The Thread That Never Died....

Estoc called back to the conversation, not remembering him say anything of the sort. She just nodded silently, then went back to the cube.

He sighed and tended to Marcey, keeping her close

Estoc stood there for a little bit, then spoke up.

Estoc: So how come she lived in the ally instead of your house then?

"She lived in an alley?"

Estoc: Yeah, she did before she became my meister. I'm sorry, I thought you knew.

Marcus grew quiet

Estoc: Well, at least she doesn't now. That must mean something, right?

He sighed

Estoc: I'm sorry, I should have kept my mouth shut.

"I-It's fine..."

Estoc: No, I'm going around talking about her personal life, and you barely know anything about me.

He sighed

Estoc looked at the ground, starting to feel really guilty.

Macus sighed and fell asleep

Estoc looked up and smiled. She went to her room and got her blanket, bringing it back for Marcus. She laid it on him, then hoped he didn't mind a pink blanket on him. She went to the living room, and fell asleep on the couch.

A week later Marcey walked into the living room

Estoc was doing laundry when she saw Marcey. She nodded, then continued her work.

Marcus hugged Marcey "I'm glad you're better my love"

Estoc started making a kissy face at them, trying to annoy and/or agitate them.

Marcus threw a water balloon at her "Shut it"

Estoc stared at him for a couple of seconds, very annoyed.

Estoc: Where did you get that from? Wait, did you two plan this?

She eyed the two suspiciously.

"No, but you are very annoying" Marcus said

Estoc: But if I don't be annoying how else will I have fun?

They glared at her

Estoc: Glare at me all you want, you got Marceys' shirts wet. So there, ha.
