Appearance: Shiro has rather handsome features. Standing at 6ft 8in tall and weighing at 175 lbs, he has smooth, lightly tanned skin with no visible marking when clothed, barring his missing arm. Shiro has a very large scar spanning from the right side of his neck down to just above his waist, the result of he same attack that took his arm. He has spiky white hair and light gray eyes with a red pentagram tattoo above his left eye with a line running down across his eye, reaching down most of his face and ending on his chin. He has a fairly muscular yet lean body and a slightly pointed chin. His eyes are slightly wider than normal, not enough to be noticeable, but still wider than normal. He has slightly longer canines than normal along with slightly long, pointed fingernails. He has a circle-encompassed black cross tattoo in place of where his left arm was.

Personality: Shiro has a rather unique personality. He is often seen as a, in the words of one of his classmates, "a cold, unfeeling bastard." He often doesn't show  very much emotion, if any, to anybody other than his partner and long-time friend (and crush) Thalassa. When angry, Shiro often shows a more... calm form of anger That is, if you can call destroying everything in sight with an emotionless face calm. Oftentimes, Thalassa is the only one able to calm him down. Shiro has extreme anxiety problems when Thalassa isn't nearby, often completely mentally collapsing until she is nearby again. This led to Shiro needing to sleep in Thalassa's bed with her, which they had done since childhood. Shiro is extremely distrustng of anybody other than Thalassa, and, despite their arguments, she is his entire world. Shiro loves cupcakes, brownies, pocky, and other sweet foods, along with honey. He despises the taste of apples, and hates cats.

History: Toryuu Shiro was born at around 3:13 a.m. on January 13th. He was born inside of his parent's house, a 2 story wood and stone house. His mother's name was Amatsu and his Father's name was Jeremiah. Amatsu was a seamstress working in Yorkshire while his father captained a merchant ship. Shiro was an only child growing up, and was relatively unspoiled. He had very few friends growing up, and he rarely left his room, worrying his parents.

However, when Shiro was about 4 years old, a little sister came into his life in the form of an abandoned child on their doorstep, Thalassa. She was 3 years old at the time, and very shy and mistrusting of him due to being left by her parents, whom they never found, but Shiro managed to befriend her and they have been inseperable ever since. One day when Shiro was about 8 years old, he and the 7 year-old Thalassa came home to see a Kishin Egg devouring his parents' souls. In his rage and Thalassa's horror, they found out that Thalassa was a weapon and he was a meister when Shiro, still holding Thalassa's dainty hand, accidentally willed Thalassa to transform, turning her into a massive sword that Shiro could easily wield, killing the Kishin egg. Due to her fear, Thalassa was trapped in the form for several days before she managed to transformed back. They lived in the house alone for about 6-7 years, Shiro supplying for them by dropipng out of school and taking multiple local jobs, such as baby-sitting and dog-walking. However, by the end or the 6-7 years, Kuro discovered what Thalassa's power was after extensive research, and they began the trek to the DWMA.

On the way to DWMA, Shiro and Thalassa were attacked. They were camping for the night, and, after another fight, Thalassa decided to go check if there were any Kishin Eggs anywhere near. While she was gone, a Kishin egg attacked the camp, severing Shiro's arm and giving him a massive scar across the chest until Thalassa returned and killed it. This caused Shiro to gain massive abandonment issues, as he thought that Thalassa abandoned him.

After the attack, Shiro and Thalassa arrived to DWMA within a few days, where Shiro began to endeavor to become accustomed to fighting with one arm, eventually becoming a master at one-handed swordsmanship.
