Weapon Form: Aika's weapon form is called the Chains of Andromeda and comprise of chain links woven around each other. It is an odd weapon type but it ties into her nature, they are unique in appearance being black with red inscriptions on every fifth link however unknown to most her weapon form is actually incomplete. Her weapon form in actuality uses chains as the focal point for her varying forms and as she grows and experiences combat she has the potential to obtain other forms, it is something she inherited from her mother's side of the family her mom personally only obtaining one extra form namely a Flail. Gaining additional forms is actually rather difficult and other than consuming other weapon souls something which is forbidden in her family the only time they gain an additional form is when they become a Death Scythe.

Consuming weapon souls triggers an assimilation process mainly revolving around the incorporation of a weapon and mixing it in with the chains the form the core of her weapon form. To initiate it requires the consumption of multiple weapons of a certain type however in total she will only ever obtain three variants of the chains which completely depend on what she consumes. The process of manifesting these weapons can be accelerated by the consumption of human souls however it like the consumption of other weapons to facilitate growth is frowned upon. Regardless of this upon becoming a Death Scythe one of these three forms will be obtained and is able to be used interchangeably with the basic chain form.

Bladed Weapon Souls - Results in the chain links which incorporate her form becoming jagged and bladed slicing flesh if it is ensnared within them and pulled taut.

Blunt Weapon Souls - Results in two blunt objects gradually manifesting at the end of the chains ranging from something as simple as a hammer to being more complex like her mothers form; spiked flails.

Projectile Weapon Souls - Results in two objects likewise manifesting at the end of the chains varying on what is consumed piercing projectiles usually form into needles or edges something reminiscent of a chain-sickle or two metal spikes interconnected with a chain.


Love Interest: Aika has no one, though let it not be said she isn't looking, she isn't really concerned with gender as she views it as something as an added trait to a person similar to how she can turn into something which was typically used to hold prisoners. Her sexual orientation is her own and does not fall under a category and changes on her whim as she can be attracted to a buxom girl or a monstrous Kishin it merely depends if she can find a trait within them that she likes. She isn't one for long term relationships nor does she believe in the idea of love, crushes and lust being the primary motivators for her seeking out suitors and when she is over them she drops them without a second thought.

Appearance: Aika is some what short standing at about five foot three, however she is of an athletic build and is very flexible due to being a cheerleader and dancer for most of her life. She has long flowing, golden blond hair, extending down to her waist, which was inherited from her mother while her eyes, facial structure came from her father. Luckily for her he was something of a girly looking boy so she doesn't suffer from looking to masculine but some might call her pretty. Her skin is more of an light olive and is another trait she inherited from her mother as she is of Greek and Japanese heritage however that combined with her father a unique combination of Aztec and French she as a uniquely blended light skin tone. Her athletic build isn't just for show as her body has slight but toned muscles and she has to qualms with showing it off as she has the faint makings of a six pack if she focuses on flexing.  

She usually wears bright yellows contrasted with blacks and favors off the shoulder tops, bikini tops with open jackets and occasionally just sleeveless jackets. However she typically resews her own clothing the common look being a loose look and the middle to lower sections of the tops or jackets are cut in a reverse V showing off some of her chest while revealing her stomach. She doesn't like bra's, they are restrictive, however she will bind her chest with black bandages when she knows she is going into combat. Luckily her chest isn't over developed that wearing that specific article of clothing is a necessity though some might consider it small she's fine with what she has.

For bottoms she is almost always wearing a loose shirt which typically stops right at her hips and under she usually wears bikini bottoms, thongs and on the rare occasion g-strings it is more of what type of mood she is in when she is formulating her outfit but she prefers her legs being free. She prefers to wear heeled boots varying from ankle heel to knee high depending on the weather, if its really cold she'll wear fishnet leggings but she hates being cold and cold weather and takes great lengths to avoid it when possible. Her boots follow her outfit usually being black with yellow high lights however sometimes she has the reverse but prefers to wear those on really nice days.

For accessories she wears thin black bangles on her wrists and sometimes she wears arm bands which resemble her bangles on her biceps or shoulders. She has both of her ears pierced but rarely wear any earrings other than studs and she has her tongue and nipples pierced as well. She only has three tattoos the first being " La vie est un voyage périlleux pour ceux qui vivent dans la peur, et une aventure merveilleuse pour ceux qui vivent sans elle." which means "Life is a treacherous journey for those who live in fear, and a wondrous adventure for those who live with out it" and it is written on her upper back. The second is an ornate picture of a wilted rose on her mid back with its petals falling down to her lower back and one being on her left butt cheek. The third tattoo is on her upper chest and covers her left beast depicting her innards however in place of a heart there is just a gaping hole.

Personality: Aika is somewhat complex due to numerous events in her life leading her to develop a personality she deems as acceptable in public, one she has developed for those close to her and her actual personality which is usually dormant unless high stress situations bring it out. She has something similar to multiple personality disorder on the surface level but in actuality the first two personalities are fake ones created as a shell to hide what she really feels.

Aika is whimsical, playful and fun loving, quick to engage others in conversation and has a bubbly happy go lucky personality. This was developed as a way to express herself after she rebelled against her parents and the "preferred" way of acting in public. Intertwined with that is her ability easily forgive those and accept them as friends despite what they have done to her previously, she doesn't keep grudges and tries to understand everyone and how they came to be, as well as what drives their motivations. This personality was created out of what would be the perfect "nice girl" archetype to help her fit in more and be easily liked wherever she goes.

When one get's to know Aika however they'll find out that she is actually rather serious hiding what she really feels in the actions of a happy person while she isn't all that happy. She is a pathological liar and has a good tell on others emotions which allows her to adapt to saying and acting how they would prefer she acted. This was her main personality which was created due to her domineering home life, she was told what to say, how to act, what to like and what to dislike and never truly got to be herself because of that she does not have a fixed morality shifting depending on where she is and who she is with.

Aika's true personality is extremely self gratifying, one of the base things revolving around her personality is that it is selfish caring primarily about her well being and as long as someone makes her happy or occupies her interest she will pander to their wishes. The moment that changes she becomes apathetic to their plight and her apathetic nature stems from her realizing at a very young age that the world is filled with billions of people, meaning that individuals are in actuality not unique or irreplaceable as their are numerous other options if one goes around looking for them. She has no appreciation for things of worth, sentiment nor does she appreciate the bonds between friends or family, she isn't malicious however she is likewise not kind. Every action she does is simply because she wants to at that time, and morality factors not into her actions nor do consequences faze her. Her views on innocence and corruption are the same and her main driving focus is that everything that is, can be replaced with something else.

At her core she is afraid of being replaced and that drives her to keep others at a distance emotionally which was the reason for the tattoo on her chest, this fear motivates her to act in the moment regardless of the consequences and ramifications of her actions and she has no concept of the value of others beyond herself.

History: Aika was born to a Jacques Aegis and a Tomoka Arashi, at five minutes to midnight on December 31st in Paris, France. The day itself was frigid even for winter and broke the previous record at -18 degrees, Aika was born prematurely and luckily managed to survive due to the extensive medical care her father could afford. Her father a was a rather wealthy Marquis who managed to procure for himself a wife from Japan during one of his vacationing trips. The fell in love rather quickly her mother Tomoka was the daughter of a retired samurai their family actually being a line of weapons. Her father who did not know this at the time fell head over heels and stole her mother away without the blessings of her grandfather who was very much opposed to his only daughter marrying a foreigner, as hypocritical as he was considering her grandmother was a Greek Missionary who had died during childbirth. Because of this Aika knows very little of her mothers side of the family and was raised in Paris on her fathers estate.

From a very young age she was cultured to be a "proper" noble and taught edict, manners and how to act during public occasions and the like, her mother had very little say in the way she was raised mainly because she spoke very little french other than a couple of sayings here and there this led her to be rather distant from her mother as they rarely interacted during her childhood. Her father was likewise cold, mainly due to growing up as an illegitimate child fostered from one of Aika's grandfathers flings while visiting South America. He could no afford to be anything but a proper noble as he was the only male child his father sired and Aika grew up well taken care for however without the love and nuture of her parents.

She did have care in terms of maids but they were a rotating cast due to her father's philandering ways as he quickly lost interest in them once he had them before firing them and getting a new one to satisfy his yearnings. Her mother was surprisingly resigned to this and during the time Aika knew her she had never known what her mother actually thought about her family and whether she regretted not listening to her grandfather. Her mother eventually became sick with tuberculosis and passed away sometime around Aika's fifteenth birthday and her father remarried a year later this time to a french widow in an attempt to compound his already impressive wealth.

This was around the time she grew apathetic to the plights of her family and was the final break which spurned her leaving her wealth and splendor to live on the streets taking care of herself. Before she left she stumbled upon her mothers dairy which was converted into french something she had requested a couple of the bilingual maids to transcribe for her to leave something of worth to her daughter. It revealed Aika's gift or curse depending on how one looked at it and how to control it initially, the remaining parts were to seek out her father in japan and if that wasn't possible to head to death city to be with people like herself. The journey itself took a while considering she spent a while in Paris exploring on her own and testing out her...gift against those who tried to harm her. It was for this reason she took to wearing provocative outfits to entice those of less than noble intentions to try and harm her and she could use them to refine her combat skills. Eventually when she reached a limit that she couldn't grow anymore she decided to head to Japan, her grandfather had passed away five years prior however she was allowed to enter his estate and learn about her gift which apparently was called the "Chains of Andromeda".

Seeing as there was nothing else for her there she set out for Death City for new things to occupy her interest. She has no goals or future plans, she mainly lives simply to enjoy her life as long as she can, and harness her gift to its fullest potential no matter the consequences or depths she would have to go to obtain it. After all, her happiness is the most important thing to her, and for now she is highly interested in seeing just how powerful her gift can get..

Miscellaneous: Aika has a severe disdain for cold, be it the state in which she herself is cold, the weather itself being cold and even cold foods. She avoids them like the plague and when she was younger would completely refuse to leave her house if it was cold outside. Now she stays away from cold things and avoids them if she can even if it is inconvenient as long as it isn't completely necessary. In dire situations or if she is forced into a situation that she has to deal with cold objects she completely abandons her happy go lucky personality in favor of her true personality becoming somber and antagonistic to whomever put her in the situation. Perhaps the easiest way to upset her is to put her in a situation where she is cold and she usually violently reacts to such things and will try to remove herself from the situation if possible.
