Double Trouble

"Just kidding...you are holding on a bit tight though..."

"It's alright...show's that you care...and that you're strong..."

He lies down too and sighs. This time, he easily fell asleep.

By the time it's one in the afternoon, Ikaru is still fast asleep.

Ikaru is lying there, not muttering. He turns slightly, smiling.

Ikaru mutters in his sleep, "Please, I'm too full for another piece of pie..."

She lets out a small laugh then covers her mouth hoping she didn't just wake him up.

"No...Don't let him have the rest..." His smile goes away and he yells in his sleep, "I SAID DON'T LET HIM HAVE IT!" that, his smile returns. "Thank you mommy..."

Ikaru hears her laugh and his eyes flutter open. He looks at her and says, "Morning Abby..."

"Really? Damn...wait a sec...how long have you been standing there?"

"Did you um...hear me say anything by any chance?"

"Did you hear...um...anything else? Like yelling? Or names?"

"Oh...right...that..." He scratches his head, his face a little red. "Well...I'm just gonna...get some new clothes on..."
