Hanging out in the city. Open

Lynx's attitude has dropped, he became sad as his past came back to him. "Where I lived........ Yeah........" It came back to him, his past haunted him. How his sister was taken away and he was all alone. All Lynx did was just sit back, zoned out into his mind. Not even etching to take a small bite off another slice.

DJ frowned as the Lynx zoned out. "Did I say something wrong?" He asked remembering that a lot of people in Death City had rough pasts. It wasn't a great idea to mention others lives beyond what you already knew.

"No, it's- it's fine......... Just a rough past, mate......" Lynx had a tear go down his eye but he quickly wipes it off. Then he gorges down on the pizza, relentlessly eating every slice before DJ can get a second slice. His stomach was no longer growling but a pain was aching in his heart, his sister was the only thing on his mind.

DJ had only finished his first slice but the pizza was already gone. He hadn't really been that hungery anyway. Plus Lynx needed it more. He looked sad and distant at the moment. "Come on. Cheer up. Whatever it is it's not worth beating yourself up. You may even be able to fix it depending on the problem." DJ said with a smile. He didn't like to see his friends, old or new, sad.

"It's my sister...... A while ago she was taken back home in Europe and punished by my dick-ish family. And I was to weak myself to try and save her....... I want my sister back, I feel hopeless without her........" The past caught up with him as he sat at the table, remembering that cold and bitter day he lost her.

DJ sighed. "Hopelessness only gets to you when you've actually lost hope. If she's still alive then maybe we can find her?" He said sympatheticly as he looked around and quickly adding. "I'd offer to help but without a meister I'm pretty useless."

"And without a weapon, I am pretty useless, mate...." Lynx spoke in a tone of disbelief as he kept remembering how his sister always taking care of him. But he wanted to pay her back for all she risked for him, Lynx now needed to get his sister back. "Would you care to be my weapon, DJ the Bass Cannon?"

DJ grinned, "You bet." He replied in an upbeat tone before realizing something. His smile dropped to a plain face. They had never discovered weather or not they could resonate. "Can we just decide that though? Shouldn't we test it first?" He asked puzzled.

Lynx looked to him, he was confused on what DJ was referring to. But then it hit him, he learned this in one of his classes in the Academy, even though he wasn't good at paying attention. "Whenever your ready to try, feel free, mate."

DJ grinned and thought of everything that could happen. He hadn't transformed in awhile so he had to think for a moment. After about a minute he held out his hand. "Let's see if I remember how to do this." He laughed hoping he hadn't really forgotten.

"Um, now I forget how to do this as well." Lynx was now lost, he had forgotten in an instant on how to show soul resonance. But he held out his hand as well to see what would happen.

DJ did the only thing he knew to do at this point. He took Lynx's hand and transformed. In a few moments he was a large blue canon, shining in the light from the window. The stripes on either side glowed a bright blue light as the canon sat on Lynx's shoulder. "If we couldn't resonate I'm pretty sure I would have crushed your shoulder by now." DJ's voice said from the inside of the canon.

Lynx held the cannon like it was no problem. His soul resonated with DJ's as the cannon was making random beats within it. "So, how do I fire you?" Lynx asked in an eager tone. He sounded anticipated to fire such a unique weapon.

DJ laughed. "Well first you get out of the building. Cuz' that could go really bad." He said jokingly. "Then you hold down the trigger for as long as you want the blast to last." He continued as he pulled the headphones over his ears in the dark space.

Lynx ran out of the building onto the streets, searching for a good place to fire the gun. But he was still confused as to how the gun will work. "Say, how does this gun work?"

"Well I compress your soul wavelength like most gun-type weapons. But I can mix the bass from the music I'm listening to with the canon. It not only adds the sound but short bursts of power too." He explained.

"Holy shit, that is awesome. So where can I test this out?" The more he waited the more he was eager to fire the bass cannon. How exciting this sounded and how much he wanted to fire the cannon was getting to his head.

"The street should be long enough. If you fire down it now nobody should be in the way." He told Lynx laughing at the eagerness in his voice.

"THEN LETS GET THIS SHOW ON THE ROAD THEN, MATE!" Lynx points the gun down the road and charges the bass cannon. After 10 seconds, if fires with an extremely strong bass line, damaging the road ahead.

A large blue beam with periodic bursts of power tore down the road. "Maybe I don't know my own streangth..." DJ said surprised. He transformed next to Lynx. "We should run?" He advised.

"Yeah.........." Lynx held the bass cannon and ran off as fast as he could go. At least the good thing about Lynx was that he was fast as hell and didn't stop for anyone. He at least made it to the park him and DJ were at earlier. The young man was exhausted as hell, inhaling and exhaling heavily.

"You gunna be alright?" DJ asked jokingly as Lynx breathed heavily. He was a fast runner alright. Just the fact he could run with a cannon made him a good choice in meister.

"Yeah.... Yeah, I just need to catch my breath." Lynx sounded exhausted but at the same time he was happy. Never had he even heard of a bass cannon, he was sure as hell he has one. But since he finally can use a weapon that uses music, he was going to have a little fun while working. "So, what the bloody hell are we going to do now?"

DJ laughed. "I have no idea. We could head over to the training grounds?" He suggested hoping to see how efective of a weapon he was.

"Where the bloody hell is that?" Lynx wasn't much of a navigator, really. Not much is known to Lynx since he doesn't really know where to go, he just wanders around half of the time. The other half he just sits around and does nothing but listen to music. Either way, Lynx doesn't know where to go until he gets frustrated enough to ask someone for help.
