Spade laughed a bit "that's not what I meant smart ass! I meant something worse"

Gabriel was puzzled. " Woooooooorce? "

Spade frowned "do I really have to say what could be worse than flirting with you? It's obvious so don't play dumb like a naive little kid....." Spade said

" Oh you wound me madam! " joked Gabriel, but that last statement really did hurt him...

Spade sat up and sighed "don't take it the wrong way gabriel........i didn't mean you aren't attractive enough I just meant I couldn't see mysellf doing those things when I was sober......"

" Well me neither. " Gabriel sat their awkwardly.

Spade raised an eyebrow "what does that supposed to mean?!"

" Gabriel thought for a moment. " Oh no, what I meant to say is I couldn't see you flirting with me sober either. " The chauffer pulled into her street.

Spade shrugged "yea maybe, well here's where I get off...." she started to get out the car but then looked back at gabriel "are you coming??"

Gabriel got out. " If your offer still stands? "

Spade frowned but still shrugged "yea, even though I was incredibly drunk I still invited you over my house........."s

" Then let us proceed. " Gabriel opened the door for her as the limo drove away. He yawned.

Spade unlocked the apartment door and walked in "you can sleep on the couch of your tired......"

" Thank you very much. " Gabriel closed the door and followed her to her room.

"Whoa whoa, where the hell are you going?!" She exclaimed

" Could I get a glass of water before I go to bed? " Gabriel asked not knowing the layout of her home.

Spade chuckled a bit "what are you 5? Of course you can get your own water!"

Gabriel walked around and found a kitchen he flicked on the light and started working, it sounded like he was working alchemy but it smelled like he was cooking. " Don't come in for a while, I need some time to cook up a surprise. " He made a list of every ingredient he used that way he could replace them later.

"Just clean up what you mess up, I'll be back in a while I'm going to shower" spade said as she went down the hall to the bathroom

When she came out the way to her kitchen was blocked by a strip of duck tape, on it was a note. " Gone to get proper ingredients, no peaking you! "
