Mr. Hammer strikes again!

Beyril smiled, "Thanks. Let's keep looking for Koizumi."

"So just stay here?"

Beyril thought she heard Droon's voice ahead, still holding on to Lexi, and moved closer.

" jeez whoever that is they r a little pitchy"

A nearby tree falls, crashing into the one that Droon and Koizumi are on. Sylas's retreating form can be seen.

Droon effortlessly jumps to the next tree" huh. Do u think it was a scare tactic or did he see us?"

Other trees start to fall all around them, boxing them in as more rose petals start to fill the air, lending an ominous purpleish/redish/pinkish glow to the area

Droon leaps onto a tree as it is falling then hops to another escaping the area sylas had squared in. " that was close wasn't it?"

The petals remain floating in the air, not attacking but instead floating into the wood. They arrange themselves to form a message. To add a more....competative portion to the experience, hidden somewhere in the woods is a flag. Capture and hold the flag til midnight and....you'll get a prize or something.... The rose petals fade suddenly and there's a groan from a nearby tree, followed by a dull thud. Rose, having fallen from the tree, lays unconscious on the ground, blood trickling from the corner of her mouth. Sylas is no where to be found.

Droon swings her around his waist from his back so they can face each other " where do you want to search? The lake?"

He growls savagely before throwing himself to the next tree and so on until they reach the lake" see anything?"

Beyril stood back up and smiled, "Thanks, Lexi. I'll try to pay more attention from now on." She walked over to Rose, opening one of her eyelids to see if she had a concussion, then lifted her over her shoulder, "We need to get Rose out of here. She might have a concussion. I'm no doctor, but we can't leave her out here if she's hurt."

"Should we look for Silas, or just take her directly to the academy?" Beyril asked.
