Appearance:

When Renata and Rayleigh transform, they do so with a flash of light purple-gray. The sisters` weapon forms are twin butterfly swords, and the two swords are connected by a thin chain when they transform (Not shown in the photo). Her weapon appearance is a rather modern looking weapon, silver and refined, with beautifully carved, wood handles, and a black leather sheath. Inside the sheath, the two blades rest next to one another, side by side, and appear to be only one blade while looking at them from above. The upper half of the edge of the blade is sharp, while the lower half is dulled, for blocking without ruining the blade, as well as blunt attacks. The point is also sharp, and can be used for stabbing. Rayleigh`s weapon form is hybrid butterfly swords, in that they are equally useful for slashing and thrusting. One of the blades has a slight black tip to distinguish the two twins while they are in their weapon forms. Renata is the blade with the black tip. Each sword has a cutlass style hand guard to protect the user, even though the bottom edge of the blade is dulled. The twins` weapon forms are also slightly longer than most hybrid butterfly swords. They have a more elegant look to them, instead of the clunky, squared off swords that look more like straight edged butcher knives.

Love Interest:

Orientation (Sexual/Romantic): Pansexual..? Either girl finds the idea of loving a human to be ridiculous, especially since they`re half-faerie themselves and wouldn`t want anyone else to be like that, despite the fact that they look down upon pure humans. (( OOC : I`m sure that either girl would fall in love with a human though xD))

Appearance: Renata is the older twin by six minutes, and she has long, purple-pink hair and bangs. Her sister, Rayleigh, has lighter blue-green hair that is usually up in pigtails, as opposed to Renata, who keeps hers loose. (In the picture at the top of the page, both of their hair appears to be more purple and more blue than it actually is, and is more pink and green). Both girls wear a pair of headphones that have butterfly wings protruding behind from the parts that cover their ears. They each also have wavy/curly hair, although Rayleigh`s is straight at the top, while your can see the wave in Renata`s more because she keeps hers loose. Both girls have fairly light skin, which glows faintly, because of their faerie blood. Renata`s attire is a tight fitting black halter top dress with large bows, with a modest length black skirt of the dress, which is ruffled. Rayleigh wears a sleeveless black dress with the same skirt, which is shorter on Rayleigh`s dress than Renata`s. Both of these dresses have wide silver belts that emphasize their thinness and are decorated with silver and white lace over black satin. Rayleigh will also add a miniature black top hat, with silver and white lace, which she positions crookedly on top of her hair. This clothing can be paired with black high gloves, which reach almost to the girls` shoulders and are decorated with stiff lace. Also, this outfit is rather too formal, and the two sisters wear it when they feel like embarrassing someone with how provocative it seems.

Renata doesn`t approve of this outfit therefore as much as Rayleigh, especially because she feels that Rayleigh`s outfit attracts too much attention, despite the fact that she likes the effect it has if they`re not in danger or trying to hide. When the twins aren`t wearing this outfit, their ordinary attire is much more conservative. Both girls will wear an outfit that is largely the same, with a sleeveless white blouse and a black collar. Sometimes Renata will wear a cropped top with elbow length sleeves, which is a lighter brown. Both girls wear this with flowing black skirts and leggings underneath. These two outfits can be matched with wrist-length fingerless black gloves, made of stretch and comfortable material. It`s not easy to mix the two of them up if you`ve been introduced to them, or even if you`ve not been. This is especially because of their hair colour and usual clothing, both of which are different. In addition, Renata is taller than Rayleigh by a marked difference, and she is also the older twin.

Personality: The twins are each mischievous, although outwardly their faces appear to be mature and serene. Renata is a bit more serious, but she still likes to have fun, even though she doesn`t play with people the same way as Rayleigh does, and prefers to prank them instead of deceive them with words. Even though they are 15 years old, they are very immature and their inner selves seem to only possess the maturity level of a pair of 12 year olds. Each of them deeply care about the other, and both will put each other`s lives over anyone else`s, which can become a problem for their meister, whom they`re supposed to protect with finality. Renata has always felt like the older sister, and she has a darker view on life. Rayleigh is the twin that really just wants to have fun, and she`s more reckless. But, at the same time, she`s much crueler than Renata, who can be very generous and kind at times, but also can be cold, and possess the same cruelty, when she thinks someone or something may be threatening her sister.

Both of the twins will call someone a mortal if they are very angry and the person in question is a human, but Rayleigh will call them humans and mortals frequently, whether or not she`s angry or not. The sisters are also very possessive. Despite Renata`s usual generosity, she prefers to give, and not to be told to give. When Renata gives things away, in her mind, they still belong to her, and she dislikes it when the receiver says something like "Oh it`s mine now, you gave it to me." Rayleigh is also very possessive, and she likes to make a claim on people and act as though they`re toys.Both of them have an unbreakable bond, and despite their maturity level, they both have experienced a lot of hardship in the world. This is part of the reason that Rayleigh can often be bitter and uncaring. The two are not sadistic, and they are not masochists, either, but Rayleigh likes to play with her opponents in battles, despite the fact that she would never let them go free if she won. In battle, Rayleigh will charge in laughing and show no mercy, but Renata avoids fighting when she can. However, if one of the sisters is involved in a fight, the other will almost always jump in to assist the other, so the two fight like a team a lot. Both of them are intelligent, and competent. They focus on pranks, and having fun, to disguise the fact that they truly have a maturity far beyond their years, even though it seems like internally they are less than their age. Both of them have a sense of integrity, but it can be clouded when they are confronted with something that has to do with the safety of their twin.

History: The two girls were born in the human realm after a charmed young woman fell in love with a faerie, which was her downfall. The twins were born in the continent of North America, during the beautiful summer season, when magic was all around and the butterflies flew every where. Renata and Rayleigh were told by their mother from birth that their father was the most beautiful creature on the face of the planet, even though he abandoned her, because she was just a mortal, after all. True faeries don`t have emotions the same way as humans did, and even though the twins` father hadn`t ever loved their mother, she still loved him with her entire heart. On the girls` sixth birthday, they both were whisked away to the faerie realm, and they never saw their mother again.

Inside the faerie realm, they wondered if their father had come to bring them to his home, but they soon realised that this was not the case. Instead, the had been trapped by treasure seekers from this world, outcast faeries from the Unseelie Court, and they were capturing faeries to sell to evil creatures in the realm that would pay for components from their body; in this case, being part butterfly faeries, their magic and nonexsistent wings were precious materials. The treasure seekers were outraged to see that the girls were actually only half faerie and that they had no wings, and were prepared to kill them when one of the treasure hunters had an idea. They used black magic to torture Rayleigh, trying to elict a response from Renata, and they immediately received one, even though it wasn`t the tears that they were expecting (Faerie tears are worth a lot of money). Her eyes grew darker and darker until they were glowing black, and eventually the entire room was pitch black. No lights could pierce through it, including the glow of faerie magic. Renata freed Rayleigh, and they both left the treasure hunters in the pitch black room, locking the door tightly and praying that they were not used to being without their sight, and that it would take them awhile to find the way out.

Renata and Rayleigh lived in the neutral parts of the faerie realm, staying away from areas affiliated with both the Unseelie Court and the Seelie Court. They learned how to use faerie magic, and eventually managed to live an ordinary life, or as ordinary as a pair of twin half faeries` lives can be. For a long time, well over a century or two, the twins lived their life like this. However, one day, a pack of Never Wolves attacked their home, and Renata and Rayleigh tried to hide until the entire thing was over. The pack leader ended up finding the sisters, but Rayleigh transformed suddenly into a white tipped butterfly sword that seemed to fight on its own. Renata wielded it with ease, and after the wolves had been slain, the sisters stares around them and then at their own bodies, wondering what other kind of magic was inside of them. The older sister could recall their mother having sung a lullaby to them long ago, one that wove a story about the banished witch Arachne and the human weapons. The twins knew that there was something to this, so they found a passageway to the Mortal Realm and eventually got on a straight path to the DWMA. The sisters` goals are really quite simple; all they want is that quiet life in the Faerie Realm again, but because of their restless weapon blood, that is not possible. And the mortal world has changed so much from when they were here last, because faerie time moves at different speeds- will the girls be able to find their way back again?

Miscellaneous:
- The twin sisters are each half faerie, and occasionally they will reference it, especially if they`re speaking to someone that only has human blood. Rayleigh might show disdain, but Renata isn`t as prejudiced. Neither of them make a huge deal over it, but Rayleigh just doesn`t like it. If someone calls either sister a half-breed or something along those lines, they will become furious, and get a distinct killing intent.
- If the sisters are truly angry, their eyes will turn dark red and glow red, but if they`re amused, their eyes will glow golden amber over their ordinary eye colour. Their eyes also change colours depending on their mood, but they don`t glow unless they`re either amused, furious, or in mourning. If Renata died, for example, Rayleigh`s eyes would turn dark as ebony stone and glow with a white luminescence, streaked with black.
- Renata and Rayleigh are actually much older than 15; however, I am listing their age as the amount of time they spent in the Mortal Realm, as well as their apparent age together.
