Jessie takes the form of a rather large Odachi, measuring in at 4'8". The blade is made of polished silver and it's edge sharp enough to beasically cut anything, if wielded correctly. The hilt is made of white wood and wrapped in black leather. The guard shows a scale ornament, colored in a metallic grey. There's an inscription on the sword's blade reading "りょくぎょくほのお", which means "Emerald Blaze" and represents the sword's name and abilities.
The scabbard is made from a very sturdy, light material, allowing it to be used as a weapon of sorts. It's colored in a simple emerald green, wrapped with a string of black leather.

Appearance:

Jessie stands at a height of 5'7" while sporting a weight of 123lb, and thus presenting herself with a decent build, especially if it comes to her hips and legs. Her eyes are colored in mossy green, while her, short, long-banged hair takes on a greyish color. She prefers to wear a mix of cute and cool clothes, her favorite being a white summer-dress and grey hoodie-jacket, accompanied by black and white striped thigh-highs and black sneakers.

Personality:

Jessie is a generally rather serious girl, while at the same time pretty easygoing and relaxed. She isn't easily agitated or angered and rarely shows excitement over anything. The only time she gets passionate is when she is seriously interested in something or someone, and if a challenge draws near, especially if it's a fight. On the other hand she can get annoyed by the smallest of things and doesn't hide it. But if she is sad or worried she keeps that to herself and turns to rage if someone sees her crying. On that note, you might want to know that her rage excels all her other expressions and that she carries grudges for a long time. She is also a very loyal person, once she trusts someone.


History:

Jessie was born to an unknown pairing between a man from the States and a woman from Japan, and then abandoned in front of a wealthy and traditional family's residence owning a high-class school for sword-fighting in Kyoto. She was found by the eldest daughter of the family and her husband, who decided to take her in, despite risking their standing within the family.

Jessie's early years were sheltered and comforting, though the whole family apart from the two who took her in, were looking at her with cold eyes. She however, was still far too young to notice anything, and so she was, though unwillingly, treated as a normal child and was even allowed to enter the school once she was old enough.

The real trouble began once the other kids noticed that her parents looked down on Jessie and began doing the same. That was when they were about 10 years old. Of course, Jessie also noticed the different treatment and began to wonder what was going on. But she didn't get the chance to ask, because the situation quickly escalated into bullying, and the only thing keeping her together was the Ryuko Style, an advanced sword-play handed down within the family, requiring high skills. The regular fights and sparrings were the only time where Jessie was truly superior to everyone else. While all her other emotions were dulled and bottled, her rage and will to fight grew gloriously.

It was not long after her 12th birthday that somehow or another, the secret of her heritage was discovered by her peers, while she herself remained oblivious. At least until the other kids revealed it to her, treating her like dirt. Seeking confirmation, she confronted her "parents", only to be smitten down by the truth. It was a few days after that, that she overheard some elders talking about dropping her from the Ryuko Style now that the Secret was out. In the end, that might have been the final trigger for her first partial transformation and at the same time awakened the flames slumbering inside her. In her fit of blind rage she nearly burned the mansion and it took her a whole day to regain her calm.
Of course, this had to be dealt with and soon she was called before the family head, already an old man but still quite intimidating. She had expected everything, any form of punishment, but instead the old man simply asked her to transform. She had intended to repeat the thing from when she went on a frenzy, but instead she had turned into her full weapon form, which confused her and suprised the old man. He told her that she seemed astoundingly similar to a lineage of sword-weapons who had been on good terms with the Ryuko family for decades. He arranged for a meeting and Jessie was soon confirmed as a successor.

That also meant that she had to leave the Ryuko household, to learn about her true family and learn what it meant to be a weapon. What exactly she was taught, and how she lived there... no one knows.

And now, not long before she will turn sixteen, she finally enters the DWMA, brimming with curiosity as to what exactly will happen in this new chapter of her life. She has no real plans, and will take the things how they will go.
