Lenore held tight. She had never flown like this before. It was scary, and exhilarating.

Charim guides the broom out over the ocean, not bothering to see if Reaver was keeping pace as she knew he was. She holds onto Lenore with one hand, and her hat with another.

They soon arrive over an island, perhaps 10 miles long and 4 miles wide. Charim pilots them down to a three story house right on the beach. A brick wall marks the property line except on the beach, where it's replaced with a wire fence. Security guards are posted on a few of the balconies and on two guard towers along the fence. Charim hugs Lenore tightly. "What do you think?"

Lenore smiled, "It's so warm!" She beamed, "What are those men for?"

Charim smiles lightly. "They help keep bad people out, but they'll be nice to you. I promise."

Lenore smiled and nodded, waving to a guard happily.

The guard waves back, then resumes his duties. Charim lands the broom on the roof, setting Lenore down. Her helmet disappears and Charim shrinks her broom, storing it in her hat.

Lenore giggled madly, running up to the water and kicking the waves.

Charim looks out at the skies. "Once he gets here. We can do anything we want with daddy once he gets here..."

Lenore looked back up at the sky, waiting for Reaver.

Reaver appeared, flying down with a flock of large bats following him, one over his head. He lands on top of the roof next to Charim, and dismisses all but one of them. "I apologize. The sunlight was irritating me."

Charim nods, leaning up to kiss his cheek. "Of course, Reaver. Whatever makes you comfortable..."

Lenore smiled brightly and ran up to Reaver, hugging him, "Daddy!"
