"Ah! Your that....fiery fellow, I forget his name. Mania, I think?....Yep, just googled you, I GOT the name right. I love the internet. Look, not to be a bummer, but word of advice? My .... devices, just picked up a grouping of satellites gathering above the city, think they might be futuristic nuke satellites. Hence why I am vacating the place, moving my forces out. I already got what I came for anyways, so no real reason to stick around other than to ensure chaos."

MEANWHILE

"Huh. Sylas, after you see what I am about to show you, I would exit the city, and fast. Those power armored goons are up to something involving satellites. Anyways, exposition time. This place, among other things, made viruses. Deadly ones. Now, most Kishin wouldn't think of this, but viruses are probably the most effective offensive measure ever concieved. You can't karate chop a microbe, nor can you fight it in any other way. Makes quite the effective method of holding the world hostage. And thats just with plain old regular bio weapons. I intend to make a few....modifications. Tell me, black blood causes madness, correct? What PART of it does this? What sequence of DNA spreads madness? With a LITTLE tinkering, and the help of a liutenant who is an expert on the stuff, I have managed to isolate the gene responsible for generating madness."

The elevator doors popped open, revealing a hallway. At the end was a window, shuttered as to conceal what was on the other side.

"Five Nine Eight One Omega Sigma. That opens up the shutter. Don't waste your energy punching through, there is almost nothing you can do for those on the other side, beyond a mercy killing. You will notice that this level lacks significant radiation, by the way."

Mania shuffles a bit when inker's voice appears in his head "Aaahh! It tingles!" Clyde walked to the console and points a tool attached to a wire at mania. "Hello Inker, I am Clyde Diederick. I beleive you and I have a few things to discuss. I see you've already met the associate I sent to help you in Berlin." He says, prompting a giggle from mania. Sprocket looks up suddenly "Clyde, the machine is broadcasting. Wherever that inky fellow is, you can be sure he heard it."

Clyde nods "I prefer to do my business face to face, if you wouldn't mind."

Sylas walked up to the console, typing in the code and releasing the shutters, seeming passive about the whole deal.

Meanwhile...

Adrian smirked a bit, as Edward would find that all of his files were suddenly protected by heavy encryption, especially those relating to Artemis. On the HUD's of Kaia and Adrian, Freya would appear, followed by another holographic figure, this one dressed in ancient Greek armor and wielding a large bow. This new AI yawned, studying her surroundings through the camera's on Adrian and Kaia's armor. "Boot finalized, all systems online... Why did you wake me up, Adrian?" "Artemis, I need you to burn Madrid. And then I need you to burn Berlin. A radius of 100 km for both cities..." "You won't survive that..." Adrian smirked beneath his helmet. "You've done far worse to me before, Artemis. That's why I had to put you to sleep..."

Damn it this wasent working! He was going to demolish a city with with the enemy's forces retreating for no reason. Edward rolled out the big guns. " going.... Offline.... " he said closing his eyes. Time was of the esance. But boy was this going to hurt. " over lock. " suddenly the angels turned red and looked shimmery as if their programming was corrupted. With the power of two Yellowstone super computers he began cracking the inscription like a jugernaught. " dirty, kiehshen, terrorist, computer, basterd! " he exclaimed getting himself worked up. What he was doing was fairly amazing but already he could feel himself running his soul ragged. He looked a little aged and if this went on long enough he would get grey stress streaks in his hair.

Adrian let out a small sigh, directing his attention to the Valkyrie clad AI. "Freya, please overclock all quantum processors, and burn that runt out of my systems." Freya nodded, vanish, and Artemis frowned. "You replaced me?" He shrugged. She not mine, she belongs to my associate." Edward would find himself getting no where fast as all of Adrian's considerable computing power was brought to bear to stop him.

"Hmm.....Thing is, I am not actually IN Madrid. I'm not stupid, I know that if I were actually IN Madrid, I would be a easy target. And for reasons I cannot go into now, I am unable to give you my current location. However, I can set up a face to face. In three days. You have a cell phone? I'll text you the meeting place. Also, could you do me a favor? You're all tech savvy, correct? I need some sattelites....shut down. Seems a pair of mooks intend to nuke both Madrid AND Berlin, and I need to buy a LITTLE time."

MEANWHILE

"Adrian, good fellow, don't you know, I have EARS EVERYWHERE. I am currently having a few of my more tech savvy thralls jack with your satellites. And trying to shoot them out of the sky, but I doubt that will work. I still lack missiles, you see. And, fun fact, does the words 'soul engine' ring a bell? See, I managed to steal a couple of files from the Broken Tombstone Society, created my own. Infinite processing power, at the small price of destroying a soul or two. It'll be like the incident in Nevada, except I am going to have nuclear capacity."

MEANWHILE

The shutter would rise, revealing...several people, horribly deformed, banging on the walls, fighting one another, ect. "Further, remember when you grabbed a ring? See, it stored a copy of your genetic structure. Fudging both the gene for madness and the gene for your healing factor into a virus that caused all sorts of nasty symptoms, I created what I like to call the Inker Virus. Turns its victims into.... Well, 'zombies' would be the appropriate term, I suppose. Utterly insane to the point of lacking sentience, extremely durable, highly infectious, imagine the TERROR it would cause if it was ever unleashed. I already have several samples outside Madrid. So, carry this ultimatum back to your boss: There exists a certain magic tool I want. Bring it to me within the month, or I unleash the virus. Eternal Spring is its name."

Sylas looked passively into the room. "Inker... You have an extensive army of Kishin thralls, yes? Might I ask where they are?"

Meanwhile...

Artemis would double over in pain. "B-BASTARDS! Ah, I-I think... T-They're inside t-the first firewall..." Freya reappeared, looking over to the other AI. She rested a hand on the second holograms shoulder. "Allow me to assist you, Sister..." Freya vanished again, and Artemis, though she had dropped to one knee, began to look up. "S-She's... She's routing my signal through... 136 connections and counting... She's clouding them with junk."

OOC: For Future reference, while they could likely hear Adrian unless I specifically state that he turns his voice off, no one can hear Artemis and Freya unless I say that they're speaking through Adrian's suit.

The two angels pointed their spears at Adrian and each fired an ion beam like weapon. Edward let go of Adrian and fell back. Time to switch tactics. An angel appeared out of no where and carried edward behind the other angels in a defensive stance. Two more appeared and started firing, followed by two more. More and more would appear all firing their electronic canceling beams. As more appeared they all looked fuzzier than the next as they were more cheaply made. But each still fired with the same force.

Clyde smiles, at Inker's compliance "Already taken care of." He says, gesturing to sprocket lazily, whereupon he removed an odd bazooka looking contraption from the vehicle. It was mounted upon a tripod and had an advanced looking computer. He punches up a few buttons, causing the console screen to zoom in, focusing on the exact location of the satellites and launching a single rocket. Once high enough, it split into multiple rockets which each targeted a satellite. Tiny pinpricks of light could be seen from the ground where the explosions ripped through the sky. Cracking eventually reaches their ears. Clyde speaks again "I have a number of... Specialists with me. Is there anything else you need done? I would like our next order of business to begin relatively soon." He says, retaining his cool composure.

OOC: I'm sorry, but I have to stop here. Adrian's armor weighs several tons. He is literally as heavy as a freaking truck. I highly doubt one angel would be able to to just lift him like it was nothing.

".....you know, I like you. You are VERY helpful. Anyways, currently, I am in negotiations with a certain Death Scythe, trying to blackmail him into having the acadamy fork over something I need, and a little extra leverage never hurt. Tell me, do you have something that would cause massive amounts of panic in a short amount of time?"

MEANWHILE

"Sylas, I would tell you, but then, you would go and destroy them. Tell you what, contact your boss, inform him of my demands, and if he agrees, I will tell you the location of one of my larger divisions. You'll still have to kill them, and none of them are exactly slouches in the combat department, but I think you stand a pretty high chance."

MEANWHILE

"Heh heh.....Eh hem, Dear Adrian. You will notice that your AI friends are having a little trouble. Guess what. I am now using data-form madness to attack them. Attach a ring up to a soul drive and a bit AI, bam, instant data form madness. Completely unable to affect real world creations, but the tests I have performed indicates that it makes an EXCELLENT data corrupter. Longer your AI's fight me, the more they get corrupted, more they get damaged. Course, I can't brainwash them into serving me yet, but I can ensure they become so rampant they don't discriminate between friend and foe. Combined with my escalating efforts to hack them and the physical attacks they are receiving... Heh heh. You MAY have to perform an old yeller, if you catch my drift."

Adrian threw up a hard light shield around himself and Kaia, clearly more concerned with Inker than with the boy. "You're more than likely just corrupting random data, you monster! Freya's too secure for you to find, and if your efforts are focused on Artemis, good luck getting to her now!"

Meanwhile...

Sylas looked around, no longer concerned with the things in the cage. "If you know anything, you know why I have to deny you the Eternal Spring. It doesn't exist as a singular entity anymore. It's a literal part of Death City..."

Meanwhile...

The Artemis Satellites began to lengthen, the smaller satellites starting to funnel energy into the larger one. The countdown clock reached 1:00, and it appeared the Kaia, Adrian, and Sylas were the only ones who would survive."

" Ha! I knew you would use a shield, nobody sent you to science class huh? Tell me, what are your shields made of? " The ion beams would disable the shields as if they were aimed at the generators themselves. Unless if the circuitry had been covered in an anti emp/ion coating they would fail fast. If they were then it would slowly give away.

This time, rather than looking to sprocket, Clyde directed his gaze at the stoic figure of plague doctor "You know what to do." He says, the doctor nodding with a tip of the head. He pulled a silver canister to his side, handing gas masks to other members of the party. He twists off the lid with a hiss and kicks it into the city. About a dozen people or so noticed the foul green gas coming from the container and began convulsing on the ground. It spread slowly, causing the city to start thrashing block by block. After the convulsions passed the people went crazy, running around in all directions.

"....A LITTLE late on that, Doc. Already used poison gas. And still using the ink rain. Anyways, those satellites are still up there. Think they have hard light shielding, which is why I'm trying to hack it instead."

MEANWHILE

"Uh huh. Adrian, fun fact, my Bit AI got past the junk data exactly eleven seconds after it was set in place. Once again, incredibly high processing power. No amount of junk data will work. And don't call me a monster, you hypocrite. You are JUST as bad as me. Who here wants to vaporize two cities? One of which can, theoretically, still be saved? Dear lord, if you want to insult me, fine, but don't you DARE imply you have ANY moral ground over me."

MEANWHILE

"Hence why I gave you a month to figure out how to separate it from Death City. Which is more valuable, a giant robot, or the guarantee millions if not BILLIONS will not be subjected to a virus that makes the black plague look like the common cold?"

Freya continued to route them through larger directories: The Kremlin, MI6, Wikipedia. She continued to feed the Bit AI, and she knew the larger directories would make it more difficult for it to keep up with her. She just needed to hold it off for 20 more seconds...

Meanwhile...

Adrian just sighed, tapping one of the hexagons. "It's hard light, you idiot. You're only adding to it by firing ions at it. The shield emitters are all over my suit. Not that you can touch it, right now..."

Meanwhile...

Sylas gave a curt nod. "I'll consider it. I hope you don't mind if I stay down here. If I understand it correctly, something wicked this way comes..."

ooc: Actually wouldn't ions eat up a hard light shield? Granted fictional technology on both ends but in many representations of ion beams they are super effective against shields and can temporarily shut down electronics. Like an emp but it wears off in minutes. So unless the generator's were protected by something they should fizzle out. Or at least start to.

When the shield stayed firm Edward yelled. " Nobody calls me an idiot! I have not even begun to fight! " He had stopped overclocking but by now there were a dozen angels. They all march forward and stick their spears into the outside of the shield. Then like leeches they drain its power.

Edward hung his head. we all like to think we know a lot about science when we really don't. But screw it! Angels! Change to axe men! Their weapons fizzled away and were replaced by weighty battle axes. Like a team of lumbermen they went to work chopping away.

"Eh hem, if I may interject, may I point out a obvious flaw in your hard light barriers? You see, thing is, we can still SEE you, meaning light still passes through. So you have an obvious weakness to laser weaponry, which is nothing BUT light, I believe. I am not a scientist, however, so I may be wrong. Also, guess what I did?"

MEANWHILE

Freya would rapidly discover that this Bit AI, with near unlimited processing power, bypassed the junk data fairly quickly. However, it was not quick enough to hack the satellite....until a second Bit AI joined in. And another, and another...

MEANWHILE

"If you guess 'sicked a entire pack of Bit AI's hooked up to Soul Engines', you are correct. Beyond delaying the startup time for those satellites, you could feed them the entire internet and it simply would not be enough. Best part is? Even if those satellites do fire, I know where they are. I can simply keep attempting to hack them, over and over again, until I win. But I'm not COMPLETELY unreasonable. Lets...make a deal. I will leave your AI alone, forever, if you agree never to attempt to use its orbital strike capacities."

MEANWHILE

"Fair enough." Inker would say to Sylas. "At any rate, thinking about slowing down after this city. I located a nice, abandoned base that belonged to a certain evil organization. I intend to do some repairs, set up shop. Also, sent a friend request on facebook."

Inkers next move - Page 3 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Inkers next move   Inkers next move - Page 3 I_icon_minitimeMay 4th 2014, 1:34 am

Adrian did something insane. He dropped his shield. His arms spread out, and a hardlight display appeared before him. His fingers worked the keyboard, quickly joined by several small tendrils. Steam began to rise from his armor as he overclocked all his processors, delaying the AI's and lightening the load on Freya, who had begun to craft large pieces random images using random color displays that would be too much for any single AI to process effectively. Adrian looked over to Edward. "You, boy, you want to help, let these link to your angels and set them to overclock for three seconds." As he spoke, twelve wires dropped from his back, moving towards the angels. Even as that worked, Adrian seemed to move his helmet, searching his display. "Where are you, Zeus? How far did you drift?" He dreaded awakening his first AI, and especially since he was going to try and sacrifice the monster, but it had to be done.

OOC: That thing about the images is actually true. It's something to do with HTML coding and what're called 'Web-safe colors'
