Pesty

Name: Pestilence, she likes to be called Pesty.

Gender/Sex: Female

Age: Pesty may look like a little girl, but she's been around long enough to lose track of how old she is.

Species: Pesty isn't sure what she is anymore, she only knows she used to be human. In reality, she is the vessel of all Sickness and Ills.

Love Interest: Pesty has given up on receiving any kind of kindness or love.

Orientation (Sexual/Romantic): Pesty doesn't think about that stuff anymore.

Weapon: Pesty was human, so she might be able to wield a weapon, but she tries not to touch anyone so as to not afflict them with illness... or kill them with it.

Appearance: Pesty in all honesty looks like a sweet little girl. She is tiny and has the cutest face you've ever seen. However she is afflicted with a combination of every illness there is, which has given her a number of less desirable features. Her skin has become a greyish green color, that of one stricken with illness. Her hair while pitch black has a dark shade of green mixed in with it. Her black dress stricken with the same dark green from ages of wandering the earth alone.

Her eyes are that are clouded, having no real light within them as she has been walking the earth desperate for kindness and understanding, only to receive none do to her curse. A constant tiny frown painted on her face because Pesty has forgotten how to smile. Pesty is tiny, around 3'8" and weighing around 89lbs. She seems a little skinny for her apparent age, mainly from lack of wanting to eat.

Personality: Pesty is a little lacking in the social department, not having much interaction with other people she sometimes doesn't even speak when spoken too because she doesn't know how to respond. Pesty has pretty much given up on interacting with humans seeing as most humans that she has tried to interact with or sometimes have simply been caught in the line of sight of have shunned her, hurt her until she retreated, or died from a deadly combination of illnesses.

Pesty sometimes comes across caring individuals that simply try to help her the best they can, this has become rare however and she is slow to open up to most because of this. However if you aren't quite "human" Pesty may open up easier because of this, but she also has a low tolerance for low moral standings. In other words, if you lie, cheat, steal, kill, Pesty really won't want to have anything to do with you, and simply walk away unless she is pursued, in which case she may lash out, or depending on actions give you a chance to prove yourself.

Pesty may not talk much, but her actions can usually speak for themselves. She is very caring and compassionate, despite what she's been through and she loves to look at all the beautiful things in the world, she only hates that she cannot directly interact with them given her fear of sharing her ill with it.

History: Pesty's history is not a very complicated or exciting one. As a human she was a little girl that was happy and healthy and loved by her parents and friends in her small village of which she lived. She played with all the other children in the village and was loved and cared for by her parents. Unfortunately fate took a turn for the worst as one day a horrible plague swept over the land and killed most afflicted. While Pesty was afflicted as well she wasn't killed by the disease but rather she found herself forever changed as an apparition came to her in a dream and told her of her fate.

"Child... you have been blessed by our will... you shall now become the vessel of Ill, the carrier of all that strickens mortal man... The embodiment of Plague... you are now Pestilence, and shall walk the earth, spreading your gift to all the filth of the world for as long as you draw breath... go forth, with our blessing..."

Pesty found herself a conduit for all the illness know to nature. This caused her to become a monster to many who look upon her. She was cursed to walk the earth, stricken to suffer illness and never die from it. Many shunned her and she simply walked the earth alone, desperate to find the love and acceptance she once had when she was human.

Soul Count: Pesty doesn't directly harm or kill anyone, but through the years her curse has taken 35 lives that have been absorbed by her curse. While she doesn't really eat human souls for power anyone killed by her affliction is automatically eaten by her curse.

Miscellaneous: While Pesty is afflicted with every Illness she is unable to die from them, and the most she ever shows of being "sick" is a little cough. This isn't the only thing that afflicts her however. She has been known to show others such as weakness, sneezing, runny nose, dizziness, and many others at random times in her life.

Abilities:

Illness for Ill Will: Pesty's curse while tragic for her own well-being acts as a sort of defense for her in it's own right. Any living thing that seeks to do harm to her might find themselves coming under the weather of some strange and sudden illness. This can result in a few symptoms such as blurry vision, weakness of muscles, difficulty breathing, coughing fits ect. It is difficult to get rid of this without vigilant medical attention, but some form of purifying wavelength may help or even heal the illness from the curse. And as long as the enemy doesn't chase after Pesty they should be able to fight off the illness after she has left the area.

Tendrils: Mostly used in times of distress or whenever she feels they are needed, Pesty can summon dark green tendrils from her body that act as extra limbs and are able to be used as such. These tendrils can stretch out a good 8 feet and are able to pick up objects about 3 times the weight of Pesty. Which isn't that much in all honesty. Meaning she can't pick up a car and throw it at someone but she could pick someone up and toss them away from her. These tendrils are also able to infect someone with Pesty's curse.

Ill Purification:[b] Pesty is able to absorb any physical sickness or illness out of a living thing, potentially curing it, only to have the immediate symptoms afflict Pesty instead.

[b]Weaknesses: Pesty is often afflicted with weaknesses of her many ills she holds within her body. She can suffer from these weaknesses at any given time and it is unknown as to how long these effects may last.

While Pesty is still only a little girl her curse has caused people to become frightened of her much like one may of a person stricken with a contagious illness. She has been branded a monster by many and only rarely receives any type of kindness.
