Are we Hunters or Partners??? I'm Confused! (Nana & Foster/Smith Partnership; So much chaos)

Nunally decided to play fair and turned off many systems on her computer. She wanted to think on her own, even if she has never played scrabble before. The girl started searching for a nice word combination. She was about to give up but then suddenly... "Egg". The first word she found was "egg". "I've never played this game before but... It seems fun. " The girl said

Jasmine leaned over to see the youngest girl's phone, furrowing her brow at it. "I suck at this one. Why couldn't it have been like a word search game? I can do those." She laughed though and moved aside to let them play. They'd need to entertain themselves somehow; the desert had little in the way of sites to offer. This left Joseph largely bored, with Jasmine checking in with Justice to make sure that Lucia was doing well. Lily, meanwhile was competitively attempting to play the game.

For Nunally the game seemed interesting at first, but she quickly became bored after a few minutes of playing it. She started thinking that actually, boredom in Death City isn't that bad. On the other hand, it seemed like they didn't even have any plan and for her Joseph was simply driving through the desert without a destination. An idea suddenly popped into her head. She sent a text message to Lily- "Lily, can you sing?"

Not the greatest, she said, sending a message back to the woman when the pop up text showed. Lily was not just being modest, but honest; she could sing, but she couldn't necessarily reach or hold certain notes.

Nunally grinned when she got the message. There was a really interesting idea sitting on her mind. The meister quickly wrote a reply and sent it to the weapon- "Okay then, would you like to have a little in-car karaoke party?" Wouldn't it be a perfect time killer? At least that's what Nana had thought.

Lily's eyes lit up and she bumped the back of Nana's seat, peaking around it to nod at her when Nunally looked. Clearly, she was excited. Jasmine looked over curiously, catching the movement from the corner of her eye, but she said nothing, merely raising a brow and redirecting her focus out the window.

Nunally grinned and looked over at the weapon, before raising her thumb up. She immediately sent her another text message- "Choose a song! Let's surprise these two!" Nana seemed incredibly proud of her little plan as it would definitely light up the mood a bit and at least somehow make the trip more interesting... or at least more enjoyable... For the meister and Lilian.

Lily fiddled around for a moment before she remembered that her phone could hook to the sound system. Connecting it to the car, she began searching for something in her recent music history. Eventually, she settled on a song and texted the name and band to Nunally. When she got a confirmation, she began playing the song, grinning, though she had her head ducked down as if she was reading something very important on her phone; she was: the lyrics.

Nunally quickly downloaded lyrics for the song they were about to start singing. She wondered, what would the twins' reaction be? Will they join the party or rather stare at them like at two weirdos? Nana was a bit afraid to embarrass herself as she was a little bit unconfident about her singing skills. At least Lily was on her side. The meister closed her eyes. "3, 2, 1..."" She counted... and then the song started.

Lily swallowed hard, her own nerves shaking a little bit, equal parts nervous and excited. After Nunally's singing, she picked up the pre-chorus and chorus for herself:

Beside the meister, Joseph was giving a look that showed he was trying to mask something. Usually, it was his prim and proper way of making it seem like he was emotionless. Really, it more tended to make him seem angry and self-righteous. Next to Lily, Jazz was grinning, reaching a hand over and squeezing her hand gently.

Nunally grinned but kept her eyes closed. It was fun! Lots of fun! Because no one seemed to be complaining, the girl got a slight confidence boost. The stress was still present, but thanks to Lily, Nana was getting used to singing near her friends.

After the chorus ended, Nunally giggled and looked at Lilian. She winked at her and showed her a thumb up. The meister came to a conclusion that singing is actually more fun when you have someone to share your enjoyment with. Nana quickly looked at Joseph. She was slightly disappointed by his reaction. "At least he isn't complaining or anything..." She thought and got ready for a verse:

Lily wasn't used to singing around people; she hadn't even let her brother hear her since they were young. She was proud of herself, right now, proud and happy to be singing along with their partner. It was amusing, fun, and carefree. Besides, she knew her brother well enough to see the slightest movement of his lips; he was singing along!

Nana was enjoying their little karaoke so much, she forgot about the whole world. Her love for music was great and singing was her favorite hobby. Nunally was happy that she finally shared that hobby with her partners. She looked at her partners with a wide smile and said- "Let's sing together everyone!" A happy giggle followed her words and then-

Jasmine picked up on the lyrics more than well enough to be able to join in on the repeated chorus, though she mainly found herself humming to the rest of the words. Lily was keeping up with Nana in perfect time, however, singing along happily, joyously, even. Joseph was less blatant about his singing, still merely mouthing the words, but when everyone else dropped off at the repeated title, anyone that knew the song would notice the voice that didn't belong --- Joe's --- singing along.

Once the song ended Nana started clapping her hands vigorously. She was proud of her partners. Even Joe joined them! The meister had to admit, she would never expect him to join their little karaoke party. "Yes! We nailed it! You're awesome!" Nunally told them with a wide smile, barely controlling her excitement. With a giggled, she started staring at Joseph. "Singing together is so much fun..." The girl commented and closed her eyes. Her smile wouldn't leave her.

The slightest discoloration painted the tops of his cheeks, but he'd never admit to it, would not allow anyone to comment on it. Instead, he merely smiled, ever so slightly, and continued to stare out the window, driving them along. They''d be at the nearest mall, soon. It would give the girls a chance to relax, have some sort of spa day. Joseph still wasn't quite sure what he'd do with himself. Perhaps, he figured, he could catch an early bird shot at Christmas presents. He did, afterall, have several people to account for, and no "assistant" to help him do so, not like he would have back home.

Nunally looked at Lily and Jasmine and winked at them while pointing her finger at Joseph. The girls received a text from the meister- "He's blushing! :D". Nana giggled and finally said. "Thanks Lily for singing with me." She said, before winking again.

Jasmine found herself smirking, covering the gesture with her hand while texting back a ";D" smilie to the meister. Lily didn't seem to think anything of it, smiling happily at their partner. "Anytime!" The youngest sister said cheerfully before pointing out that they were arriving in a parking lot.

Nunally looked out through the window immediately. A mall? The meister closed her eyes for a second to check whether there's something important on her "to buy list" she'd been preparing for quite some time. With a smirk, she remembered that her list was almost empty. "At least I can go window shopping with the girls..." The meister thought as she looked at her weapons.

Joseph had every intention of wandering off to do his own thing, but he sought out to escort the girls indoors before doing so. Jasmine had her wallet changed to her hip --- Joe had specifically invested in a near one for her that was tear proof and couldn't be scanned. Lily had her purse swinging against her hip, but otherwise the girls didn't really carry anything more than their phones. Hell, they didn't even know what they wanted to look at. Still, Joe went over, with each of them individually three times that they all had their phone volume turned up all of the way and him on speed dial. As though anything would happen! Lily seemed more than used to this, and even found it a little endearing, giggling at her brother's random mother hen tendencies. Jasmine, however, was less than amused.

Nunally just shook her head, smiling slightly at Josephs behavior. "He's so overprotective sometimes... It's not a bad thing though... I kinda like it... "kinda"? I lo... "love" it? Weird... Weird? Come on Nana, what's wrong with you? You just like that part of him! What's the problem then? That's the point, there's none." The girl thought as she looked at the weapon and when she realized how strange were her thoughts, a barely visible blush appeared on her face. Nana looked at the building and sighed. It was quite huge. Obviously, with her brain getting lost in it would be impossible, but visiting all the shops in the area seemed impossible. "So, where do we start?" Nunally asked them.

"Wherever we want." Jasmine said with a shrug, eyeing Joe as he finally walked off and left them in peace. Lily seemed to be the only one of them that noticed Nana's reaction, and she was keeping quite, though smirking. "What do you want to look at? Clothes? Bath stuff? Nerdy things? Music?" Jazz knew the answer before she asked; it was Nana, afterall.

"W-Well then... We could visit a music shop first... " Nunally replied with her arms folded on her chest. The meister knew that the weapon knew. The siblings knew their meister too well. "Then, if you have nothing against it, I'd like to visit an electronic store" The meister added. "T-Then maybe... just maybe... some clothes... I think I need a new shirt for my school uniform." Nana thought.

With a silent nod, Jasmine lead them over to the nearest map stand, looking it over before finding a few stores. Lily, meanwhile, circled the stand until she found a paper map, happily bringing it to her sister. With a soft thanks, Jazz began marking the stores in question with a pen Lily also provided before handing the map to Nana. She was the most likely one to not lose it. "Pick whichever one you want to go to, first." She said, her voice and smile warm as she switched her gaze, intermittently, between the sister that was looking at all the store names and the meister that was clearly embarrassed and distracted.

Nana looked over at the map that'd been provided to her. It was a good distraction. She took a short moment to remember and scan the map, just in case the paper one got lost, then she started wondering where they should start. The meister quickly forgot about her weird thoughts and fully focused on their newest adventure. "Alright-y, then! If no one has anything against it, I'd start from the closest music shop. Perhaps I'll discover something new and interesting to listen to... after that...
After that... I don't know! We'll see!" Nana told them with a wide smile on her face. She was curious if the two wanted to add something to their current plan.
