Saiko looks up at him and smiles gently, "Well I'm glad you did because I can't imagine how I would be now if I was partnered up with someone other than you."

He smiled and looked a bit choked up. "Thank you Saiko..."

"B-but Vail..." Saiko whispers, not wanting to ask one last question.

"What is it Saiko?" He smiled and scratched the back of his head a little...

"A-are we s-still just friends...?" She asks, looking at him curiously.

"D-do...you want to be just friends?" He looked a little worried asking that but she should know he would accept any decision she made. "I'd like to be...more..."

"I-I..." She closes her eyes and smiles slightly, trying to stay calm. "I would like to be m-more than just f-friends as well..."

The look he gave her...it was as if she had given him exactly what he wanted which she had. His face was blank slowly turning into joy. He quickly wrapped his arms around her waist and picked her up, twirling around a bit, "Wooo!!"

Saiko smiles at this, giggling lightly. "I can't believe you're t-this happy."

He stops twirling and chuckled, "I am happy, you've made me very happy." Kissing her again, he pressed a little harder then before this time.

She blushes lightly, kissing him back lightly. "T-thank you for e-everything..." Saiko whispers when they broke apart.

Taking her hand into his own then lightly squeezing it. Vail nodded and looked up as the sky was clearing. "Want to go to our spot? or want me to take you home?"

"I would love to go h-home now." Saiko says, hinting towards her wet clothing.

"Yea, this is kinda bad haha...alright lets go." Holding her hand gently and walking with her...Vail finally got who he wanted and would keep her safe at any cost.

On the way to her apartment, Saiko felt different. The usual feeling of danger was gone and replaced with the feeling of security. Her lips curl into a smile as she realizes that the feeling was gone forever now, not able to get to her ever again.
