Resuming his Duties (Open)

Sylas headed to his classroom in the early hours of the morning, a laptop bag slung over his shoulder. He unlocked the doors and headed to the desk, pulling his laptop out and starting it up. He took a seat, browsing the interwebs until students started to arrive.

The young girl stepped into the clasroom with a proud grin on her face as her fingers ran along the doors bronze numbers. "Yes, found it on my own~" she cheered triumphantly to herself, walking inside of the class with a small skip in her step, only to stumble over her feet. She yelped and failed to catch herself, binder slipping out of her hands and papers with her notes in braille scattering the floor. She sighed, shaking her head at herself, trying to grope for the fallen papers. "So close." she muttered, lips pursed in a small pout.

Sylas looks over at her, his hair falling in front of his wire-frame glasses. He smiles a bit, standing and walking over to help her. "Relax, I'll help you..."

Ayoko walks down the hallways, letting her greyish hair bounce up and down with each step. "I can't wait to see my favorite teacher again!" She squeaks, smiling like a kid who just heard she was able to visit a toy story. "I wonder if he changed at all..." Despite how curious she was about this question, she just dismisses it and pushes open the door. "Good morning sir! I'm ready to learn some knowledge from you once more!"
She stops though, noticing someone tripped and fell right before her. "Oh, did I cause this?" Ayoko asks, helping the student up. "I'm extremely sorry if I did."

Sylas looks up, smiling a bit. "Hello Ayoko...No, I believe this was a random occurence..." He picks up the last of the papers, stacking them neatly and placing them in the girl's hand. "There you are..."

Jet is walking down the hallway he felt like he should say hi to Sylas after not seeing him for so long and either way he felt like thanking him again

Hearing a pair of voices, THadea squeaked and jolted up and waved her hands, laughing nervously, "No no, I got it I swear! My fault, I can handle it!" she tried to assure, then spinned her head towards Ayoko, shaking her head vigorously again. "I-I'm just clumsy, sorry..." she laughed again. When handed the papers, Thadea sighed but gave a grateful smiling, also to be sure to keep her lids closed and conceal her white hues, bowing her head apologetically and taking the papers of braille. "Ah, yeah, thanks.." she mumbled rather quietly, stuffing the papers in her binder which proved to be very unorganized.

Sylas chuckles softly, shaking his head. "Don't worry about it. It's what a teacher is supposed to do..."

As quick as she could, Ayoko zooms over to her usual seat and takes out all of her books and supplies. "I can't wait for class to begin!" Her voice was full of excitement, and a hint of nervousness. The thought of learning from one of her favorite teachers just brought a smile to her face, like usual.

Sylas sighs a bit, running a hand through his hair. He heads back to his chair, playing with his laptop again.

Thadea squeaked again, "W-Wha... T-Teacher?" she laughed nervously, "S-Sorry, I didn't know I uh-" she cleared her throat, beaming to Sylas brightly, "I'm Thadea Solray, sir! Where do I sit?" she giggled.

Sylas looks up from his desk. "Do you need to be guided to your seat? If not, you're in the first row, in the chair closest to the door..."

Thadea grinned, saluting and shaking her head. "No way, I can do it!" she chirped, pausing and processing. Okay, the door is back there so.... she slowly turned on her heel toward the door, marching forward a few steps. She paused to touch the wall in front of her, then moved it about to her right until she would feel for the wall until she bumped into a desk or chair.

Totally unaware there was the small flight of stairs she had to take.

Sylas watches her. "Thadea, there's a small step you'll need to take, and the desk is just on long table that all the students share. Be careful!"

She froze and laughed nervously, dropping her head down in shame. "Um, right...." she said in an embarrassed voice, turning back around and dragging her hand along the tall desk when walking back, her foot hitting the first step for her to climb up. She bit her lip, counting in her head the amount for the first steps stopping when she made the first flight and stepped to the left. She grinned proudly, making it to the end and plopping in the chair, only to miss it and plop on the floor. "Whoops." she sighed, standing up with a flush and carefully sitting back in the chair again.

Jet opens the dor and stick his head in "Sylas you here?"

Sylas waves from his desk, absorbed by his laptop. "Hey...."

Jet walks over and says "Sulas I forgot to say this but Thanks for saving my ass in antarctica."

Sylas nods, only half paying attention. "Sure thing..."

"That is all peace." With that Jet walks out of the room

Thadea raised her brows amusedly at the small encounter, listening to the two. As Jet left, she faced toward her teacher, "You saved his life, huh?" she grinned, "Wow... That's amazing!" she chimed happily.

Sylas sighs softly, closing his laptop. "It was a long time ago, and I've done a lot of bad things since then...."

The girl was taken back by the comment, but thought to herself a moment, scratching her nose. "I'm sure that's not true, sir." she retorted politely, "After all, you're a teacher here at DWMA. You care for us students and want to help us, so you can't be bad at all!" she chirped, tilting her head at him.

Sylas pulls off his glasses, rubbing his eyes. "You're new. You wouldn't know the story..."

Thadea couldn't hold in her laughs, swinging her feet as she sat on the edge of her seat. "I don't need to." she hummed, "You don't either, because it's now that's what matters, right?"
