Fabulous Mistake. The Hunter Will Become the Hunted?(open)

Desert... sooooo hot! Millie whined to herself. She looked about at the fog cloud that had supported her this far. Most of it had managed to get away from her at this point, and if she didn't find a new source she would have to deal with normally dry skin. Not unhealthy, but terribly aggravating to her aquatic nature. In the distance stood a incredible structure in the middle of the desert. A shining beacon of hope! Problem was, it bore an unmistakeable face on it. This is... Death City?  She thought as she stood with the blankest of looks on her face. Awwwww, this is why everyone told me to go to the gatherings! It's not my fault it's so boring there. Another reason not to travel strange countries without a guide I suppose. Millie knew barely the first thing about the DWMA, or the students that learned there. She had wondered into the Mojave with barely a-. W-wait!! I've come all this way without soul protect active! Millie's eyes darted back and forth, as she looked for anyone who might have noticed. "Soul Protect." She whispered as if she were in a room crowded with spies.
After regaining her composure Millie quickly made her way to the city. With soul protect active she wouldn't be able to manipulate her fog, so she was desperate to find a different source of moisture. She would be stuck in death city for at least the day, and would have to leave while the students were sleeping. She made her way past the main entrance in the beginning of a search for a large body of water, as inconspicuously as a water drenched desert goer could.

Arc walked through the street past Millie while drinking from a can of Cola. He didn't notice her and carried on as he was walking.

Millie watched the youngling move past her holding a wet chilled kiss of life in his hands. She licked her lips in envy, and began creeping towards him. Placing her hands on his shoulders, and ignoring all predilections of personal boundaries between one stranger, and another, she asked him, "H-hey... Where did 'ya get that?" The woman looked and sounded like a teen that had just stepped out of a pool, and her true age was almost impossible to discern from looks.

Arc flinched as hands were placed on his shoulders and quickly turned, dropping the can on the floor. "Convenience store. Round the corner." He said in a slightly raised voice, answering the strangers question. He looked at her confused, seeing her strange attire.

Millie looked down, and spoke with a saddened tone. "Aw... why did you waste it." She knelt next to the can as if it were a dead man, or some other mourn worth thing. Regaining herself she moved back to her feet. "I didn't mean to scare you little Shibusen." Even though she said "little", one should note they were relatively the same height, with Millie on the lower end. She extended her still wet hand. "Millie, what's your name?"

He took her hand and shook it, then pulling his hand away and wiping it on his hoodie. "Name's Arc. You owe me a Cola for scaring me into dropping it." He said, still confused as to what the heck was going on with the stranger in front of him.

Millie was notably one of disconnected emotions/empathy, and certainly wasn't in touch with manners most people would consider to be status-quo. "If that's your tradition." Millie blinked a few times in thought before turning, and shouting, "Take me to the store!!" One thing she would yet discover is currency.

"Stop shouting, jeez..." He starts walking towards the store around the corner. "Everyone is going to be looking at you."

Hearing Arc's words, Millie darted her head back, and forth with paranoia. "Right." She whispered, before following close behind the boy. It was no surprise they she stood out regardless of how she acted. Who comes in from the desert sopping wet?

"Strange girl..." He mumbled as he opened the door to the store and walked over to the cooler in which sodas stood. "Have you got money?" He asked.

Millie was still looking over her shoulder. "Eh-? Money? Um... no." She answered in a distracted tone. She was absolutely 100% sure she was being followed now. She looked to the clerk, "Why does the DWMA have so many standing around like a bunch of lazy slobs?" She asked in a condescending tone.

"Those are the people working in stores. It's their jo---" He stopped when he realized that she had not been normal at all. Very strange, she didn't know anything about anything. He slowly took two sodas from the cooler and brought them to the counter and put a few coins down next to them.

She turned on one heel, tracking the boys position. "I thought this was Death City. Isn't everyone here a Meister or weapon." She knew what stores were, but for some reason didn't expect to see them here. She did wonder why there was so much dead space that wasn't filled with training materials, and such.

"No, it's a city. A whole city with people living here like in any other city. A large portion of the teens are meisters and weapons, but normal people live here too." He explained, handing Millie a soda after getting change. He would see if she knew how to open it. One of the simplest of things. He had started to suspect something.

Damn! Stupid witch meetings... Should have paid more attention. While she didn't entirely understand how Death City worked, she did know the way of most of the world. She opened the soda, backing in the hiss, and crack. Quickly she drank down its entire contents, and crushed the can. "So what about you? Are you in fact a little Shibusen?" Her eyes gleamed with curiosity, and a hint of intelligent predatory instinct.

"Little Shibusen? You mean student?" He corrects.

Millie stared nervously. "Y-yes, that one." She turned, her back facing him, to think. If this carries on I'll have tiny meisters all over me. I from out of town anyways, surely I'm not THAT suspicious yet. She turned back to him. "So? What is your job? Or should I say jo-?" She said with a sarcastic smile.

"I stopped because I realized you know nothing about Death City. I am a student." He says, then sighs. "So, what are you doing coming in from the desert all wet?"

He could not have asked a more brilliantly terrible question. Uh-oh, what do I answer!? Think, think, think!! "... I-, fell into a mud puddle?" She she stated in the tone of a question, as if to subconsciously ask it what she said was convincing enough.

"Nope, you are wet, not covered in mud. It also hasn't rained in a long time. That's why it's a desert." He replied. "Who are you?"

No time to think, it'll only look suspicious! Wait I'm thinking right now!! "I-I already told you..." She laughed nervously. "I'm Millie, or Millicent if you want the full name." She began to back her way out the door. Knew this was a stupid idea!! "You see, I'm traveling is all. Just passing through." It was obvious by her accent she wasn't an American.

"I can believe you are traveling, but you are not a normal person, are you?" He asked, seeing that nothing she said really added up and that she was pulling excuses.

Millie her interrogator a predatory look. He's suspicious beyond my means of repair now. I could lure him out and eat him, but that would be a double edged sword. I would have to release my soul protect, and there are only so many DWMA students I can handle. Better to play into his young idealistic heart instead. "Lets talk somewhere else." She said with a sigh.

Arc shrugged. "Ok, fine." He said.

Smiling at the boys compliance, Millie began to lead him through the streets. She was trying to find a suitable alleyway out of the ear-shot of the general public. "So, are you a weapon, or a meister?" She said as she turned her head back, and forth, her eyes scouring the area.
