The Story So Far (WIP)

Relevant Background Information
Soul Eater RP (SERP) follows most closely to the anime plot line for Soul Eater, though there are many elements of the manga that have been incorporated as well. The site storyline begins approximately seventeen years after the conclusion of the anime. If you have seen the anime and not read the manga then this does not effect you at all. If, however, you have read the manga, there are some things that this changes.

SERP Main Story So Far

For a time after the defeat of the Kishin Asura, all seemed well. Then, rumors began in Europe of people seeing Asura's eye, and then vanishing.  The Death Scythe Asuka took up the investigation, but each time she tracked down a subject, they vanished before she could question them. In the end, she was left with only a name. Saca.

She returned to the academy, and recruited a team of Death Scythes and Meisters. This group was aided by the mysterious witch, Charim, whose agenda was unknowable. The group traveled to London, where they destroyed a cult devouted to the Kishin and a witch in league with it.

Meanwhile, the Kishin Egg Reaver, a long time enemy of the DWMA, found deep in the Antarctic Saca's hidden fortress. Under order from the Kishin, Reaver refitted the fortress into the University, the dark counterpart of the DWMA. Reaver and Saca began plotting all out war.

Through many trials and self sacrifice, the DWMA was able to stop Saca from achieving his goal of resurrecting Saca. The Kishin disappeared, though the University was saved.

Time moved on. The University faded into a mere whisper, and its more prominent agents moved on to their own plans. The most powerful of these agents, Nebun, took up the guise of a DWMA Student while he attempted to access the Soul Locker, where all souls confiscated from weapons were stored.

In Europe, another threat arose in the form of Inker, a Kishin Egg who controlled an army of ink constructs that destroyed the city of Berlin and were indirectly responsible for the ruin of Madrid. The DWMA was routed due to Inker's superior tactics as well as his manipulative schemes. Now solo fighters continue the fight against him.

Nebun, in the meanwhile, found the Soul Locker, and, despite the intervention of Death Scythes Asuka Lee and Sylas Hammer, was able to consume a number of the pure souls stored there before being banished to the reaches of outer space.

Even Reaver began to move again, though his intentions are unknown, and he has yet to move against the DWMA once more.

Time passed, and Nebun, through force of will, was able to return, laying waste to Shanghai. Here, the DWMA's Ultimate Meister, Stein, and Death Scythe Sylas Hammer, were forced to retreat due to Nebun's immense power, near that of a full Kishin.

This is the world in which you find yourself in, one in which the forces of good fight valiantly against near impossible odds. Will you tip the balance of power in their favor, or work to bring them to ruin? The choice is yours.
