| April 28th 6:38 P.M. Location - Down-Town Death City Humans disgusted Attor sometimes. It wasn’t their aversion to blood and gore, which was sadly only untrue for a very small percentage of the vast population, their ‘love’ and ‘hate’, which sometimes could be transmuted into the apparent opposite, nor was it even how their souls were a key component for many kishin eggs and their survival. It was a basic thing, made true for all, but for them it seemed ten times easier. No, a hundred times easier. It was their mortality, their frailness that completed their humanity. All things died, including kishin like himself, that was true. But, like mentioned before, it was just so easy to annihilate them. The kishin could have simply walked up to one and ripped out its pitiful innards, tore all of its muscles, and gnawed on all of its bones in a matter of minutes, maybe even seconds. Despite this little fact, the little bags of flesh amused him. They were so easy to manipulate and fool, most of them anyway, and so eager to impress or save someone else. They also writhed in agony rather well, as most of them did not have the endurance that most supernatural creatures had. Which was why the kishin found himself in some dank alleyway, at a dead end, in a quite elaborate system of side streets and even more alleyways. The bags of meat were, if anything, quite creative when it came to setting up cities. It might have been normally manageable, but the wet streets and retreating dark clouds said otherwise; unfortunately, it had been raining earlier, and the poor kishin had received so much yelling about shit that just didn’t matter. He had simply snapped when he encountered an idiotic human in front of a bar, who was demanding that he try some new ‘product’, a supposed mixture of opium and alcohol. “…Do you really think that I’m some sort of drug addict?” The words he had given were malicious and seemed to promise death. The man, unfortunately, had not been observant enough. Add one more soul to the count. The kishin was quick, slipping some toxins into his system simply by making a quick incision on the man's neck. The man had stumbled back, and Attor had dragged him into the allyway in order to make a quick deposit. |
