Name: The Undead Confederate
 
Overview: A skeletal, twisted ghoul in grey uniform, the Undead Confederate is a myth wrapped in an enigma enclosed in a soufflé of terror. Once named Johnny Stranger, the Undead Confederate was a low ranking officer in the Confederacy. He died at the Battle of Amelia Springs, a minor conflict during the American Civil War, after surrendering to some union soldiers. Instead of taking him as prisoner, they shot him in the heart, killing him. Two of their number was a weapon/meister pair. The weapon took Johnny's soul and ate it. A lifeless, soulless corpse, Johnny would likely have been forgotten had it not been for a certain confederate witch, Mae Louise, who took his corpse, and performed a complex reanimation process on it, bringing back Johnny's body as the Undead Confederate. While lacking a soul, his brain was mostly intact, a little damaged due to a day or so dead. Having all his memories but lacking a soul, he decided to remedy that. Killing Louise, he ate her soul, granting him immense power.

And an immense amount of hatred. Despising all life, this twisted abomination, once a honorable, if misguided man, now was a ruthless killing machine. Slaying everyone who made the mistake of wandering within five miles of his manor, the reason it has taken this long for him to be noticed is that the Undead Confederate is EXCEEDINGLY careful, only engaging those who he believes he can best. This mission will likely be a test of both your tracking skill AND combat skills.

But be forwarned, the Undead Confederate, unlike normal Kishin Eggs, does not corrupt his own soul when he eats the spirit of an innocent, but the souls already in him. So if your soul gets eaten by him, it will likely be corrupted into a Kishin Egg. Be on your guard.  
 
 
Location: A dense forest in Virginia, USA with, at its center, a large manor. Two stone paths lead to this manor, as well as numerous dirt pathways. Caves have been reported by travelers who escaped the Undead Confederate. A small graveyard is known to be within his hunting range.
