Weapon Form: Orion takes the form of a gauntlet with a retractable silver blade decorated with onyx and emerald. In her gauntlet’s design is the symbol of her constellation; a warrior with a sword and shield. The blade is decorated with a moon and stars motif, all inlaid gold against the harsh silver of the folding blade.

Appearance: Orion’s straight cut bobbed white hair and steely gray eyes were her trademark symbols in her prime. The woman clad all in white, like a beam of holy light from the sky, smiting those who were corrupt and unworthy. This cold, clean cut image was one that very much suit her. Standing at 5’10”, and weighing in at almost 10 billion pounds, due to her time spent as a star. (The Constellations are made up of starstuff, and are therefore much more dense and heavy than typical people.) The woman is remarkably muscular, and typically wears her white suit with black gloves out in public, along with black leather shoes. Along with the other constellations, the experimentation done by Arachne allows them to shift general features of their appearance, though for Orion, the transition is uncomfortable, and she prefers to stay in her own skin, so to speak.

Personality: Orion was known back in her day as The Great Huntress, and the crisp, cold, stoic attitude of one is evident from the instant one meets her. She was known as a fierce competitor, and her single-minded focus on victory extends to the battlefield, and her interactions with people. She is very competitive, and gives all of her attention to whomever is speaking at the time in conversation. Orion is very much concerned with justice and fairness, much like the more modern idea of a paladin. Her incredible temper strikes the hardest at those who have harmed the innocent needlessly or have betrayed their people. Prideful and headstrong, though, Orion often times has difficulty seeing her own faults.

History: Orion was born in close to modern-day Athens in the early days of man. She exhibited a much stronger talent for fighting and hunting than her brothers did, so when they farmed and took care of the land, Orion hunted game to feed her family with. As the Titans rose against the gods in defense of Prometheus and mankind, Orion packed away her father's armor, sword, and shield and journeyed to find the Titans, accompanied by her brother, Corvus. When they reached the Titans, they volunteered to serve under the titan, Atlas. Atlas accepted their service, but the acceptance was false until they had proven themselves to him. It was during these battles that Orion and Corvus both discovered the boosts in power granted by consuming souls. While the consumption of souls gave Corvus supernatural abilities, Orion’s skill seemed to only go up with her own training and practice. Even though this was exceptional, Orion’s competitive nature made this fact a disappointment. When the Titans were eventually conquered by the gods, the soldiers of Atlas were slowly tracked down, and imprisoned in the sky for their treachery. Orion and Scorpius were caught together, and thus imprisoned next to each other in the sky.
Centuries later, when Arachne was working on forming her weapons, she used the souls of the soldiers of Atlas to craft the first trials of these weapons. Due to the fact that they had already been consuming souls, they formed Dark Weapons instead. When Atlas was freed from his duty of holding the world up on his back, and witnessed the evils of humanity, he tore the sky, and freed Orion from her prison.

Icarus	Orion's sword blade can glow white hot and burn at the same temperature as the core of a star. This can swelter the air around her enough to melt through steel without contact, and can quickly make breathing difficult. Her resonance ability protects her meister from this attack.	50

Miscellaneous: Orion was, in myth, slain by Scorpio, and the two were placed in the heavens to follow each other in eternal chase. In fact, Orion and Scorpio were captured by the gods together, but each blames the other for the mistake that led to their demise. This often makes for very…. awkward conversation at the dinner table.
