A man was walking down the streets of death city in a long coat. He had his targets in mind, he had been watching them go about their business. Spying on them, watching them for two weeks. He had to know what they were doing before he took any action. The two men had some how come around a few human souls. They were trying to peddle them to anyone who would possibly buy them from him. They really knew who they were selling too, how did he know what they were selling? Because he had been offered one of the souls himself. He was far from the type of Kishen egg who would buy a soul, innocent ones never went down properly in his opinion.
But now he had found them, and lucky him because it looked like someone else with an addiction to eating the souls of mankind was also conversing with them. One of them was clearly much more chatty. The other looked embarrassed at his partner and stood farther away. He strolled right across the street to them. Slipping on his white mask with the long nose. "Hey buddy so did you change your mind?" Asked the chatty one eagerly. "Yes I have friends!" He said as he wrapped his arms around the customer and the seller. The seller looked uncomfortable, the buyer looked downright terrified. "I've decided that corrupted souls go down with a lot less heartbreak than what your peddling mate."
It all happened in a second. Alex's jacket opened up to reveal two black boxes stuck to a black boxes stuck to his shirt. The second seller turned to run and the buyer yelled. "BLOODY HEL-" Then the boxes exploded.
Alexander would be the one person standing, looking pleased with himself. His own wavelength could never hurt him. He bent over and collected two corrupted souls. Then he noticed a box. He picked it up and opened it up to find two corrupted souls. A part of his heart wanted to roar like a lion in finding these but he slammed shut the small box and tucked it under his shoulder. He noticed one was missing and looked up to see a man in a black jacket with an arm and a leg blown clean off. He was reaching for a gun when all of a sudden a glowing spear appeared in his heart. He looked back to see a boy in a robe. "Hey thanks Yellow, I should have checked that I took them all out!" Robin would walk up and pull the spear out of the mans chest as he disappeared into a corrupted soul. "Your welcome..." He said. |

| Yui had been wandering at night once again. Searching then she heard an explosion in the distance. So she quickly ran to the source. She hid herself around the corner peeking carefully to see what happened. She recognized the glowing spear. She noticed the corrupted soul... So they apparently killed indiscriminately. Unlike most people at DWMA that only attacked corrupted ones. The boy said he had a very good reason to kill the guy. Her mind conflicted, she had to know and the urge to straight up ask was gnawing on her. Before she knew it she had already walked into sight with a serious look on her face. |

| "Hey don't be down yellow, keep in mind that we are not dealing with innocent people. No, these people are. Monsters is what they are." He showed Robin the contents of the box. "Alright Black, your right. Come on, we've done our work for the night. Those bombs were pretty loud, eat the souls and let's get out of here. Before trouble shows up." "Alright, time to feed some inner demons then." Alex said as he opened the box and all the souls flew inside his mouth. Turning into blue and red vapors respectively. "Oh god the innocent ones go down so hard." "Black?" "Yes?" "Trouble." Said Robin in pointing to Yui.
Alexander drew a sword and a dark pistol from his jacket. "It's you, what do you want now?" Alex said, his body glowing a golden light along with Robin as a spell was cast on him. The two got into fighting position with Alex standing protectively in front of Robin. |

| Yui's eyes narrowed. Of course they wanted a fight. She was very hostile the previous night so it wasn't surprising that they were ready to fend off when she showed herself. Surprisingly the one she hadn't seen before recognized her, even though she was in human form. "What is it you are doing? Last night an innocent one. This night a corrupted one." She didn't move an inch, nor did her expression change. She had fought off many corrupted ones of her kind. She wouldn't back off just because the two attempted to intimidate her. Her purple eyes moves between the two with slight curiosity. |

| Alexanders glowing yellow eyes focused in on the woman, Robin's description did not do her justice. He had not doubt in his mind there was more to meets the eye for this woman. "The two of us are not exactly out here to take out random people at night. We fight monsters and try to protect their victims, weather they are Kishin creatures or more human abominations. The man in question had just robbed and shot a teenage girl. I would have taken him out myself but I was getting her to the hospital so I called Yellow up and asked him to do it. Tell me your name, or at the very least something we can call you by. Now." Alexander would not be near as kind as Robin. If someone was closely watching him they would see something puff up in his jacket, an object? |

| Yui listened carefully. Apparently they took out innocent souls of criminals that didn't soil their souls. Just like that slaver... She looked around if there was nobody else. "People call me Bloodwing." She said bluntly. Most likely they might remember her name somewhere. As the murderer of that slaver... although that story had been covered up so that she looked like the criminal and that man was an innocent gentleman, it still pissed her off how ignorant humans could be. She was ready to pull back if they would open fire. |

| "Well Bloodwing, I'm standing here armed with steel and a fire arm capable of tearing through steel like an industrial saw thanks to some magic from my friend. Why don't you tell me what is going to happen now that you understand what we are doing here?" Said Alex, weapons ready but gun not aimed at her. |

| Yui crossed her arms, almost mockingly. "... Really now?" What the hell is an industrial saw? She thought. Her head gave away how confused she was about it tilting sideways a bit. She decided pretty quickly he would probably let her figure out the hard way how destructive that was and she didn't want to bet if her scales were tough enough. If she was an Earth Lundragan she might've thought otherwise. But her type was a tad more fragile so she wouldn't bet on it. "Well then, I have some more research to do then I guess." She gave a toothy grin. Grasping her necklace. "Just need to check out more than one source. I am a researcher after all." She went to turn around and was about to leave. |

| Alexander turned to look at Robin, she had seen his face, knew his name, and had prooved that she would love nothing more to kill him as soon as he was alone. When she turned around Alexander walked right up to her with Robin behind him until they were just a few feet away. He was now aiming his pistol at her head. "Stop, turn around. Your going to tell me why you hate witches and Sorcerers so much. You are going to convince me that you are not going to harm a hair on the head of my friend here and I am going to decide what the two of us must do with you. I'm caught within a rock and a hard place here you see, so I need you to tell me more before I just let you walk away. I hope you understand." |

| Yui turned around, looking straight at a gun with dull red eyes. "They took everything I had." She simply said. She didn't really wanna say any more words, because she wasn't sure how far she would sink in anger if she would speak out her memories. But words kept flowing. "That place is now a hell on earth and they left me with no place to go but to either join my brethren or lay aside the conflict to bleed to death. A lot of them where there that day. And they just laughed. Laughed at what they had done. Mocking how I kept trying to bring some sense back to them. How I was resisting that... That..." Her eyes were bright red now, almost glowing and she was resisting the tears that would flow. She grasped the necklace tighter. She had to snap out of it or she would not be able to control her actions anymore. |

| Alexander... Holstered his firearm. Another victim of a cold and soulless world. He lowed his sword and made a hand signal to Robin for him to lower his weapon as well. Another bump appeared on his jacket, lower this time. He waited for several moments for the woman to take her time and be ready. "A bit more, when you are ready." He said. |

| Yui took a breath, trying to regain her composure a bit, the anger doused a bit. She turned back around. Her eyes wandering off to her feet. "They seemed so kind at first glance... Unlike humans. They looked vulnerable like they were on the run. They managed to find a way to cover their souls as regular humans by watching how our souls reacted when we transform... In return they offered us a favor. A way to prevent our lifespan from shortening every time we use magic... They lied to us... It was actually a horrific thing that would slowly take over the soul and corrupt it whenever we would lose our temper in a negative way..." |

| "......." Said Robin, for some reason he felt guilt. Along with a feeling of tremendous sadness for Bloodwing. "Um... I'm sorry, but could you tell me how old you are? Or when this happened?"
Alexander noticed how her body changed depending on her temperament, out of the few people he had met in this city. Everyone, everyone had demons. "........" He had nothing to say, anything he could have said would have been meaningless. He felt his head and was sweating briefly. Ugg, he felt awful. Like he was hungover but worse. If it was not for the enhancement spell cast on him, he would have needed to sit down. A new power had awoken in him, a gift from his own evils. Whispered into his brain to stay there forever were the secrets to a new power. Another bump appeared in his jacket. These were very light, but up close they would not be that hard to see if you were paying close attention. |

| Yui looked at the boy. "I can't remember when... I lost count of the years for a while..." She looked back at the other guy. There was something odd, but she couldn't put her finger on it what it was. |

| A final bulge in Alexanders jacket and he figured that 6 bombs was plenty protection for someone he had no intention of attacking. He was leaning against the wall now, his now slightly bulky jacket clanking with equipment, ammunition for his pistol, and small black boxes that were stuck to the inside. "Know where it was? Were there people around? Did they have guns or bows and arrows? If you can't remember I can't blame you." |

| Yui hadn't mistaken it. He was prepared for if she would strike, though she wasn't sure in which way. She shook her head. "I have flown for a long time over the ocean before I found land, the wind had blown me in many directions. And there couldn't have been any humans around, the island was completely isolated from the rest of the world. Any unknown vessel had been torn apart with no survivors as per rules after humans invaded once attempting to subdue us." |

| "Well, if you do not have anything left to say about your history... Tell me, are you going to try and hurt Yellow again? I will KNOW if you are lying, I don't care how old you are." Said Alexander, who wanted to stop making an old woman talk about her past. |

| Yui glanced at him. Placing one hand on her hip. "That... Depends on my findings... If I find that he is innocent and just fighting for a good cause like you say. I will leave him to his own business. I can't just simply base judgment on a single source, that proved to be a poor choice last time." She clutched her necklace once again. "May I now now leave?" |

| "What do you mean your findings!? You are not hurting him I do not care what you fin-" "Black come on now!" Said Robin. "She's given us more than we could have possibly expected. She's far from the people we're out here to find. Lighten up. " "*Sigh. You know what, I'll give you the next best thing to watching us from afar. Come along with us on these little night time escapades for a while then you'll see we are doing nothing but fighting the good fight for the people of this city... You seem more than willing to try and bring justice to murderers, who wouldn't be?" |

| It was an offer she couldn't refuse. That way she could get closer to the bottom of this. Heck they might be acting it all. And they might actually trap her. But if they did. She would figure a way to get away before they could kill her. "Very well." She said, her thoughts trailing off, to things which she would have to search through in order to find out of the kid really was innocent or not. She had a handful of leads she could try. |

| "Alright then, glad to have you aboard the Free." Police sirens could be heard closing in. Alex scribbled something down on a sticky note very fast and handed it to Bloodwing. "Call this number in an hour. It's a burner phone, call me and I'll tell you where to meet us. See you tomorrow." That's when Alex turned and flew away. His feet lifting off the ground. It was kind of a shaky take off but Robin was absolutly amazed. "Oh my god! How long have you been able to do that!? Have you been holding out on me? This is so cool we'll be able to-" Said the sorcerer as the two stopped glowing and flew off to another part of the shopping district, Robin talking his ear off. |

| Yui took the paper and looked at them take off. Then she disappeared in the shadows to return to her dorm. Before she left for her room she had a talk with the housemaster who happened to be still awake. "Um... I have to call someone in an hour. Is there something I can use here to call?" "Why yes Yui sweety, we have a phone right there. I am surprised you haven't noticed it yet. Most girls don't use it because they have their own mobile phone though... Perhaps you didn't recognize it." "Oh... Right thank you..." She glanced over at the telephone. It had buttons with numbers on it. So basically she just had to press the numbers in the exact order that was on the sticky note that Black had given to her. Seemed easy enough. She wondered how she had to keep the phone close to the ear. The thing looked rather large to hold next to your head. Unlike those little things that people talked in while walking. She would figure it out later. There was the first thing she wanted to check before the hour was over.
She locked the door to her dorm after she had entered. Tapping the necklace twice which started glowing. "Replay 268 moon 12" The necklace flickedered. And then projected a hologram. An image of a beach appeared with dragonic creatures surrounding a group of humans which identified themselves as witches, it was quite a large group of them so it was hard to see them all at first glance. "Pause" Yui said. And the images immediately stopped moving. And she laid down the necklace on the floor as to not distort the image while moving around. She then proceeded to look around. She had a careful look on each of the witches that had arrived. None seemed related to 'Yellow', nor was he there. Then her alarm clock rang. She had set it to make sure she wouldn't lose track of time. She tapped the necklace twice to turn it off, and then silenced the alarm clock.
She went downstairs silently after she had locked her door. She looked at the phone. Apparently it had two components. She picked up the horn that was attached to the larger case. She figured this is what she had to talk and listen through . The cord was facing down which seemed logical and easier to hold. When she placed her ear on the horn she could hear a monotonous beep. Seemed about right. She hadn't pressed a number yet. She took the note and pressed the numbers in order as written down on it. Every time she pressed a number the feedback she got she assumed was a confirmation that she had pressed a number. Every single button had it's own pitch she noticed too. After she had pressed all the numbers she pressed on the button with the same shape as the thing in her hand had. The beeping now went at regular intervals intervals. She waited patiently for something to happen. |

| Alexander heard ringing and he immanently began to rifle through the drawers of his desk for a few moments until he was able to find the burner phone that he had given her the number for. He flipped it ope, pressed answer and said "Alright then, glad you called. Meet us in the exit to the desert, tomorrow at eleven pm. See you there I suppose." Instead of hanging up immediately he waited to answer any of her questions. |

| Yui heard a little bit of noise when the regular beep was cut-off. She recognized the voice when Black started talking. Straight to the point like always. "Understood. I will see you there then." She noticed the connection didn't get cut off. Which meant he was still on the other side of the line. She looked for a way to turn this thing off. Then she noticed the large button on the place where the horn rested. She pressed it, and heard the long beeping noise the phone made when she first picked it up. Interesting, so humans had thought of anything just to make calling easier. They could simply place the horn back without having to press the button when they were done talking. "Who was that?" Yui jumped. "Why the hell are you still up? Do you even know what time it is." It was the housemaster again. "Well, I was curious because you had to make a call in the middle of the night. Ohhh... Was it perhaps..." Yui was upset because of the pause. Was she suspicious of what she was doing in the night? Did she suspect Yui was not what people thought she was? "Your boyfriend." "... What?" "You were planning a date, were you?" Yui's head tilted. "What do you mean... What's a date...?" "How cute, she's in denial. Well, I know a girl in love when I see one, I've read a lot about it after all." Wait. That housemaster thought Yui had a MATE!? "Wa-what!? No I am not going to 'date' that guy. It's just a mission! I just have to tag along. He's not my type anyway. Far too trigger-happy and demanding for my taste." Yui madly waved her hand around while saying that. And all the housemaster did was giggle. Yui decided not to deal with this any longer and just take those few hours of sleep before class tomorrow. "Stupid... I ain't gonna mate with some random human. Who would fall in love at first sight anyway. That's dumb." She mumbled softly under the blankets before falling asleep. |
