"Partner... Partner... What the hell... Why would one need a partner here... I bet it has something to do with that weapon thing those two girls had explained."
Yui grumbled softly to herself while going through the halls. She had been talking with some people around DWMA but was directed to a certain partnering class. She wanted to ask things, but they assumed she was a new student, lost on her way. Heck whatever. She would join this school if she had to. Maybe she would learn some new interesting things. But she felt a bit annoyed that nobody listened to her. Perhaps for the better. She had to contact the higher-ups somehow, like those twins had recommended that night. She looked at each door sign looking for the correct classroom.

When she reached the right door she hesitated. On the other side she heard a lot of noise. She was uncertain if she should enter at this moment. People around her already told her she was late and she should hurry or might miss partnering class. Perhaps people were just testing out their new partners and their compatibility. She slowly and quietly opened the door to have a peek inside, and hoped nobody noticed the door opening.

Inside she saw the guy she had seen at Puerto Rico. And immediately shut the door.
"What is he doing there!?"
She whispered. Leaning against the door. She could just leave. It was not like anyone would notice. She was not a student here anyway. So why would anyone bother to check if she had been to partnering class? The idea of ditching class made her feel uneasy. She never ditched class at home. Why would she ditch now? But this class. She was not expected to be there. Nobody would care. Right...? The thoughts in her mind got her stuck in place. However... That guy was there too, and he would probably recognize her and... and... Probably point out she was a suspicious person. And then people would start thinking. She was walking back and forth in the hall near the door.

Chicory's reflection blushed and shuffled a little when Juro complimented her weapon form. "A-Arigato" She replied nervously. Chicory didn't always get praised for such thing, so she was unsure how to take it. However she needed to focus and she took in a deep breath as she placed her hand on her heart. 'The Bō is an extension of the body, the weapon is a part of the Meister, I, am a part of Juro-kun.' Chicory then had all her focus concentrated on the opponent, as well as the area around Juro. As Juro went for his attack Chicory could easily sense every move, every vibration that came into contact around Juro.

This was what it meant to be a part of the Meister, to feel what they feel, see the world from their perspective as well as yours. The opponent made his move, launching forward to dodge Juro's attack. Only he was just dodging, he was coming in for a counter strike. As the blade came close to Juro Chicory's weapon form seemed to move on it's own. She adjusted herself so that she was in Juro's hand on the side the attack was coming from, and then her form shifted it's position so that the blade hit her instead of Juro, successfully blocking the counter as the blade ran down Chicory's shaft. "Turn." Juro could hear in a calm echoing tone, telepathically once again.

Upon turning to face the opponents Chicory could sense Calvin's movements and feel a shift within the air coming towards them. "Projectiles" Chicory then shifted her form so Juro was holding her in front of him, and as he opened his palm, Chicory would start to spin rapidly in front of him, causing vibrant waves to move through the air, and as the bullets came towards her the wavelength would reflect of of the air and dissipate somewhere in front of Juro. After the blocking of the bullets, Chicory moved back into Juro's grip. "Juro-kun, sweep attack." Chicory stated, trying to get Juro to sweep the ground under Calvin.

Juro was surprised when the weapon seemed to move on its own he supported it in its actions and did what he was commanded to do right up to the point where she asked him to turn around. He was facing the enemy now, and was absolutely amazed at how she blocked the bullets. "Chicory that was amazing! How awesome are you?" He asked mentally with a smile. He dashed forward and with surprising speed slid forward on his knees. He made a fast and wide swing at Chase's knees in an attempt to get Calvin off his feet. "Whatever you say Chicory."

    Grey's mouth dropped a bit and he raised an eyebrow. Grey leans over to the the guy that he came in late as as he watched Juro go for a block that surprised the weapon meister." A skilled man with a stone can beat even a kishin egg if the difference in skill is too great. Chicory, the staff weapon, is quite good, but do you think the two newbies will win." The fight quickly was beginning to get progressively more interesting.

    Grey doubted that there was a person in the room not absorbed on the fight. Chicory was amazing there was no question about it, and she had at least surprised Grey. Then there was the demonstrator, he moved quite fluidly while also holding back his weapons to protect his sparring partner. It was a bit dosapointing that this was only a sparring match. Then the bō staff blocked bullets, and he began to realize why polearm meisters were considered to be so terrifying. He realized that just because she was a bō she was not to be counted out, but Grey still wasn't convinced that they would win. He waited for the guy beside of him with the map in his hand to answer so that he could get some insight on him and hear his opinion.

Astryd eyed the masses of people apprehensively, fiddling with a strand of her hair anxiously.
Yes, she was a weapon, like many of the others there. Mostly, she was worried that she wouldn't get a partner. Her silver eyes glistened as she blinked away unshed tears.
She had been looking for a partner for several years now, and was starting to lose hope.
There wasn't much a meisterless weapon could do after all.
Her shoulders drooping, she trudged back into a corner.
Brushing her long hair away from her face, her eyes lit up as she noticed a couple of friendly looking people talking about the match. "Hello." she said softly.
