Visiting Death (Private Rackie, Flair, Arc)

Catherine Coon escorted Allelujah Haptism straight to the Academy. The witch was willing to support the death scythe during his visit in Shinigami's office, but she needed strong arguments in case things would get  uncomfortable. Her main argument was the fact that it was actually not Allelujah who caused the ruckus, but Hallelujah, his second personality. She bit her nail. Ms.Coon needed to be careful. After all, she was going to see her employer.

As they walked, Allelujah was quiet and seemed rather withdrawn. He kept looking at his feet and then to Catherine before looking back again. "You don't have to escort me from here, do you? Excuse me if I'm not overly eager to walk into the death room and possibly be incriminated by a witch that I've just met," he muttered, pushing the doors to the death room open regardless. Soon, the two were standing in front of the shinigami.

The Reaper turned from looking into the mirror in the middle of the space, turning instead to the new arrivals. Clapping his hands together gleefully, his cheerful voice piped up. "Hello, hi, hey'ya! Allelujah and Catherine Coon, how are you doing? Thanks for coming! What do you need?"

Shinigami's unusual behavior was always astonishing for Catherine. He was a powerful god of death, feared by the witches (including her), yet his behavior was unfitting his position. The witch bowed in front of her boss with respect (and fear), then she spoke: "Shinigami-sama, this Death Scythe has just experienced some troubles during his training session with a student. I am here just in case you need a witness, my Lord." Her voice was calm and serious. Catherine tried to keep her professional attitude. She wanted to prove Allelujah's innocence, in case Death wanted to punish the Death Scythe somehow.

Allelujah nodded in agreement. "I know you had allowed me to test my ability to keep Hallelujah at bay by taking over this class for the death scythe that has fallen ill. Unfortunately,I've found that Hallelujah is a force to be reckoned with. He took over during a fake fight and injured the student I was training before being confronted by Glyndwr Arget and Catherine along with a pupil of hers. I had been cut on the leg prior to Hallelujah's taking over and passed out due to blood loss. Ms. Coon healed me and has come with me to testify as she said,"

"I see, I see." Death said, hiding his hands away in his cloak and turning back to the mirror. "Then, I think you need a Meister go keep you in check! Somebody that can hold their own even against a Death Scythe."

The teacher sighed in relief, at least Death wasn't going to punish the Death Scythe. Catherine rubbed her chin lost in her thoughts. Who would be a perfect candidate for a meister for Allelujah? The witch had no idea! She had never held a demon weapon before. However, when she was a student, Ms.Coon learned that she would be able to wield a weapon. "Lord Death, would I be able to wield a Death Scythe?" Catherine suddenly asked

"If your souls don't reject each other, I don't see why not." Death said, turning back around to the witch and weapon. "Are you thinking of being Allelujah's partner?"

"Yes, my Lord. However, I would like Allelujah to have a final word on this matter, if it is not a problem, of course." Said Catherine, with a smile on her face. She adjusted her glasses and looked at the death scythe. Of course, she had had no experience as a meister.

Allelujah blinked a few times and shrugged. "I mean, if you think you're equipped to handle Hallelujah during battle, I'm fine with it. That purple haired boy that showed up tried to be my meister once but he almost was killed by Hallelujah,"

"Have you forgotten? I put you two together. I sent him there hoping you two would make up." Lord Death said, hands out to the side in a shrug-like gesture. He then changed the subject. "I imagine that Catherine's particular skill set could be very effective when dealing with Hallelujah."

The witch rubbed her chin. The shinigami was absolutely right. Letting out a quiet "Hm". the witch adjusted her lab coat and smiled. "Yes, you are right, boss... " Said the witch. As long as stopping Hallelujah required her to force him to faint. Also, on the other side, Allelujah seemed to be a really nice person...also he looked kinda cute. "No! Catherine! It's not the time to think about it!" Thought the witch.

Allelujah nodded, shrugging slightly and sticking his hands in his pockets. "Sounds fine to me, shinigami-sama," he replied softly.

"Very good! In that case, you're dismissed!" Lord Death said happily before he stopped talking. It was their queue to leave.

The witch bowed in front of the shinigami with a smile. "Thank you, boss." Said the witch before turning around and marching towards the exit.

Allelujah nodded and followed her out of the death room. Then they were out. "So, I guess that means we're partners, huh," he gave her a weak and somewhat forced smile. "I had an idea as far as you getting to know Hallelujah. We could head to my room and I can see if he'll come out and you can talk to him,"

The witch nodded, adjusting her glasses. "Lead the way, then." Said Catherine
