Let greatness begin! (Beryl and I)

Natalie pulled her legs back down into a defensive stance, giving the weapon an opportunity to strike.

Nick took a moment to regain his composure, Huh, I guess she's pretty good, but this test isn't over, the weapon thought. Nick let out a determined war cry before rushing towards Marceline, and when he got near her, he went into a kick boxing position, before aiming to knee the meister in the side.

Marceline quickly grabbed a hold of his ankle, tossing it back to try and throw him off balance.

Nick blinked a bit when his ankle was grabbed, and then let out a small yelp as he fell over, Alright, she's really good..., the black haired teen thought to himself, however, he quickly got up, with a determined look on his face "I'm not gonna give up that easily!" He proclaimed enthusiastically. It seemed as if Nick was just going to keep challenging her no matter how many times Marceline knocked him down.

Marceline laughed, keeping her defensive stance, "We'll see, hot shot."

Nick rolled his neck a bit before rushing at Marceline again, but instead of aiming for a high blow, he ducked down and aimed a elbow at her knee.

Marceline side-stepped, his elbow just barely grazing her, "You're fast, aren't you?" she mused.

Nick rolled backwards and went back to a fighting stance, merely grinning at Marceline when she spoke, I need to get her down somehow...., he thought. Nick, having no ideas at the time,  signals Marceline to come at him, with a challenging look on his face.

Marceline quickly shifted into an offensive stance, whirling one kick after another in rapid succession.

Nick got kicked in the nose and he stumbled backwards, blood coming from his nose. The black haired weapon hissed in pain, but he didn't want to ruin his many stature, so he glared at Marceline, but of course it only lasted for a second before Marceline kicked again, this time Nick was a bit more prepared. The weapon blocked a kick with his arm, scraping his mind for an idea when it suddenly acame to him. The next kick, Nick didn't dodge the kick to his face, instead he let it hit his face, but he grabbed her ankle and bit into it with his teeth, a pretty desperate plan rareally.

Marceline yelped, pulling her ankle back and then laughing, "Tenacious, huh? You don't go down easy."

Nick grinned "Takes alot to put me down, that's just the type of great guy I am" the eweapon said with determination, however, Nick was feeling tired and didn't know ohe much longer the fight would last, But I'll stay in this fight as olong as I can!, Nick thought, rushing towards Marceline again.

Marceline didn't move, quickly shifting her stance and meeting his charge with a firm, flat-palmed strike. Her soul wavelength shot through her arm like electric, the sparks traveling along her skin, waiting to destabilize his wavelength at impact.

When Marceline made contact, Nick's eyes went wide as pain shot through his body, the weapon fell to the ground like a rock.

Marceline stepped back, giving a slight bow, "Wavelength strike. I told you, I'm the best. How many meisters can beat a weapon?"

Nick staggers to his feet, coughing, "Oh geez...That freaking hurt..." He rasped weakly.

Marceline laughed, "Yeah, it'll sting for a bit. Shake it out some, helps it burn less." she raised a brow, watching him stammer, "You know, that usually knocks people out for a bit. Color me impressed. What did you say your name was again?"

Nick gave Marceline a weak grin "Nick Ferrari" he said, adding a thumbs up as well, he didn't want to seem TOO winded.

"Who's your meister?" She asked, one hand on her hip as she looked him over.

Nick rubbed the back of his neck "Well, no..I haven't found anyone who's fit to be my meister" get said.

Marceline nodded along, looking him over, "What's your weapon form? Got anything special?"

Nick grinned "I can turn into a badass dagger with badass abilities" the weapon said, Thiugh you probably won't be able to access these bad ass powers without getting into a serious fightthough..., Nick thought to himself.

Marceline waved her hand, a "go on" gesture, "I like details, Nick. Out with them."

"Well, in battle, my weapon form can use the blood spilled to make a claw" Nick explained, he hopped that alot of blood didn't make the meister squeamish, because that's what it would take to make the ability work.

Marceline nodded along, unphased, "Like over your meister's hand? Or like... up from the ground?" she asked.
