| The sound of birds above were stirring to a suit of armor. Another night was spent dwelling within the metal suit of her body. No- it wasn't exactly her body, but it was more an extension of it. Nevertheless, she was prepared to raise once more to her feet.
Soft metal clanging resonated as she pulled herself to her feet. Her brown eyes absorbed everything around her and the light was the first. It kind of hurt, but she was soon adjusted and looking about. It was dawn, school would be starting soon, so there was nothing like an early start.
After running a lap or two around her rounds, she returned to teh entrance and remained relatively unaffected. The looks of people around her never changed, though. "Are you insane?" Their eyes seemed to question the insane woman who did laps in a full-body metal suit. However, to Amadi, she could no longer feel the weight. It was just slight pressure, but it felt right when she moved in it. So alive. Perseverance was a wonderful thing.
She stepped her way through the halls and stepped into her classroom. As she sat in her seat, it creaked loudly in rejection. If the chair had a voice, then Amadi may have felt bad for it. Her helmet remained on and she simply stared agead; thinking of her routine for after class. |

| The dirt of her combat boots fell as small crumbs when one propped over the other, resting atop the wooden tables. Zandra had a bored expression, running the red ribbon that matched the color of her lips between her fingers, watching as it ran through like the elegant silk of a flowing dress before wrapping them about once more and repeating the process. She sighed, glancing to the chalkboard and not really paying much attention to the text written on it.
"I thought she was a robot at first," one student would say. It didn't really catch Zandra's curiosity. They were probably talking of some petty mission.
Though that was proven wrong, so the creaks of metal rubbing off against each other made Zandra cringe. She looked next to her, the creaking especially loud when the supposed 'Robot' sat down. She paused, pulling her feet off her desk and leaning her arms against it instead. She took a long look at Amadi, green hues scanning up and down the figure curiously. "I take it you're a weapon." she assumed in a casual, careless tone, as if unphased by the odd outfit the individual dcided to take upon. "People will talk crap in this school, but I doubt that gets to you, I can tell." she commented, sitting back again with arms folded over her chest.
This person must have worn it as a sort of barrier physically and emotionally. She wondered to herself what sort of things they went through, but didn't pry. They must have had a strong soul, and she should definitely keep that in mind if they were to ever become allies.
"Zandra Asami." she greeted. |

| At first, within her zone, Amadi did not realize someone was talking to her. The warrior was deep in debate on whether she should run extra laps or do extra push-ups. What would be the best way to maximize her training while remaining atop her schedule? Her thoughts were interrupted by the people murmuring and someone seemed to ask her a question.
Before Amadi could truly respond, she was guessing that the knight didn't care. Very observant. Amadi noted that with a silent grin beneath her helm. Yes. She didn't care anymore what they thought of her. Her armor was strong, and that made HER strong by default. Even sticks and stones would be harmless from such beautiful work.
The young woman made an introduction as Zandra. Amadi nodded towards her, but it was hard to see, naturally. "This one is pleased to make acquaintance with you, Miss Asami. You are a very keen lady indeed." Her words curled into a sort of amused tone. "They do not bother this one, as this one has heard it all before, but a weapon this one is."
She swept herself out of her seat for a moment, only to bow. "And you? Be you Meister or weapon, yourself?" It wasn't like Amadi had any way to know, so she figured to ask. It was conversation, right? She wasn't exactly sure how that went.

| Seeing that the armored person didn't make a response at first began to piss off Zandra quite easily, but only showing that when her eyebrow twitched from slight annoyance, otherwise, no other expression was made. As they exchanged a glass from green hues to the shadow beneath the helmet, she can almost see that grin through the helmet. When she had finally responded, Zandra assumed that she was one who put her words into deep thought before saying them aloud, always being cautious with what she said, which would most definitely help in the long run.
Her olden talk as when referring herself constantly as 'this one', Zandra could see in the future, as obnoxious to most, but she supposed she can put up with it. It wasn't like she would be insulting to her, or then it would be a problem. She liked a person with such confidence, or perhaps it was a mask? She planned to find out soon enough. Keep friends close and enemies closer. She wears such armor for reasons, and she obviously has strength to show off. If Zandra were to ever get on her bad side, she'd have the upper hand with a bit of knowledge of her personal information.
"Keen is just one of the many postive phrases to describe me," Zandra said in an arrogant tone and a tiny little smirk pulling at the corner of her lips. "You have a lot of guts, walking around with that fashion like it's no one's business. I respect that." she said in all honesty. It wasn't every day you come across someone so unlike most other students- or rather, people all over this Earth: Someone who holds their head high.
"Pleasure to meet you too," she said in a voice that sounded as if she had no intention of being actual friends, but was polite nonetheless. Zandra hadn't planned on making any friends at all. Weapons were used in battles, controlled by Meisters, in order to make a Death Scythe. Nothing more, nothing less.
"Meister," Zandra nodded, the smirk fading off her lips to go back to her cold and stoic expression. "Quite close of making a Death Scythe as well if it weren't for a stupid witch." she tacked on with a shrug. |

| A meister it seemed. Quite the cocky one as well, or from how she acted, it seemed. Amadi was quite curious. What had brought the attention to talk to her. Other than her odd fashion sense, it wasn't as if Amadi had done anything to bother the woman. At least the conversations were pleasant. It could be a whole lot worse, she had to admit.
"A very impressive feat." Her words proved sincerity, since Amadi wasn't the type to lie. Those who were chivalrous did not lie. "It is said that the witches are the hardest of the trials to bringing for a death scythe. However, this one only knows from the stories told." To be truthful, Amadi sort of wanted to no more about the adventure, but as having just met the woman, she felt it would be prying too much to ask. After all, what if that was personal?
"Anyways. The way this one speaks, is not to be offense. It is more an acceptance of oneself for what they are as opposed to the confusion of what they were." Was that understandable? It seemed kind of choppy even by her standards. She didn't want to make the conversation too deep, since that would cause some serious problems with first speaking to someone.
"The style chosen is that which reflects a shield- a person willing to defend a Meister, no matter what, as any weapon should." She was smiling again at the thought. Her previous meister, as brief as the time was, gave her such an exciting feeling of being needed; of being able to protect. Back in her seat, it creaked some with her shifting weight. "This one does hope that next time is a success for you. It seems a long road ahead to becoming one such a warrior." |

| Zandra could practically feel those eyes scanning and judging her through that metallic helmet. It was no secret they were observing each other very intently, but Zandra surely hadn't minded. Let her envy her, be intimidated, or respect her perhaps. Perhaps all, for intimidation is a form or respect. Fear does control all, after all. It was obviously controlling 'This one's' very being. She was fearful of getting hurt, perhaps, or fearful of being figured out. Does she really believe armor can hide her forever? No from Zandra Asami, she can't, not at the least.
As she spoke of the battles of witches, Zandra became quiet for the moment, glancing to the side and staring to nothingness as the flashbacks flew in and out before her mind.
His scream of agony would forever haunt her. They had spoken of death before that, long before that; and how they both feared it. Why had he saved her? Idiot. With that stupid smile as he went limp in her lap too. The laughter from his eyes had faded and the smile was stuck. But she knew better. He was afraid of death, just as much as she was. The damn idiot.
Zandra stuffed a hand in the pocket of her hoodie, clenching the ribbon in her fist. "Fuck witches." she muttered simply under her breath, looking back forward with a eyes filled with grief and guilt instead of the usual empty gloom. Though when she spoke, she honestly pondered what she said, squinting her eyes slightly. "Acceptance of what they are as to confusion of what they were..." she repeated curiously. Interesting.
As she spoke of her 'style', Zandra assumed she meant her style of clothing, and found that she nearly hit the mark. A shield to defend a Meister, not a shield to defend herself? She could hear the smile and happiness in her tone. "What's your Meister like, exactly?" Zandra asked in sudden curiosity, completely ignoring the 'Good luck' given to her. Zandra frankly didn't believe in luck. It was all on you if you win or lose. |

| The girl beside her seemed to stir at her comments. Had she been offended? Amadi wondered silently. From beneath her helm, she was staring curiously at the woman. The pain on her face was obvious and she was quite happy she had not spoken on the subject. It could be assumed something had happened that had drastically changed the way the woman saw things, perhaps? There was hatred in her voice as she cursed and Amadi understood for a brief moment that this woman felt guilt of something, but what, she wasn't ready to read.
Zandra seemed to contemplate over something, though what it was kind of missed Amadi's ears. The bad thing about a large suit of armor is that it was hard to hear at times.
Then came the question that Amadi cringed at. Her Meister? It was simple and yet complex at the same time. The truth was hard to state at times, and still hard to accept. "This one no longer has one." Something of a sigh slipped from her lips. "The precious Lord had found one much more suiting to his needs and now, this one fights on her own, for now." The tinge of sadness disappeared. "However, one day faith will lead me to a new lord that this one shall defend." A glorious day ahead! Amadi could hardly wait. She was excited just thinking about it. |

| Zandra stirred in her seat, folding one leg to rest on the other and leaned on the table. Damn, she let her guard down. Zandra had always made such a straight face so difficult to read for a purpose. She hated being read and exposed, hated it. She wanted the upper hand. She can't continue to let her stupid like Romeo story get to her anymore; it had happened about what? 2 years ago? Get over yourself, Zandra.
As Zandra asked about the other's Meister, she could sense the hesitance, seeing she had to think very carefully in what to answer. She stroke a nerve. Gotcha.
"I see... I apologize, I do hope you find another Meister just as worthy." Zandra said sincerely with a small bow of her head, folding her fingers together and setting them on the desk, glancing down to them as if guilty, though behind her emotionless expression was hidden a sneer. If I got this right, she was ditched. I wonder why?
Despite the fact Amadi had gotten back to a confident attitude once more, Zandra knew where her soft spot was, just in case. |

| Amadi couldn't help but grin behind the helm. It wasn't as if anyone could really see through to it. She always fought being seen. She was just a weapon, there was nothing more to her, so why would emotion be readable? She couldn't help the smile though. It felt good to talk, even if the conversation was beginning to die.
Yes.. another worthy Meister. It was hard to see herself with anyone else, because everyone else fled from her or avoided her. She wasn't normal like most weapons. She wasn't easy to use, because her form was a bit bulky and hard to use, but it didn't stop her from trying to be useful one day. There were even some weapons that could function without Meisters, maybe one day she could be like that?
No. It wouldn't feel right, without someone to protect. She doubted she could function fully in a fight if she had no one to defend. This woman beside her seemed annoyed. Again, Amadi had to wonder what exactly it was that made the woman upset. Had she said something? why did she even care? Come the end of the day, this woman would be another person she'd met, then likely never saw again. But..she should enjoy it as it lasted.
"One day hopefully. This one anxiously awaits for when the new master comes to be." Amadi paused a moment. "Until then. This one shall train this body." When the day came, she would be ready. |

| Zandra made her lips form a thin line, her thumbs twindling together as the rest of her fingers interlocked. This weapon was strange, a good kind of strange. She seemed strong, useful, most definitely powerful in battle. Well, how exactly powerful if her former Meister left? Perhaps the armor sends the wrong image, and she's merely a weakling looking for protection.
Faith will lead me to a new lord this one shall defend, isn't that what she had said. Zandra pondered this. No, she was most definitely strong and powerful, perhaps there was something about her attitude, or maybe a horrid past that caused her to where this armor to this day scared off her Meister. Zandra can see herself handling it. A horrid past would be excellent to know, actually. However, one thing about partnering up with Amid had made her very hesitant about the idea.
The 'Defend' part. Zandra wanted no more people dying for her. That's the last thing she wanted. No more sacrifices. If Zandra were to die, she were to die by her own fault.
"I'm doing the same." she had said simply, glancing to Amadi with a small grin at one side of her red lips, "I'm actually heading to the Training Grounds right after school. You can come along if you'd like." Zandra offered nonchalantly, "We'll both be training and would probably end up meeting there, right?" she pointed out, "Hey, what sort of weapon are you anyways? Wait- Let me guess- Sword, hm? Something someone like those Princes would wield in stories." she guessed. |

| "A sword?" Amadi couldn't help but laugh. A short and amused laugh. She hadn't intended to mock her if it seemed that, way but the thought of being a sword was amusing. She could only imagine what life would be like had she been a sword instead of what she truly was.
"No, M'Lady. This one's form is that of a lance. A spear of those of old." She was grinning again. The memory of the first time she had been held by him. His utter shock was still on her face. "You're a WHAT? You're huge!" Well in actuality there were things far heavier than she, but it was admittedly not common. Most were of blades that were quick and easy to use.
"Yes. Training does sound wonderful, though. It is something this one enjoys." Her eyes closed and she smiled. It was strange, feeling so.. happy? How odd that the moment could go from depressing to light-hearted in a second's notice. "If you do not mind, then this one shall be there."
She paused. To think that she hadn't planned on doing much on this day. It was shocking to think she found someone who took interest in her after so long. Maybe there was something actually special about this woman that made her immune to Amadi's 'weirdness'. It was a thought to ponder. |

| She narrowed her eyes as the other let out the small round of giggles. She figured her point was wrong, but what's with the reaction? Has she thought she was so above that of a sword? What was so special about her?
Her eyes widened slightly in surprise when Amadi revealed herself as a spear. "Really now?" she hummed, pondering the thought. How would a spear be useful in battle other than throwing? She thought, then coming up with possible very useful tactics such a weapon would be used. Interesting. "It'd take a very skillful Meister, such as myself, to think of many tacts when using a lance in battle." Zandra commented with a fond smile, sitting back and rubbing her chin.
"Wonderful, I'd like to see your skill, actually." Zandra grinned. Amadi was a fun person to examine, and she can only imagine what sort of destruction she can cause on her own. "Perhaps a spar later, sound fun?" she proposed, raaising a brow at the other. "It's been a long time since I've seen a little Weapon-Meister spar, after all. 2 years or so, I'd say." she commented in a hum.
Perhaps if this weapon was worthy, she would be interested in partnering up with her, maybe. Maybe. The fact she seemed so loyal like a canine, willing to defend the one in need certainly wouldn't apply well to Zandra in the future. |

| A spar. That was a word she hadn't heard in a while. Amadi would have compared it more as a duel, however, it was exciting to her. A battle to see who where their skills rested. Amadi hadn't battled a Meister before, though. Could she do it? It was against the rules, however... This was different. This was playful fun. Amusing that Amadi could still have fun with her stern regime.
She straightened herself within her seat. Zandra seemed entertained by the idea that Amadi was a lance. Yes, it was a rarer weapon and yes, it was hard to use. But as with any weapon, a person could learn to use it if they could match up enough. There were so many things she didn't exactly understand yet.
"Yes. A spar later sounds perfect." This would allow her to gather information on how much she had grown since her Meister left her. She could only be stronger, right? It hadn't killed her, so it had to have made her stronger. Amadi grinned once more; for once excited for something more than just doing laps around Death City. |

| Zandra couldn't hide her grin of satisfaction at the weapon's reaction to her proposal, already knowing her answer. She seemed excited, and eager, and with that made Zandra feel just as anxious to get out of class and stretch those muscles. Zandra was quite amazing in hand-to-hand combat, if she said so herself, even without a weapon. Whomever would pair up with this woman would be considered to be one of the best fighters of DWMA automatically. It was talent like that Zandra almost wished she were weapon, becoming a Death Scythe on her own. How lucky would that be... Independence and dangerous, that's an amazing combination to Zandra. She always envies those types of weapons who could fight alone. Being a Meister, she needed a weapon to get anywhere.
"Those are some nice moves, girly." he would say. Girly... It was always a tease to Zandra, but she had grown used to the little nickname and others, just from him however. Oh if only he were still there... They were unstoppable, back then. Legendary partners, taking out contaminated souls one after the other. She had become so close to being a legendary Meister. She was so close, and now, never so far.
"Excellent." Zandra smiled at her acceptance, "Be sure to not go easy on me. I don't expect disappointment." she hummed. The very thought made her heart race. What was this armored weapon capable of? She was itching to know. This was going to be much better than just smacking around targets. |

| Amadi nodded in response to Zandra. Don't go easy? Don't disappoint? Well, she could try her best. That was really all anyone could every give. Her brown eye stared at Zandra; trying to read her silently. "As you wish, M'lady. This one shall give its all." Her voice was raising a bit from the obvious excitement. A challenge and training. Could this day get any better?
"However, it is asked that you do the same. If this one shall not hold back, then you should not either." She was suggesting more than demanding, however her booming voice begged to differ. Her suit creaked a bit to show her movements. Hopefully the armor wouldn't have to come off. Without it, Amadi would be useless. It wasn't that she couldn't fight, but how she wasn't sure how to function without it anymore.
"This one shall eagerly await for class to end then." Amadi's heart skipped a beat. A true warrior was ready to do battle, but really she felt a slight bit nervous. There was a lot riding on this. She couldn't let nerves get her, though. She was confident and she knew she'd do well. There was no other option. If there had been, she couldn't see it. She wouldn't let this slip by her, she was stronger than that. |

| Zandra nodded, glancing back forward to the instructor, their words going in one ear and out the other as she had a bored expression. Though at Amadi's command, Zandra hadn't yet turned her head to her, a small grin creeping up her lips. Her green hues moved to glance up toward her helmet, "Just hope that I won't have to." she said simply. *~*~*~* The bell for dismissal had rung, and Zandra yawned, kicking her feet off of the table and picking up the bag from the floor by her chair. "I thought it'd never end." she said in an impatient tone, grinning as she slung the bag over her shoulder and looked toward Amadi. Her grin showed excitement and she motioned for Amadi to follow her. "I know the Training Grounds from here like the back of my hand." she commented, starting to walk out of the room and expecting the armored woman to be right behind her. "I've fought plenty without a weapon for a while now, so don't go on thinking you have the upper hand. Right now I'm thinking I do, but my challenge to you is to prove me wrong." Zandra stated, looking over her shoulder with a devious smirk on her features. "Surely you can take that much up, can't you?" she hummed. |

| The bell rang and class was over. Amadi's chair was relieved as the woman in the suit stood to her feet. Gentle creaking resounded as it adjusted back to normal.
This woman was very cocky and confident. She believed to be better than Amadi and they barely just met? Well, it was quite possible, but somehow Amadi saw them on an even playing ground. She never looked down upon an opponent. If this woman was willing to challenge someone in a body of armor, then surely she would be more than met the eye. She was strong or stupid, but judging how she saw, it was confidence. Or maybe a challenge? Amadi wasn't the best at reading people.
They continued to walk about, with Amadi following. No, it wasn't a silent walk, because the armor was rather loud. Each footstep could be heard rather clearly through the halls. Her footsteps probably left marks in the floor, but only just a bit, because otherwise she would probably have to repair them. The stares never stopped. In fact there were even more confused look, with Amadi walking behind another person, almost like an animal on a leash.
All she had to do was prove that Zandra was wrong? Well, that could mean a lot of things. She assumed it was about the strength aspect, but Amadi couldn't help but wonder if there was something more to it. Prove her that she was worthy, perhaps? The thrill in her veins stirred as they neared. "If you so wish, so shall it be." Old fashioned as ever, Amadi nodded to Zandra. She would give her all, because there was nothing that would be more effective. |

| Zandra may have already come off as that cocky asshole people hate, but she couldn't have cared less, now. She honestly was nothing like this a few years ago.
She wore no make-up, her hair was in pigtails, and she wore glasses. Zandra was the typical geek, just without straight A's. She was an average student. THere was nothing special about her, except being an orphan, but so were many kids. But for some reason he saw something special in her, he brought her out of that shell and into his home. When they were together she was sweet, honest, compassionate, and outgoing. Nothing like now. Everyone loved her, and she was happy with the world.
She found the meaning of life: It was to give meaning to someone else's life. And to pass it on upon others. But when her meaning to life was crushed forever, she snapped.
Perhaps acting like an asshole would drive people away. No one would be hurt again, she processed. And that way of life just stuck to her.
As they walked down the halls, she looked side to side to the stares of students, the duo walking together. Her face remained stoic, so she contained the sneer rather well. She felt praised, as if she has tamed a wild beast to obey her every command. It was fitting. She could grow rather used to this attention. She didn't hear the words of their murmurs, but she felt pride nonetheless. As if she could be the powerhouse of this school once more.
Zandra walked out the door, pushed it a bit harsher for Amadi to walk through as well before it closed but didn't bother holding it. She smirked as the gossips of the duo grew loud just as the door shut.
"You're pretty famous." she commented, stuffing her hands in her pockets as they walked on. "No one seems to want to mess with you. I guess that armor comes off a bit intimidating to some, I can see." Zandra guessed, motioning to the other. |

| Subject: Re: Thus enters the knight -harhar- (Open) September 9th 2013, 6:21 pm | |
| You're pretty famous. The thought made Amadi laugh. Her? Famous? HA! If that were only such. It was more akin to infamy as she was a walking suit of armor. Most people just avoided her from the sight alone. Well there was a good reason for it. If you had a choice to challenge a person clad in metal or just avoid them, logically it was more likely that you'd avoid them. Well on normal circumstances.
She followed Zandra's motions towards the others who were afraid. Amusing how Amadi didn't have to do a thing and terrify people. It made her smile a bit, not out of amusement for their suffering, but more out of the fact they looked so ridiculous while they cowered about someone who wouldn't touch them. It was as if they were terrified of the dark or the monsters in their closets- well that could actually be true. Some witches were cruel enough to curse people's closets. Or so Amadi had heard.
"Are you sure it is this one they fear and not you?" Her words cut through the air. The people were parting like the red sea. Quite ironic in the situation and yet completely strange in its own way. Her chocolate eyes were locked upon the leader. Her feet marched behind. A sort of tune echoed in the air from the rhythmic motions. Her own song. She was adding a tune to the dancing of the woman before her (Even though they weren't really dancing). |

| Zandra had to pause at the suggestion, pondering it for the moment. Well, she was an odd one, wasn't she? Did she not see how intimidating one would look to wear such armor? It gave off such threat, mystery, and strength. Did she not realize it? Though it seemed pretty legit how Zandra would give off such an intimidating vibe with her presence alone. It's not like that hadn't happened before.
"Or both." she proposed, "I've gotta say, you look tough by looks alone. And people have seen the sort of shit I can do." she informed, rather careless with her cursing in the process, "I bet they're imagine the sort of destruction a duo such as us is capable of. You being a weapon and I a skilled Meister, people will put two and two together." she stated, "I personally have no intention of taking you under my wing. At the moment at least." And she spoke not another word of the matter.
Zandra stopped at the training grounds. it was an open area, tall trees surrounding its perimeter. The targets painted on either wood or stuffed dummies, obviously having taken much damage from previous trainings. She grinned, taking the red ribbong from her pocket and pulling the long locks of her hair in one hand, tiying it about in a tight ponytail using the ribbon. She walked across the open space, about 20 feet from Amadi before turning on her heel to face her, a wide smirk on her features. "I'm usually not the one to make the first move," she said simply, tilting her head to the side at the other. |

| Quietly she followed Zandra. Yes, she could do this. It had been a while since she had a decent challenge, so it would do her good to stretch her legs. She stood twenty feet from Zandra and the woman raised her body to a fighting positon. Offensive mainly, her body was ready to move.
Amadi stood her ground and nodded. "Very well, this one shall begin." Her eyes were stern from beneath the helmet and in a second's notice, she formed her upper arm into a lance; a spear at the end. Her feet were on a move with swift response and off she charged towards Zandra. Naturally no facial expression could be read from underneath her mask. |

| Zandra merely waited, green eyes locked on the lance as she charged. When she drew close, a smirk flashed on her lips and she suddenly fell flat on her back to the ground, successfully doging her spear-arm as well as grabbing it. She had one leg tangle around the other's, holding it tightly. This made the lance catch of balance when restricting her large arm from her leg to any larger distance an a foot. Her other leg kicked harshly into her metal-concealed back, mainly as an attempt to make her fall and expose her. |
