Appearance: 

Zeke is a smaller Male, often mistaken for a female for his soft skin, small frame, and soft face. He has a slight muscular build, but not much to really show. His hair is a light blue, Cyan color, that runs down to his neck. He styles his hair up in a literal half ponytail, one side of his hair being up in a pony tail. His eyes are almost the same shade of Cyan as his hair, unusually. He likes to dress semi formal, but casual enough to be comfortable wherever. His choice of Uniform was a striped dress shirt, black pants, a black tie, and an unfitting blue colored jacket. He sometimes just leaves the jacket out of the picture. Zeke stands at 70.5", and weighs 65.7 Kilograms.

Personality: 

Zeke has a wide range of layers to his personality. The outer layer is the layer he uses as a shell to push others away, while at the same time trying to make others feel welcome. His outer personality is cheerful, supporting, playful, immature, friendly, and sometimes over dramatic. He shows a smile, and hides what he truly feels. Once you get past the outer layer, he shows less of his caring-ness (It's a word now), and more of a bitter/serious tone. He becomes cocky, and sarcastic as well. Usually he shows this side when in battle, seriously insulted, or when someone he actually cares about is hurt. His inner, and deepest personality is more of a mix of the two, but includes a strong urge to protect others, though this is always present, but he tries to hide it. He only openly shows this trait to people who cant get much closer to him. Not many see that side of him being shown off, as he has deep fear of others becoming too close to him.

History: 

Zeke grew up in a moderately normal family. He was born in the states, then moved to Japan at the age of eight. His father was in the military, and when he was stationed in Yokota Air Force base in Fussa Japan. Zeke really didn't understand what his father did there, but he was unhappy with the move. He didnt want to go to a place where he did not understand what anyone else said, unfortunately, he didnt have a voice in the matter. His mother was sweet, but also very strict, once her mind was set on something, it was near impossible to change it. His father was hardly there, but when he was, Zeke enjoyed every moment of it. He was close to his older sister, since they were similar in age, but at the same time got into many physical fights. His younger brother was more of annoyance to him than anything else.

After moving to Japan, they enrolled into a near by public school. Zeke found it extremely difficult to fit in, he didnt understand Japanese, and he was harassed by other boys his age for his unusual style, and hair. His mother brushed it off as 'boys will be boys'. So all he could do at the time was deal with it, maybe hopefully find some allies. A few months afterwards, his mother signed him, and his siblings up for a martial arts class. He was against the idea in the beginning, but soon found joy in it. He saw it as something he could do for a long time. He was still horrible at japanese, but after starting those classes, he felt like he grew more, in a better way. He made friends in the class, some went to a different school, but he enjoyed them still. Zeke grew close to one friend, he could call his best friend, Hamasaki, Fumihiro. They were like two peas in a pod, and were friends going into middle school, and high school together. Zeke had other friends as well, but Fumihiro was the closest to him. In high school, Zeke joined the martial arts club, though he wasn't the best, he wasn't the worse either. By this time, Zeke was pretty fluent in Japanese. Though his western accent made it obvious japanese was not his main language. He did good in school though, the only subject he excelled on was science, but he still was not the best in that class either.

When Zeke was around fourteen, Fumihiro, and him took a day trip around the city. They wanted to go to the outskirts, explore the mountains, and just mess around on their day off. The day started out fun, breakfast in a local cafe, then they started walking around town, joking, and playing around. Though the day took a turn for the worse when a sudden accident happen, Zeke cant remember it well, but did remember a truck flipping over towards them, next thing he knows, he is waking up in the hospital a few days later. He was out of it for the first hour or so, as he couldn't remember much at all. He soon got word his friend did not survive the accident, and was the reason Zeke had survived it. After that, Zeke went into a depression, his grades dropped, and he just didn't try much anymore. This went on for a few months, until one of his Sensei snapped him out of it. His Sensei told him that his moodiness would affect everyone around him, and his friend would want him to be spreading Smiles, not frowns. At first Zeke brushed him off, but his Sensei was persistent. Soon that Sensei became his mentor, and taught him more advanced martial arts.

Zeke never fully healed after that, he was still sad about his friend passing, but he had learned to control his emotions better. He wanted to help people after all, and his sensei gave him a new goal in life. He had heard of DWMA from many sources. After a year of thought, he decided he wanted to become a meister. It sounded like a life of adventure, and thats what Fumihiro wanted, to live a life of adventure. So thats what Zeke started to train for. He wasn't sure what weapon he would end up with, but he wanted to be ready for that weapon. If he didn't know how to handle it, there would be no point at all in becoming a meister. He informed his parents of his plans, his father was for it, while his mother was more sentimental about it. They knew he wouldn't change his mind anyways, so she agreed. When Zeke turned sixteen, he enrolled in DWMA, and started his journey back to his home country.
