Meeting the Parents

Leo took her finger and looked at it.

Leo: Well, it isn't to bad, I do want to disinfect it though. Besides, it looks like is it going to-*starts poring hard* do that. . .*Sigh* Well, let's go.

Sora giggled as the rain started to fall.

"Okay, back to shore then!" she laughed, kicking her way out of the ocean. She held her hand above and out of the water, not wanting to get saltwater in her cut.

Upon reaching the sand, she walked out of the water. Sora held her arms wrapped around herself, as she was getting cold. The rain beat down on her hair and shoulders, making her shiver.

Leo was right behind her. He ran to the bag, and grabbed a sweater and a towel. He handed them to her, and packed the bag quickly.

Leo: Let's go.

"Thanks," Sora mumbled, quickly drying her hair with the towel and shrugging the sweater on. She zipped it up and held it around herself, shivering still. She followed Leo.

Leo ran back to the hotel, with Sora behind her. He opened the door to their room, and walked inside. He went to the bathroom and dried himself on. He walked back out to see what she was doing.

Sora walked into the hotel room, plopping down on the soft bed. She pushed herself under the covers until the blankets reached her chin, and she wrapped her arms around herself. She still wore the sweater, and her wet hair was splayed out on the white pillows. She looked up at Leo when he walked out of the bathroom, some of her hair falling into her face.

Leo went to his bag and pulled out a bandage and disinfection. He walked over and sat next to Sora, and uncapped the tube. He got ready to put some on her finger.

Leo: This is going to sting a little, okay?

Sora nodded, holding out the injured finger above the covers.

"...How much?" she asked nervously.

Leo smiled lightly.

Leo: Not to badly.

He then put some on her finger.

Sora bit her lip as he applied the disinfectant, wincing a bit. The pain seemed to hurt Sora more than it would hurt someone else, but it was only because of her young attitude.

"Ow..." she mumbled, but didn't moved her finger.

Leo wrapped the bandage around her finger. He tapped her head with a nice smile.

Leo: There we go, now, you should go change into some warm pants.

"Okay," Sora giggled, touching the bandage around her finger. She quietly slipped out of her covers and pulled out her bag from under the bed. She gently tugged out a pair of leggings with small holes in them and a shirt, and went into the bathroom.

She quickly changed into clean clothes, leaving her swimsuit hanging in the shower. She came out in a baggy shirt with holey leggings, then fell back onto her bed.

Leo looked at the worn out pair of leggings. He smiled, then started gathering his clothes.

Leo: Remember when I said you should get more clothes? That is what I mean.

"Well...I just usually wear dresses...I don't normally have...well...pants...." she muttered self-consciously, pulling the covers up to her chin again.

Leo: Well, you should get some for cold nights, or at least tights without holes.

He walked into the bathroom and changed to black sweats and his trademark T-shirt. He walked back out and sat on the bed.

Leo: Well, now what do we do?

Sora shrugged, yawning.

"I don't know. I think we should both get a little sleep..." she mumbled, casting him a quick, worried glance.

Leo: Well, I doubt I will get some sleep, but you can. Unless you can think of a way to get me out.

He grabbed a book and started reading.

"But..." Sora mumbled, "Fine, I-I won't sleep if you won't." She threatened, sitting up straighter. She opened her eyes wider, and reached for the TV remote.

Leo: No, go ahead and sleep. I can't really help it, but you need to.

He flipped the page slowly, and got a craving for some food.

Sora shook her head firmly, "Nope nope nope!" she said teasingly, "I'm not sleeping until you do!"

Leo: Fine then.

He gave her 5 minutes before she would fall asleep.

Sora kept her eyes open, staring wide-eyed at the TV. "You'll see." she mumbled, sensing his disbelief. She had grown fairly decent at knowing when people didn't believe her, as most didn't. She found an interesting channel and began to watch with interest.

Leo continued to read his book, starting to block out everything else.

Sora turned down the TV's music, glancing at Leo and his book.

"Sorry about the noise" she mumbled, yawning a bit.

Leo waved his hand randomly, not paying too much attention. He read his book to himself, imagining he was a part of the story. He took a small glance at Sora, then closed his eyes and laid down.
