Plan A (Beyril)

Zella sped through the door to the building, the creature following her inside.

As the creature's head entered through the doorway, Ace launched himself from it's back, landing on the stone wall above, and pulled the wire next to him with as much force as he could, ripping the kunai from their previous positions. Their weight tossed around heavily in the air as they were desperately woven about the back of the monster. Once the grip was firm, Ace let the centipede pull him down from where he stood, and he looped the wires around one of the heavy doors leading into the building, causing it to come to a sudden stop.

Zella brought her snowboard to a halt, looking to where the creature thrashed in the doorway, "So how do I get out now, genius?"

Ace sighed, dropping from the ridge of the door. "I didn't think you'd go INTO the ruins!" He shouted over the monster. "There has to be another entrance somewhere. They were too clever to only have one exit." The boy took a gun out of his pocket and slid it towards Zella along the ground. "That's a flair gun. Get to the other exit and use that to signal me if I don't find it first."

Zella nodded, rushing back into the temple.

Ace finally found his way around the ruins, climbing up on the walls of ice, stumbling around in the snow. There was a similar door to the first on what was probably the other side of the building, only smaller, and a bit more concealed. He shoved his way into the corridor, panting from the effort required to move the weight of the door. Once inside, he worked to find a way back to where the girl was. Not only was he interested in her mystique, but he also figured that this ruin could be dangerous, so having another body around might be a smart idea. Plus... he had something he wanted to ask her.

Zella wandered around the runs, muttering to herself as she kept her fists clenched, "Trap me in here.." she muttered angrily, "After I kept him from running headlong into that thing..." she made her way to the back door that Reaver had told her about, but all the ice walls just looked the same to her. "I better not be lost.."

Eventually, Ace reached the same corridor as Zella. He heard her footsteps long before he saw her, so he was ready to fight, but relaxed when he was sure it was her. "Alright. Now, explain to me what you were doing here, again."

Zella looked up at him, her ice blue eyes looking him over, "I had business here. And it's not yours. I appreciate the help, but I've got a kishin egg to track down."

"Actually," Ace grabbed her by the shoulder. "It IS my business. Sorry, but if you've got a bone to pick with Reaver, you need to get in line. And I'M first."

Zella rolled her eyes, "I bet you've not even seen the guy. I've been stuck here for ages until that ice wyrm got out... And without me you'll never find him anyways. Make this a race if you want, but I'll win, because I know where he's headed."

Ace leaned in over the girl, making the best of his naturally imposing disposition. "Did you just say that you know where he's headed?" His eyes narrowed and he clenched his jaw.

Zella stood on tip toe, defiant, "Yes, I did. And I'm not telling you either. He's my job. Not yours."
