Together again (Jt and Prof.)

As she became engulfed, Aimee began to feel the sensation of heat spread from her face to the rest of her body. "Y-yeah, I bet it wasn't fun at all." She said not realizing she had practically repeated Sora's sentence. "At least you got along sometimes right?"

Sora: Of course. We had our misadventures. Like when we put ice cream down our teachers shirt. He was not pleased, and so was Brad, who took the fall for us. . . It was pretty funny, though, seeing his face go right bright red when he was trying to explain he didn't do it.

Aimee's temperature increased to what seemed like an inferno as she thought of something. She had been prying into her meisters now disabled brother. Her embarrassment grew exponentially now, her head becoming light, and the world spinning. Maintaining her composure to the best of her abilities she asks, "I-is that so?" It was hardly a question, but Aimee could hardly think.

Sora: Yeah. . . Aimee, do you need a drink of water or something? Your voice is sounding a little rhapsody. Wait, I'll get you one.

Sora pushed herself up, then went to get Aimee some water.

Aimee gave a reassuring smile, as she was sure trying to speak would only make it look worse. she wouldn't fool herself by pretending that Sora moving away from her wasn't comforting, but her thoughts were beginning to start a chain reaction. Her pointless anxiety increasing exponentially. With a few deep breaths she makes a formidable masked expression. "That would be lovely." She answered after an unusually long wait time.

Sora returned with a glass, then handed it to her.

Sora: Here you go. So Aimee. . . Are you feeling okay then? Is there anyway I can help if you aren't feeling well?

Aimee bobbed dizzily for a moment. She couldn't let the night end over something so stupid. "N-nonsense. Lets continue, shall we?" Unconsciously Aimee had reverted to the defense mechanism that was her pride. Taking the glass, she pulls half the glass into her stomach, the coolness expanding throughout her limbs. Finally, a little reprieve.

Sora: Okay then. So, what do you want to talk about?

She sat down again, careful not to sit too close to Aimee.

Sora: I want to hear about some of the stuff in your life a bit, now.

Aimee's thoughts continued to elevate her nervous feelings, but it was beginning to slowdown now. "W-who?" She asked as if anyone else were in the room. "M-me? Well... I guess there isn't really much to it. I was born, I was tutored, I was sent here."

Sora: You must have done other stuff. You can't expect me to tell you everything and you tell me nothing. Not much stuff, just a little more detail. Though if you are hurting about something, you probably shouldn't tell me, since I might not understand.

A surge of adrenaline hit Aimee, as she read too much into the statement. O-oh no!! I-I answered wrong. The world began to spend around her again. "N-no, I'm not hurting, or anything... It's just that there really wasn't much to my past. My parents had me practicing, and studying non-stop."

Sora: Alright, I understand. Boring life isn't that great to talk about. Anyway, is there anything you want to ask me then? I'm an open book for you, I guess.

Aimee mind was now helplessly pessimistic. Confusion enveloped her stressed brain. Boring? I-I'm boring? She tried to move her thoughts, but it was as if the breaks were on now. "A-are you... I can't-... No, I'm not sure."

Sora: Huh?

Sora cursed herself silently, thinking that she just broke her weapon.

Sora: Calm down a bit, Aimee. Take a deep breath in, and let it out. Then think about something happy, okay?

Aimee gave a confused expression to her partner. B-breathing? Her mind began contradicting itself. H-how do I-...? Aimee began to hyperventilate as she began trying to remember how to breathe. After a few moments, she finally takes a few deep breath's. "I'm fine. Really!" She gave a cracked smile, unmatched by her worried eyes.

Sora: Yeah, I really don't believe you when you were just hyperventilating. Aimee, I'm sure you have something in your past that is bugging you right now, but please, don't tell me. I'm not the person to talk to for this. Maybe see a psychiatrist?

Aimee shook her head. "I-..." Something's bothering me? What is it? The look of apparent confusion grew more potent. "Do I-...?" Aimee shook her head once more. This sort of thing hadn't happened until she met Sora. What about her was so different? I-I'm strange? Jerk? Different? Boring? "Am I-?" Aimee's thoughts crossed over partially into words. She was auditing unconscious now. "Am I okay?"

Sora put a hand on her shoulder, and tried to give Aimee the best smile she could.

Sora: Aimee, you are fine. You just seem to always be distracted by something. If you want to get something off your mind, you should.

The look on Aimee's face expanded from confusion into worry. "I-I, spoke?" She bit the tip of her thumb. "But I'm certain that I'm hiding nothing." Removing her thumb, Aimee uncrossed her legs, and pulled her knee's into her chest. "C-can't we just continue?" She finally managed. In truth she didn't know what had started her nervous fits around Sora, but there was a build-up of thoughts that was only growing. Single words that meant nothing became full paragraphs. Glorified hate messages to herself. For the first time Aimee's barrier of pride had been breached, and it was in more ways than one her own doing.

Sora: Alright, how about we watch a movie then or something?

Sora got up to look for a movie to watch, leaving Aimee alone on the couch. But, before she could really go anywhere, she turned back to Aimee.

Sora: Uh, what kind of movies do you have?

Still in her huddled position, Aimee's eyes shifted about the room. "W-well... I really don't have any." She finally spat out. Another habit that her parents had stuck on her. She wasn't supposed to waste time on any mindless entertainment. "The only entertaining thing I really have are some books." She finished, her tone becoming meek by the end of it.

Sora: Right. Well. . . Give me a moment, I'll find something.

She ran up the stairs, and into her room. After a bit she walked, she raced back down and sat on the couch by Aimee.

Sora: Alright, I have an idea.

Aimee gave out a miserable groan. The tension had done nothing to help the feeling of being overstuffed with sweets. "Too much cake." She said, releasing her accent once more. Remembering her surroundings, she looked up at Sora. "What's the idea." Aimee questioned, her tone beginning to find some normality once more.

Sora:*Blushes* Well. . . I kind of wanted to try on some of your clothes. We're about the same size, and they seem to be fancier then anything I can afford. I mean, I understand if you don't want me to, but it still would be nice to try them. . .

She let out a nervous laughter, turning her head away from Aimee.

Aimee gave a half hearted laugh. "They might be a bit tight across the chest." She mentioned. "But you can try on as many as you like." She finished smiling. "We can go get you some of your own sometime." Aimee started to stand, but was met with an upset stomach, and still swirling head. "W-why don't you start without me. I'll be with you in a moment."
