fumbled with her phone in her pocket, and dropped it on the floor due to her tremors.

Aiko picks the phone up. "Is there something on here that's causing this?"

Aiko turns the phone on from standby, the screen going instantly to the texts between Asuka and Charim. She looks them over. "Asuka....I don't understand....I need you to guide me..."

"S-she has L-Lenore... My b-baby..." She coughed weakly, blood dripping off her lip where her own stomach acid was eating away her esophagus.

Aiko goes through several different emotions before deciding on a course of action. She closes her eyes, resting a hand on Asuka. Her soul tentatively pokes at Asuka's before surrounding it, and Aiko began to work. She was more of a spiritual healer than an actual one, but she had her moments. This would have to be one of them. She would do what she could for Asuka's spirit later, but now she set to work healing damage to her body.

"Aiko... N-No..."Asuka protested weakly. She knew it was too much pain for her to handle.

Her soul was torn down the middle, almost totally in two. Her wavelength pounded erratically in all directions, trying to make sense of the pain.

Aiko groans. She floated into the breach, and began to pull Asuka's soul back together. Her real life body groaned weakly, but seemed to endure, at least for the moment.

Asuka didn't fair as well. Pulling a soul back together was excruciating. She screamed bloody murder, her body contorting in pain. Her back arched and her head rolled back, every muscle tensed. She ripped her bed sheets with her fingernails trying to grip onto something to distract from the pain.

Aiko's real world body coughs lightly, a trickle of blood starting to drip down from her lips. Inside Asuka, Aiko mended another piece of their leader's soul, panting from the effort.

Asuka kept screaming, her knees locked to her chest. Her blood felt like fire burning her veins white-hot, and her body felt like she was being sawed in half.

Aiko's body groans again, blood starting to leak more freely from her mouth. Inside of Asuka, Aiko comes closer and closer to mending Asuka's soul, just over halfway done.

Asuka's screaming didn't relent, and her heart beat was furiously irregular. Skipping and racing alternately, her body was going into shock. Her chest jerked inward, her head cracking on her knee. Blood dripped from her forehead and throat both, as well as on her legs from her clawing.

Aiko finishes her work, mending Asuka's soul. As she does so, her body bends over, and she vomits a mix of blood and vomit. Her hand falls from Asuka's shoulder, both of her arms clutching her stomach.

Asuka pitched forward onto the floor, unconscious, somehow not spilling the bucket on herself or landing in Aiko's mess. Her head was bleeding profusely, as was her mouth and thighs.

Aiko collapses next to her, also unconscious as a small stream of blood leaks from her mouth.
