I'll be honest, I don't entirely hate rap. I hate most rap, but there are a few songs that I actually don't mind. Though it's not a good example, Thrift Shop is one of the best songs that I listen to for just a good laugh. Though I personally prefer dubstep, japanese, and alternative music.
