Due to Deth's promotion and a slur of inactivity amongst the staff, we are in need of a new mod! This position will largely be for the purpose of dealing with approval of characters. Whoever we choose to receive this promotion will be given a week long trial period to see how they perform.
Applications for this position will be posted under this topic. applicants will include details on their strengths and weaknesses as well as how active they will be on this site.

Strengths: I'm on a good amount of time, and I love to read. I refresh the page a lot, and see when new characters come on often. I'm also good at checkers. (That's a lie, I am horrible at checkers.)

Weaknesses: I'm shy, and I have very little experience with being a leader/mod. I do, however, know how to use the mod tools. Chess.

Hello everybody, (#maythebestmemberwin)

My name is DeadEyes. I've been on this forum for a very long time and I am VERY active! Im literally on day and night. The reason why this is my favorite forum is because of the environment. Everyone is friendly and enjoyable, the mods and admins are reasonable and they don't abuse their power, and because its pretty easy to make a fun thread.

Strengths: I've been somewhat of a mod/admin on another forum and I think that I could do pretty good on this one. I'm pretty keen when it comes to character originality and making sure characters aren't OP. Im a pretty reasonable person, but I can be stern or straight forward when I need to be. I respect the mods and admins. Whatever they say goes.

Weaknesses: Sadly I'm usually on mobile version, so moving APP's would probably have to wait a day or two for me. But I'm getting a tablet soon so that problem is only temporary. Another one of my weaknesses is that my buttons are pressed easily. I can get annoyed pretty quickly, but I know how to maintain myself... That's pretty much it. Strengths:

-I've been a Mod on a few other sites including multiple Chatlands sites.

-Despite me not being able to write great apps myself (mostly because of laziness), I know when there has been a mistake made. For example: Histories that are either too frequent or completely unrealistic, OP characteristics, etc.

-I'm not afraid to express my feelings or show what needs to be done. Especially when I know almost everybody on here by now.

-I don't get angry easily. Thus, I won't get frustrated over certain things when it comes to dealing with somebody who has a bit of an attitude. Or when somebody doesn't understand something whilst working on an app/talking to another person disrespectfully

-I've been here for about half the year, so I know what to expect.

Weaknesses:

-Because of school, I can't get on in early hours (Eastern time) during the week. On weekends, I should be on almost the whole day. Depending on if my family is doing something or not.

-If I get grounded, it's usually for a week away from my iPad if not less. That's when I won't be able to get on.

Hello, i am connor, my friends call me connor. I have been on the site for a while now and I'd be honored to have this moderator position

strengths: I am a pretty talented writer and i really enjoy working with characters in writing or roleplays. I am very good at expressing my thoughts, so if somebody had something wrong with their character submission, I feel i could tell them exactly what needed to be changed.

weaknesses: i get very frustrated when i am overwhelmed. Other than that there's nothing that would really hinder me if i had this position

activity: I am still in high school so during week days i wont be too active during the day. However, during freetime in school and at home i should be able to do what is needed.

Weaknesses: I have classes Mon, Wed, and Fri. and I hold grudges XD, but I'll try really hard to get over that.
Strengths: I have A LOT of free time when I'm not in my classes, and said time is usually surfing the interwebs. I've either helped with a few rp forums or was the leader of them. I'm an English/ Biology major so editing and approving paragraphs is my specialty (along with dissecting things).

P.S. I haven't been on lately due to the holidays XD but up at college I'll be on all the time.

I have experience with administrating and moderating several sites that are not of my creation.
I'm good at ending arguments between members.
Weaknesses: I tend to get under the weather rather quickly, so sometimes I'm not very approachable.
I have issue kicking or banning on occasion if I'm not absolutely sure if it's called for.
I can be highly rude if someone provokes it, so I'm not exactly a miracle child.

Well, haaaaaai~! I'm Kokoa~! I've been a member of this site for approximately 2 months, and this is my first role play site. However, it's not my first time writing, since I've been writing fan fiction for 2 years. I've been told I'm a natural leader and I'm also here most of the time, plus I know a big part of the members and I get along well with them. I'm pretty patient and I can handle pressure well, and even if English is not my first language, I lack spelling mistakes and my grammar is acceptable.

I think my weaknesses are my vocabulary is not as extensive as other members', and when I'm tired or multitasking my English can get pretty messed up. Also another disadvantage of me is I've never been a mod or admin before.
