A Well Mannered Prison Break (Open)

10:47 PM Corpus Cristi, TX

At a harbor in the Gulf of Mexico, a cargo barge is stationed in place, a topic of question as no cargo has been removed from it in a decade, and it has been there the entire time. During the night the ship is quite heavily guarded, men with guns patrolling the perimeter of the area and keeping constant watch. Or they would be, if they weren't so confident that nobody would bother them today, if ever. Anyone who dared to quarry about the ship with any guard hasn't been seen leaving so it wasn't out the question they might be kishin eggs.

Martyn Deville, a student from the DWMA was awaiting at the area, taking possession of a small office overlooking the boat by force. The people there were only human so he left them unconscious on the floor. He has lead this group of individuals to this mission, that he set up himself under Death's nose. Sooner or later he face the consequence of ordering around his peers at the academy, but he wasn't very upset about it, it was all for a good cause, but mostly, an aching heart. If they could manage to take down the heavy fortification on this boat, he could save possibly a hundred lives, and one in particular. The ship held many prisoners, but he only needed one.

Jet follows after Martyn "So who is the target?" He grabs guards head then slams it into a wall "A murderer? A thief? A murderer their?"

The Clown Aqualice would follow behind, garbed in a odd cloak that trailed to the ground. He had .... hired himself on, so to speak, while concealing his nature as a clown. Doing so had been simple. Clowns were rare, while monsters were far more common. So, he had convinced the human in charge of this mission that he was simply a Ant Monster with a soul concealing ability. how do you intend to handle this, exactly The Clown of Power would thought speak at Martyn. violence, a straight up assault, or are we taking a more....subtle, approach?

Martyn turned an put a hole in the wall. "I WANT to KILL ALL of these BASTARDS, but the sheer difference in our numbers makes that almost impossible. Alright here's the plan. The top side of the boat is covered with cargo containers, is maze-like and more than likely filled with armed men, so it's the best idea to avoid that as much as possible. We go straight to the bridge, but we have to be silent, and make our way down into the hull where the prisoners should be, which will be almost as heavily guarded as the top-deck. If we can minimize deaths on either side here that would be fantastic. Stick to the shadows, and silence everyone, no noise. Got it?" He carefully removed his sword from it's sheathe, the Japanese script inscribed on it gleamed in the light. Following it he pull out a parrying dagger, that he held tightly with the blade facing his back.

Jet nods "Hell silence is what I am best at. I used to be a thief you know." He transforms his left hand and starts towards the boat "So recap.... Be stealthy and murder every enemy on the boat."

if you need power to slay them, why didn't you ask?


The ant like clown would stretch out one of his hands toward Martyn. a particular ability of my ...species... is the ability to temporarily increase the power of a willing recipient. ask, and i will make you more than capable of taking them all on in a direct fight. this offer also applies to jet as well, if he requires it. 

"Well not everyone, just the people in your way. And it's a kind offer, but I'm not concerned about my strength, I have enough. Let us get moving. Time is of the essence." He was about to leave when thought of something. "Kid," He said looking at Jet. "You strike me as a very impulsive person. No matter how tempting it is too look for a challenging fight, resist the urge." He turned back and kicked the door down, dashing and vaulting over a railing as he approached the pier. He was able to slip past a few guards heading in the opposite direction, and was well on his way to boarding.

Jet hops out of the window, stealthily runs to the boat and starts climbing up the side thinking 'Ahhhh just like the good ol' days'

Tiala was still strapped to Martyn's hip and she sighed heavily into his mind talking through their ever present soul length "You have a partner now... you have to use me for this to work you don't need those right now so can you pick me up and make me feel useful?" her mild irritation was easily felt through the connection as well as the volume she spoke with inside his head.

Martyn smiled, but him distancing himself was for good reason, not due to his forgetfulness. He spoke back to her through his mind, and she found foothold on the boat he could scale. "Tiala, I'm sure you know just how strong we are together. Even without fighting, our souls almost encompassed that entire rooftop that night. But right now that a bigger concern that it might seem. I'm certain that whatever is going on here, the person in charge would have enough sense to put someone strong in charge. If any of them have a mind of their own, they would sense our presence immediately. So it might be in our best interests, if I waited until a more dire situation."

"Holy damn, you are long winded you motherf*cker. So you think you've finally found her do you? Cute, I can't wait to see your mangled corpse."

Martyn elected to ignore the voice in his head right about now.

can we cut this short, please? the one called jet has decided to go forth and sneak in. in order to aid you, what say I raise a distraction? Aqualice would thought speak to the pair, folding his upper set of arms.

Martyn was very confused of how he spoke to them telepathically, they weren't all resonating right now, it wasn't important right now, is what he reassured himself with before shaking it off. "If you think you can cause a distraction and manage to stay in one piece, be my guest." Martyn cleared the edge and landed quietly on the top deck.

A few guards were lying in wait near the door vital to the entrance blocking the way for both Martyn and jet once he finished climbing.

i intend too Aqualice would say as he walked over to the edge of the window, and pulled out a small device. Pressing a button, a large explosion would be sighted on the other side of the prison. attention all gaurds, we are the PDIIF. surrender now and you're death will be swift. resist and we will make you suffer. Aqualice would thoughtspeak to all in range. Twas a good thing that, unlike sound, you couldn't detect the direction thoughtspeak came from. Otherwise, he would likely have his bluff called and be attacked.

Jet made on top of the boat, starts humming the 'Missin Impossible theme' forgetting that he had a wallow talkie, notices the where two in his way so he rushes forward

The guards were all on alert mode now, their guns ready and aiming up and round. They had no idea what to look at but they were actively searching for the location the sound was coming from which was very difficult to discern. A few of them went to investigate the explosion.

Martyn looked to Jet, and using hand signals explain to him that he would take the one on the left and he wanted jet to get the one to his right, and slowly progressed toward them.

Jet nods and changes his course to attack the guy on the right. When jet reached him he jumped up and kicked the guy in the back of the head

Aqualice would clasp his hands together. Proceeding according to plan. do not bother trying to uncover the source of this message. i am utilizing a method of communication known as telepathy. to give you a proper demonstration of how resistance is futile. With that, all of the guards would feel pure pain, as the Madness of Agony spread amongst them.

Martyn kept pace with Jet on the approach, timing his strike with Jet's and putting the man in a sleeper's hold. he carefully opened the door the two men we in front of that lead to a double helix stairwell. Martyn rushed ahead of Jet with a dagger in his teeth. He tried to convey his thought to Aqualice again. "How's the distraction coming?"

Most of the guards were on their knees begging for mercy, they couldn't take it. Some others started shooting in random directions, hoping to hit something, anything that would cease the pain.

i currently have the gaurds believing that they are under attack by a outside force and in utter agony Aqualice would communicate to Martyn. if you wish, i can probably convince them to kill themselves to escape the pain. this is acceptable?

Jet rushes next Marty "That is just cruel. Just knock them out."

"No need, minimal casualties, remember that. The more people who die, the easier we'll find ourselves on Lord Death's radar." Martyn lead Jet down two flights of stairs, two the lower floor through some double doors. Martyn stopped in his tracks. "Something's not right here." Ahead of them they could see the prisoner cells, lined up with little space between them, the entire floor was a metal mesh, and looking through it you could see another floor below. "The prisoners are right here, but there's no opposition."

A loud crack could be heard on the outside of the ship, as a sniper rifle sounded in the distance. The bullet whizzed past Aqualice, and shattered a window behind him. Another two shots fired in quick succession, but lucky for him they all missed. "Damn, I miscalculated the wind." A man was shooting at him, but it was clear he wasn't on the boat.

Jet looks at Martyn and grins. "Should we get behind cover?" Jet tans forms his left hand "Or shall I block the bullets?" He looks at where he thought the sniper would be raises his right hand in the little two finger gun and pretends to shoot

(Tuck, Martyn and Jet are inside of the ship, so they are not being shot at by the sniper, it's only Aqualice.)
