When Poles collide

Starr was sitting on a park bench, watching the birds fly by. She looked around to make sure no one was looking. She whistled, and a black bird flew on her arm. She was pet the bird for a little bit, then she let it fly off. Observing the people in the park, she noticed all of the different meisters and weapons walking around. She got up and brushed some dirt that had accumulated on her leg. She then left to go to her next destination.

Walking threw town, she kept her head down, trying to remain unnoticed by the civilians around her. Walking into the market street, she walked up to a stall selling candy. She pointed at the lollipop, one of those big ones that no one can ever fit into there mouth. She took off the plastic wrapping and started licking it.

Kataro walked up to the candy shop next to this girl. Then he bought himself some gum. He popped a piece gum in his mouth and looked at this girl. "..... Um.... Hi!" He said while smiling.

Starr looked down at the ground, scared to meet the man who walked next to her.

Starr: . . . Hi . . . I-I'm Starr. . .

Two little girls ran up behind star. "Hi! I'm Mira and this is my sister Tira! Would you buy us some candy!?" The two little girls had innocent written all over them. Their big eyes started right into stars with a look of desperation.

Starr looked left and right, and turned around. She bought them some bags of chocolate and handed it to them.

Tira and Mira giggled. Then they skipped away. Kataro turned to star and smiled. "That was a nice gesture."

Starr held her hands together as her face when a nice shade of bright red. She started fidgeting around, looking at the man's feet.

Starr: T-Thank you M-M-Mr. . . uh. . . sir. . .

"Sorry for not introducing myself. I'm Kataro Hattori. It's nice to meet you." Kataro smiled as he held out his hand.

She nodded, and grabbed his hand to shake it. She started licking her Lollipop again, and made a light humming noise, and smiled.

"STTTTTTTTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!"

Out of nowhere a voice shouted with the shrill girliness. Arms wrapped around her partner and soon Ana had pulled the woman back into her chest. "STTAARRR!" As if she hadn't heard the first time, Ana made sure to call her name twice. A neverending smile spread on her lips with the ditsy look she always had, however it faded in a moment. There was a pout on her lips that could only be explained through one thing.

"You bought candy?! And didn't get me anyyyy?" Obviously distraught, she huffed and threw herself on the ground. "I feel like you don't care anymore! I mean who gets candy and doesn't shaarrree?"

The emotion fell away the instance she saw the other person there. Her body leaned forward and Ana not only greeted him with a smile, but also tugged the man into a hug (or attempted to). "OH NEW FRIEND! HELLO!" It would be a second later that she twirled and giggled. "Allow me to introduce myself! I'm Ana-Lee Lorenz and I love candy~! Not as much as ice cream though! Oh-oh! Starrrrrrr can we go get ice cream? Can we pleeeeeaassee?"

Starr's was dizzy and walking aimlessly after her partner treating her like a doll. She shook her head and walked over to Ana-Lee.

Starr: Y-Your sister said n-not to have t-t-to many sweets.

Kataro fell into a hug suddenly. He had no idea who this girl was but she obviously wasn't harmful. So he hugged her back and laughed. "Hello Ana-Lee Lorenz! I'm Kataro Hattori. It's nice to meet you." Kataro smiled as he pulled away.

Your sister said-

"Oh phooey on her!" Ana was pouting again. Of course even when she wasn't here, Ami said no candies. Her arms crossed beneath her chest and she flopped onto the ground. "I'm not THAT bad. I haven't had sugar in THREE WHOLE HOURS!" Suddenly she was clinging onto Starr's leg. "IT'S BEEN HORRIBLE STARR. I THINK I'M DYYYIINNNGG!" Of course she wasn't, she just wanted candy and that was obvious to anyone in the area. It was a dramatic thing, but it was all Ana. Without her sister around, she could beg people for candy all she wanted.

"Nice to meet you too!" She smiled at him and began stripping off her shoes and socks one by one. "Hee~ Do you go to school, too?"

Once her legs were bare, Ana deemed herself free enough to hop to her feet. "I haven't seen you around here before. We should get ice cream sometime!" Her eyes went back to Starr as if she were about to beg once more, however she kept herself in check for once. "Anyways! What are you guys doing? Is it fun? Ohpleasetellmeit'sfun!" As she spoke the last sentence, it was hard to tell if she had even breathed because where one word ended it blurred into the next.

Starr stood there, trying to muster up some words to say, but couldn't fine anything. People were starting to stare, and she backed up. Eventually, a crowd formed around her, and she started to walk back home.
