Weapon Form: Gale is a pata sword; this type of sword has a gauntlet at the end with a handle inside so it can effectively shield the wielder from any blows to the hand. Gale himself is a blade of four feet with a silver gauntlet that protects three-quarters of the forearm, with copper-red designs intertwining the gauntlet. When resonating with his partner, his blade grows to six feet (it is mostly energy, keeping him light-weight and maneuverable). Pulsating with energy, he capable of being swung in an arc that unleashes a burst of destructive energy in a wave to the target.

Celty is a copper-colored targe shield (19" in diameter) with silver designs on the front. She can take many hits, but there is a limit to how much she can get beat up. As she is a relatively small shield, she is mostly built to block close range attacks for a few seconds rather than absolute protection. In soul resonance, she becomes a four foot diameter shield with spikes of energy at the edge. In this form, she is capable of being thrown to inflict damage or sweep enemies off their feet and coming back to her meister in due time (lest she gets stuck in something).

Appearance: Gale's about six feet tall and 150 pounds, making him a little lighter than people his height. He has tanned skin and broad shoulders, giving him a more wild look than most. He has a lean look, his muscles well packed in and concealed. He has long limbs and fingers and well as lanky legs that add to his stretched out, humongous look. His face is oval-shaped and well carved. He has a sharp nose and a normal shaped mouth, a scar crossing his cheek and just a little over the bridge of his nose. His eyes are rather large and luminous, the irises a bright amber color like those of a feline. Gale seems eerie, especially with his tangled, copper hair hanging just above his eyes, allowing them to glow in the gaps.
In terms of clothing, Gale prefers hoodies and bomber jackets over plain t-shirts and polos, allowing him to move with ease. Dark jeans and shorts are usually what he wears underneath everything, so he has a basic look every time anyone sees him. He tends to wear flip-flops, even in the cold, or just regular sneakers. He's a very basic guy, not really caring for fashion and the like.

Celty is five feet four inches in height with a weight of one-hundred two pounds. She's very petite, with a pinched waist and slender hips. She has pale skin with barely any color in it and narrow shoulders, making her clothes seem ill-fitting and loose on her body. On her legs are many scars, crisscrossing over her knees and thighs, but they are barely visible because of her light skin. Her face is round and girlish, with a small nose and tiny mouth. Her eyes are fairly large too, showcasing scarlet-red irises which give her a confused, other-worldly look. Her honey-brown hair is full, wavy, and stretches all the way to her tailbone. she also has bangs that cover most of her forehead and ears. Overall, she gives off a small mouse sort of look, capable of charming many adults.
Her clothes never fit her, so she has to make do with whatever is available to her. Oftentimes, she runs around in tank tops and bright t-shirts, sporting a bright yellow hoodie around her hips in case she gets chilly. She wears shorts and skorts (skirts with shorts in them) along with sweatpants or anything that will fit her. Her shoes are often flip-flops like her brother, but she may change to bare-foot or just socks if she forgets. Gladiator sandals, however, are her favorite to wear, as they make her seem more "warrior-like" in her eyes. She always carries around a stuffed-toy bunny.

Personality: Gale is rather aloof and goofy, never really taking anything seriously. He tends to be a bit lazy, making people get mad at him for sitting in random places and just trying "to chill out". He hardly ever gets mad, seeing that he doesn't feel like he has things to get mad about. Despite his lazy, cool attitude, he acts completely different around his little sister. He's the doting brother type, always tending to her needs whenever he can. Gale is overprotective, getting really on edge whenever Celty talks to any males who he deems "unworthy". He always needs to be by her side so that she doesn't get into any trouble. And because he bends to his sister's will, he tries to uphold to her set of morals, trying to take care of those she wants to take care of and the like. He is very sweet and caring, but he hardly shows it because of his lazy attitude.

Celty is a sort of air-headed girl, curious about everything unknown to her and always wandering about. She is very spoiled by her older brother, but that doesn't stop her from sharing with others and being kind to complete strangers. She is not as lazy as her brother, always working her hardest to understand something or doing her best to be useful. Even with that, Celty gets into a bunch of mischief since she gets involved in everything because of her curiosity. She gets upset only when anyone tries to ruin her stuffed-toy, Bigby, who is a bunny with a large head that she carries with her everywhere in a knapsack. Otherwise, Celty is a curious yet endearing character who strives to understand everything she can.


History: The two of them were born in the same family with what they remember to be two kindly parents (both were weapons, so they had the blood running through the family). Gale had his father's attitude, being lazy yet caring over his wife. Celty became sort of like her mother in that she cared over everyone she met. They grew up without sibling rivalry, being basically best friends most of their childhood. Celty, being frail and small, was in need of protection from bullies by Gale. Gale, in turn, gave his sister gifts and made her brighten up after having to deal with people or being sick. Their family was perfect and tranquil.
One night, after going out to dinner (when Gale was 15 and Celty 11), they were attacked by an evil human that took the lives of their parents and almost Celty's, giving her painful wounds on her legs. However, Gale came in between them, gaining a scratch across his face. Defending them with random stones and pushing his sister to run, Gale tried his hardest but they were very quickly cornered. Thankfully, a meister arrived and destroyed the evil human, but the two were shattered at the sudden losses. They were given medical treatment and, eventually, Gale and Celty took it upon themselves to enroll in the DWMA so they could stop any other incidents like theirs from happening to other children. Truthfully, it was hard for Celty to recover from her injuries but it did heal enough for her to return to a normal life.
