Wings of fire

Emily looks up through the water panicked and hid down deeper in the darkest part of the water hoping that the sky wing dodent want to go for a swim to cheek out

the sky wing bent down and sniffed one of Emily's claw prints on the ground. she stalked over to the water and peered in. Arthur snuck out of cover and grabbed the dead scavengers spear.

Emily was scared she was shaking she could see the sky wing at the edge of the pool of water sniffing around please help i dont want to be killed my first day out of the cave

Arthur put away the spear and thought. she was a sky wing, and doesn't that mean they are allies in the war? " hello. " said Arthur. " what is it? " said the sky wing only glancing at him. " there was another scavenger. they had two bags and they split up. " Arthur lied. " oh that can wait. I actually need a mud wing. take that scavengers spear and go bring up a sea wing that just jumped in the water. " well crap thought Arthur. he noded and jumped in. once he reached the bottom ( about ten feet deep. ) he started pointing down river furiously.

Emily nodded and started to swim down stream

Arthur swiped his talons across his face and swam back up. " I'm sorry miss but she attacked me and headed upstream. " the sky wing walked past him to look at the water, and then he struck. he drove the spear so deep through the weak part of her tail hit went strait through. lodging itself into the ground. she hissed and roared flames. " YOU INSOLENT PEST!!! YOU WILL PAY FOR CROSSING QUEEN SCARLET!!! " Arthur flew downstream as fast as he could. oh my god not even ten minutes in and I am making enemy's. he thought.

Emily was swiming down stream when she herd her roar and was scared for arther

Arthur dived in and looked for Emily, after a moment he found her. he pointed up. " flugging with ba facter. " he said distorted by the water.

Jet finally reaches the library and starts to say "Alright Ben we got to...." Jet turns around noticing that Ben wasn't following him "Uhh where the heck did he disappear to?"

ben comes bounding out of the kitchen with a rucksack full of food. whatever salted meats or vegetables that wont quickly spoil. " sorry had to be prepared. " ben grabbed a large scroll and set it on the ground. " the mentors are in their cave and they wont come out for a spell. we need to do this quietly or they'll stop us. "

"Always gotta be a scout Ben." Jet says jokingly "All right so what do we need to do?"

" well two ways. we make a fire here easily but risk detection or we climb up there and plant them, they burn and stay hidden. problem is one of us might break our neck doing that and its to narrow to fly. I'd suggest option one but our mentors might smell it or worse, the fire spreads. I'll let you decide. " said ben laying the food to the side and smiling. you would hardly think he was the one getting who's head gets lopped off if this fails. everyone besides him and amy were safe but he stayed calm and collected.

"Normal dragon would say the easy but I ain't a normal dragon so the harder way. And I will go."

" ok, I'll do it though. I'm nimble and I'm smaller than you. " said ben offering and he gathered the driest and oldest scrolls, moving others around to seem as nothing was missing.

Emily smiled and swam to the top " oh my god what happened i herd her roar what happened

Arthur followed her. " I stabbed her, but it wont hold her long MOVE!!! " he took off flying in the direction he thought the cave was.

Jet says "Alright Ben get a move on we dont have all night so I will stand guard."

ben took a scroll in his mouth and wrapped rope around his shoulders and climbed up. after one failed attempt and 5 minutes he succeeds. the smoke was burning bright.
after a few minutes of fast flying Arthur spotted the smoke. " hey look here it is! " he landed next to an opening and started looking for a switch, to move the boulder.

Jet whispers up to Ben "Hey you got it?"

ben drops down. " yeah. the paper will burn and then the rope. I don't think we'll be waiting long. "

"Good we should get going to the door for when they open it." Jet says exeitedly

" yeah sounds good. " said ben walking to the door.
" aha! " said Arthur. he had found a switch hidden under a stone. the boulder slowly moves to the side. there was nothing stopping them now!

Jet hears the boulde starting to move and whispers to ben "Hey they're here."

" oh my. is it finally time? " ben walked to the door and smelled the fresh air.
