Animal Form: Ebony turns into a man-sized owl that wears the outer cloak that he does normally around it's neck. Can also turn into other similar types of birds of various shapes and sizes, but always wears the same cloak.

Love Interest:

Appearance: Always wears a black cloak over his black robes. The robes are loosest around the upper arms but the lower arms have black tight-fitting gloves over them that end in pointed fingers. The lower robes go down to his ankles with his black shoes sticking out, making it seem like he sometimes merges with the ground. In the front, his outer cloak is usually tied around his neck and covers a good portion of his upper body as it splits, reaching around halfway down his lower legs in the back at a point. The front of his robes has a large fabric sash with dark purple markings on it going down into a light-black belt and continuint to his knees.

Ebony's head is covered in a particular mask/headdress. The entire thing is black and goes down to his collar. The front of it is a specially made white mask made to look like a white owl's face with two black eyes and a beak hiding all emotion. A third of the way around his head in either direction is an identical mask.

While he doesn't move around much in combat, Ebony's body is pretty physically muscled and his torso seems to widen around his shoulders.... Making him an intemidating-looking figure at closer distances.

Personality: Ebony spent the first part of his life learning and aquiring knolage. For a while he intended to blend in with upper society but was, for some reason, forced to change his plans. He enjoys most of the finer luxuries and is really well educated, but still maintains himself as a formidible opponent. Ever since using his own mind as a conduit to keep his younger brother's mind under control, Ebony has develouped mild schitzophrenia. Mainly effecting his magical abilities and some decisions.

History: Once in the past there was a great witch who lived for several hundred years. Eventually, she grew old of a life of solitude and decided to dissapear from the order to settle down. Paranoid about the DWMA and witches who would dislike her leaving the order, she disguised herself as a much younger person and traveled the world in search of someone who could fight for themself, should they ever need to. Eventually marrying a man who claimed to be a distand decendent of the Star Clan....

A few years later, she died in childbirth after having her second son. The brothers grew up away from Death City for 16 years before finally deciding to kill off thier father when he refused to train them. They immediatly took seperate mindsets on what to do afterwords.

The younger brother was reckless, following his father, and wanted to live up to his mothers expectations. He was verry paranoid and became haunted by visions of what they had done. The fear of being killed himself gave him a hunger for power that could not be satisfied. He left in hopes of mastering the power of madness itself, only to be taken over by it and become an embodyment for his own madness.

Meanwhile, the older brother stayed at home and practiced his own magic. He was patient, wise, calculating... following the path of a true master of magic. Over the years, his power and reserch grew until finally his brother returned a horrible mess of a man. Using his powers, the elder brother silenced his younger sibling and casted a spell to keep his madness under control.... While the younger brother used his own power to try and keep the elder sibling under his control.

Eventually, the two linked minds but the elder sibling won dominance. He was, however, overcome with the feelings of madness, paranoia, and greed that his brother was and understood what he had to do. And so, with a new plan in mind, the two began to work to capture and store as many souls as possible so that they could eventually create a Kishin and finally shed thier distrust of the DWMA and the order of the witch........

Miscellaneous: After experimenting with Black Blood on his own for several years, Ebony managed to figure out a way to turn it into a wearable fabric. He wears a sample he made after months of work as his outer robe. It has no offensive properties... however, it can still harden and provide a good shield for most attacks. If you want to do damage, it's practically required that you have a way to power through it or get around it since, as it's a worn material, soul purge is not highly effective against it.....

As for offense, he channels his father's heratage from the Star Clan through his magic to control Shadow Star with supprising ease. However, ever since his mind was split by his brother, he has been forced to store the seperate styles of techniques in seperate parts of his brain that can only be accessed when he is in a specific personallity state. To change states, his neck twists radically to the left or right and a seperate one of his masks takes over the forward-looking position. Each altered state uses the shadows to see.

When he is in his normal state, he uses neutral Shadow Magic, which requires forming tendrils out of his own shadow to strike and impale with.

When his head is twisted to the left and his right mask is forward, he goes into a positive state for using Shadow Magic. In this state, he sees from someone else's shadow and can form complex objects such as arms, hands, and beings to attack with. However, they only last as long as they are in the same position in the shadow, meaning the techinque is useless as long as they keep moving, but is still a good way to keep them under constant pressure.

When his head twists to the right and his left mask is facing forwars, Ebony goes into a negative state for using Shadow Magic. He sees out of his own shadow and can use the shadows below him to slip through and come out through a different shadow. If the shadow moves, he will be forced to come out at a different shadow somewhere in the world and will be forced back down if he is partway through. But he cannot do this if his own shadow is in motion.......
