Orabelle the Iron Flute (Accepted) Sad-emo-anime-girl-2

Name: Orabelle Noel Marie (Or just Ora)

Sex: Female

Age: 16

Meister: Looking for one

Weapon Form: Purple colored iron flute etched with blue morning glories. The flute may be played or used as a blunt weapon in combat. It's light in weight but can deliver fatal blows if used properly. While in this form her soul wavelength manifests as purple colored sound waves. The sound waves may be shaped differently depending on the will of the meister. The energy may also be shaped to act as a protective barrier. When resonating with her meister the flowers will glow brightly sending out ripples of blue colored energy. Depending on the song that is played by Ora's meister the energy can affect her enemies as well a her allies in combat.

Love Interest: None

Orientation (Sexual/Romantic): Bisexual

Appearance: Tall, thin with porcelain colored skin and violet eyes. Her hair is naturally brown but she''s able to change it to any color pf her choosing through her feelings. Typically she keeps it purple as befitting her weapon form. She wears clothing that is very muted in color. Rarely does she expose her torso and she wears only clothes with sleeves to cover her arms.  She loves to wear skirts but only if she has tights to match. She carries a black satchel with her that contains her diary. Every year she gets a new one but it's always purple or blue.

Personality: She's very routine and prefers things to be orderly. She doesn't really show emotions and will only talk to others if she feels they are trustworthy.  Shy and reclusive she prefers to be alone somewhere where there's shade and silence. Despite being a bit gloomy she prefers music that is very upbeat and loves to dance. She's talented in tap, swing, ballet and just about every form of interpretive dancing.  Other hobbies include writing, drawing, sometimes she'll sing but never in public. She loves the outdoors but stays in the shade if it's too bright. What she looks for in a friend is someone who's not judgemental or self absorbed but is kind and laid back. She will not work with someone who has an inflated ego or feels that they have some right to possess her. Though she is withdrawn and indifferent towards others she can lash out at someone if pushed to the edge. This will usually end badly for those who antagonize her. She possesses a great level of kindness and compassion. If she feels someone deserves her kindness she won't hesitate to give it to them.

History: Ora, Orabelle Noel Marie, was born to Evelyn Marie via c-section. Her mother died due to birthing complications and her father abandoned Evelyn when he learned she was pregnant. Ora was an orphan her entire life, but when she was 10 she was kidnapped by a trio of witches. They sensed the weapon within Ora and needed her as a tool for killing rival witches.  A young boy, raised and trained by the witches, became Ora's meister. He was cold and calculating and treated Ora badly. The witches trained them together for one year. When the year had passed they fought their first witch, and lost miserably.  The witches punished Ora severely. She was left in a dungeon cell for weeks without clothing or contact. When she reemerged from the cell the witches trained Ora and her meister in more horrible ways.  Ora wasn't able to keep up with her meister and their souls could not resonate.  The witches gave up and threw her back into the cells.  For two years the boy would show up and beat her until he grew bored with her.  She'd bite into her arms to endure the pain leaving scars in her skin. She often thought of ending her life, but a spell placed on her cell kept her alive. The days seemed to last forever until one day a group of strange men arrived. They slaughtered the witches and their young meister. They arrived at Ora's cell and found her badly injured and seemingly near death. They clothed and fed her while she was in her cell because she could not leave it.  When she was finally gained enough strength she was able to leave the cell. She was bundled and flown to a hospital. She remained asleep in her bed for five days.  When she woke she was hysteric. The nursing staff had to sedate her many times until she was move to a ward for monitoring.  She was transported to a psychiatric clinic and remained there for two years. She endured scolding evaluations and grew numb from being sedated constantly. She had lost faith in herself and everyone around her. She'd starve herself trying to end her pain. She was, however, sedated again and again  then force fed by the institute's staff. She would repeat this ritual daily but failed each time.

As the months passed Ora became a ghost. Pale and deathly gaunt she would sit in her cell day after day motionless. Helpless and abandoned this became her life until one day she had a visitor.  A woman with a kind face and a loving voice approached her.  She would talk to Ora but get no response.  When conversation failed the woman returned with books and would read them to Ora. She read her Alice in Wonderland, The Hobbit, and The Lord of The Rings, The Wizard of Oz, and many others. Gradually Ora opened up and would engage in conversation with the woman. The woman brought with her cassette tapes for Ora to listen to. When Ora had learned the words they would sing the songs together.  Eventually Ora had gained enough strength to leave her room but still preferred  areas with shade. They'd sit with others which made Ora incredibly nervous.  With time, however, Ora could tolerate the company of other people but still she preferred to be alone.  The Woman then bought her a diary to write in.  Everyday Ora wrote about her feelings and what she'd been through.  She'd filled her first diary within three months.  The woman bought her another and Ora finished that one in half the time it took for the last.  She was bought another and this one took half a year because it had more pages. During this time when she was writing in her diaries the woman taught her to dance. In her spare time, Ora would watch videos in her room teaching her new forms of dance.  One day during their visit the woman brought Ora a pair of tap shoes. Ora became enthralled by her new shoes and would dance in them daily. Up and down the tiled hallways she'd perform for the other residents at the institution and they admired every second of it. Though she could only dance in them during the day because the sound disrupted some of the others at night.  She loved to read and sing and learned how to draw.

Eventually she was able to go outside again.  The air felt amazing on her skin.  She forgot what it felt like to be outdoors. One day, while sitting under a tree alone, a man approached her. She didn't know who he was but he talked to her.  He asked her questions about herself making her feel uncomfortable. She didn't answer him. When he asked her different questions she'd pretend he wasn't there. He grew frustrated and asked her more personal questions which made her walk away. He became enraged and grabbed her by her hair. He was going to beat her but she screamed. Her scream could be heard for miles. The force of her voice pushed the man away and into the street where he was nearly hit. Ora's friend, the woman, heard her scream and rushed outside. She saw who the man was and recognized his face.  Together they contacted the authorities and the man was arrested for trespassing and was found guilty for committing horrific crimes to other women. Ora Stayed in her room for two days listening to her music and writing about her experience.  She remembered her power as a weapon and wanted to use it to protect herself and others.  She emerged from her room and spoke to her friend.  She asked for any contacts that could help her find a job and schooling so she could control her powers.  The woman agreed and they began their search for institutions for weapons like Ora.

Soul Count: 15 from her days training with the witches.

Miscellaneous: Ora has been practicing her skills! She knows a few new tricks and would like to share them.  Siren's Serenade: Utilizing Ora her meister can play a song that is capable lulling those who hear it into a state of delirium. The effects vary on the strength of their opponent and the song works only if they can hear it. Requiem of Remembrance: Through the power of Ora's song her meister can raise spirits of the deceased to protect them. Currently Ora's song is only able to summon will-o'-the- wisps but it's getting there.  Battle Bolero: Through the power of song Ora's meister can raise their soul resonance rate and anyone who resonates with them. Harmonic Globule: Ora's meister can utilize their soul wavelength to form a protective bubble of harmonic energy. Wail of Wrath: Utilizing Ora's flute form, her meister can play notes for various effects. The notes manifest as purple wavelength blasts in the form of numerous projectiles like darts, fists, daggers or explosive flowers. Other than their shape, these projectiles aren't always under the meister's control and aren't very accurate. At the moment they aren't that powerful either as they can be deflected by stronger weapons. Ora can change the color of her hair, eyes and her clothing at will. Depending on her mood this may manifest spontaneously. The origins of this ability are unknown. Most likely it is a trait inherited through a relative.

Yo! Pretty good character you have here. You should describe her weapon form a little more, since the section needs to be 100 words long. Though it's not necessary, I'd also split the history into a few paragraphs, since a wall of text is hard on the eyes.

The abilities should be ones that her Meister can use through her weapon form, so dancing is probably not going to work, eh? Also, the meister is the one who will be using them along with Ora, rather than Ora herself doing it. Siren's Serenade will only be usable on OC's if the person who owns the character agrees to it. There's a rule against controlling other people's characters otherwise.
