Appearance: Daedalus takes on the form of a giant bird, seemingly made of ice and frost. His wingspan is approximately 30 ft, and icicles often form on them. His talons appear to be crystal though they are harder than any steel.  In his human form he appears to be  young man in his mid-twenties, though anyone looking into his eyes will clearly see the age to them. He stands at 6 foot even. His hair is a livid blue-white, his eyes pale, seemingly without any pupils. When using abilities of his human form, blue markings almost like tattoos glow on his body. When he partial shifts, his features grow more angular, his feet start to become talons, and feathers start to form on various parts of his body usually the arms.

Personality: Daedalus is what you would call quiet, or even stoic. He looks through the world in a methodical and calculating matter brought on by his age and ice. He is extremely dedicated to tasks he takes upon himself and sees them to the end. This can be a bit of a problem with his romanticism, as he often help others when he believes in what they do. He is very loyal, and if he takes a liking to you he will never betray your trust. On the other hand, Betrayal will set him against you for centuries.

History: Daedalus was born in Dyme, Greece only a few centuries after the beginnings of Christianity. One of the few phoenixes to be truly born, he is not a recursion or resurrection of a past phoenix. Like most of his kind, his plumage was red and gold, a source of flame and a symbol of the sun and immortality. It son became clear that something wasn't right with him. As he aged, his fire burned less strongly and yet showed no signs of resurrection. His feathers started to shift in color, turning from the warm reds and golds to blues and whites. By the time he was 800 years old, he clearly was not a normal phoenix anymore. Ice embodied him like fire did to most others, and his presence was a danger to the ‘young’ Phoenix. He was exiled from the clan for this and has been roaming the world for two things. the first is to find out why he is like this, the second, to find a way to ‘cure’ him.

Abilities	Decription
Aura of frost	His body has become so chilled that it absorbs the heat from the surroundings, coating everything in ice. This ability is constantly active in his bird form, and requires conscious effort in human to extend it beyond his skin. This is technically not an actual ability, more so just his body temperature. Body temperature is -150 C (123 K) (-238 F)
Transformation	Can shift between a human form, partial form, and full monster
Icy Regeneration	When he takes moderate to severe injury, His body naturally encases itself in nearly impenetrable ice. hours later, he is released fully healed. moderate injuries (deep gashes and such) take 10 posts to heal or one time lapse. Severe injuries (severed limbs, heavy organ damage) takes 20 posts or two time lapses(one if very long)
Shrouding Mist	With a breath, Daedalus can encompass his immediate area with a thick mist obscuring visual based senses and abilities. This lasts for 5 rounds in normal conditions. 2 rounds in winds.
Eagle Eyes	His eyesight is much more keen than a humans allowing for essentially 10 times perception in monster form, and 7 times perception in human form.
Shattering Blow	Active manipulation of Cold or the lack of heat, he can concentrate the lack of energy onto any body part of his choice. This causes almost anything he touches to instantly freeze and with enough force, shatter. This is highly effective against living beings.

Weaknesses: He is weak to extreme heat as it can threaten to melt him.
