Questions (Mature)

Ever since Kyllic woke up, Rose had been acting...strange. Whenever she wasn't with him, or at the Academy, she would shut herself up in her room. Music would be blaring from inside, generally 80's or 90's rock music, with occasional variation.

Kyllic did't know what was going on, but he was going to find out. He laid their plates down, along with dinner, "Rose?"

The music stops, and she peeks her head out from the door to her room. "Yeah, Kyllic? Do you need help getting dinner ready?"

"No, its ready. " He gave her a smile.

Rose opens the door all the way, stepping outside and closing it behind her. She walks to the dining room, kissing Kyllic on the cheek. "Thanks, love...." She took her seat at the table, smiling at Kyllic.

"No problem." He lets her eat some, enjoying comfortable silence. Finally, he peers at her, "are you okay?"

Rose sets her fork down, looking contemplative. After a moment she smiles at him. "Yes, of course. What made you think I wasn't?"

"See? You paused. Tell me."

Rose looks down at her plate. "Kyllic...I....Nothing is wrong..."

In one swift motion, he had Rose in his lap, "tell me." He places little kisses on his neck.

Rose sighs, smiling lightly. "I-I....I can't tell you....I'd have to show you...."

"Then do so." He said firmly.

Rose takes his hand, leading him to her room. She opens the door and the walls are covered with drawings of Arcadia in a thousand different styles, all perfectly capturing the young girl. "I....I just can't get her out of my head..." Rose blushes, closing her mouth.

Kyllic just stared. "Oh."

Rose blushes, leaning against the door frame. "Y-Yeah....This is what I've been doing..."

"You miss her." He said it as a statement, "I wish I could bring her back, I miss her too."

Rose says nothing, leaning against the door frame and blushing deeper.

"Say something." He said, walking over to her, putting their foreheads together.

Rose blushes a deep shade of red. "I....I don't know what to say..."

He just kisses her, pulling her into his arms.

Rose leans into him, returning the kiss. "I'm sorry if I worried you..."

"I was afraid it was me." He said, pulling her closer to him.

She shakes her head. "No....It was her...."

"And what can I do, to make it better."

Rose blushes, kissing him. "I....don't know..."
