Weapon Form: A cutlass. Long and broad, yet with a simplistic overall shape. Its blunt edge is entirely straight. It's cutting edge is entirely parallel until it curves steeply to form the point of the cutlass. The blade is a deep shade of blue, and appears almost crystalline, and is attached to the bronze hilt by a blocky metal casing that runs along the blunt edge's length and extends about midway across the blade. Along the casing are two large rivets near the hilt. Speaking of the hilt, it's rectangular in shape, and, like the casing of the blade, very blocky. It's made from bronze, giving it a golden-brown hue. The handle is the same material, but is wrapped in cloth. The pommel is a simple cube of bronze. Overall dimensions: 5 feet in length and 2 feet in width.

Love Interest: One can perhaps think he may have a slight crush on his meister

Orientation (Sexual/Romantic): Straight, yet hasn't really been in a relationship. He's sort of a balance between sexual and romantic

Appearance: White, medium length, wavy hair falls upon his pale face down just past his eyebrows. His eyes are a hue of red, with eyelids eternally stuck in a cynical glare. His skin is pallid from his albinism, and is often smeared in grease or oil from tinkering. He stands about 5'11", with the lanky, thin build of a scarecrow. He typically sticks to Victorian era clothing styles. Usually this will comprise of a dress shirt with the collar left unbuttoned; and the sleeves, long dirtied with the stains of many years of tinkering, rolled into tight bundles on his biceps. Often, he will wear a tie, and either just have it looped a single time, or leave it in a hastily ties box knot, dangling at his sternum in all its crooked glory. His attire will almost always include a vest, and matching trousers with a brown leather belt at his waist, held on by a square, brass buckle. His shoes are almost always a pair of black boots that extend up to his knees, with criss-crossing laces that lack a visible knot.

Personality: Due to his intelligent nature, he naturally does what he can to take control of a situation and come up with a strategy. He's always one to suggest diplomacy before coming to blows. He's typically rather stuffy, and enjoys the seclusion of his workshop or study over the presence of other individuals. If he's busy working on a project of his, and somebody enters either location while he's in there, he will start off by gently suggesting that he be left be, before quickly turning colder and brasher as time progresses. In public, however, his disdain for others is hidden behind a mask of indifference. No less, there are few individuals he does get along with, such as his meister (albeit, just barely, he doesn't exactly enjoy her eagerness to fight or cause excitement), and the one or two individuals he does deem to be his friends. No less, he is always eager to help if need be, and will do what he can to assist others. After all, that's why he makes stuff.

History: Niles never really knew he was a weapon until he began going to school. His intellect made him a target for bullies, which lead to him getting beaten up. A lot. It was this that triggered his first partial transformation, when he mistakenly cut off one of the bullies' arms in an act of self defense. Deemed as a threat, he was shunned by his peers and teachers alike. He was forbidden from participating in any extracurricular activities or events, despite proving to be one of the most intelligent students the school has ever had. Having had enough of this, Niles began tinkering to get his mind off of the stigma the school had slapped upon his forehead for all to see. He spent most of his life thus far doing this, spending every free waking hour he could on trying to redeem himself for his mistake. Then came a man who had heard of the incident, and told him about a school for people who have had similar experiences: the Death Weapon Meister Academy.
