Kenichi is a young man of average height with medium length spiky brown hair in the back and some hanging in the front on the sides and brown eyes. He usually wears his long sleeved blue school uniform with the Yin Yang badge trade to him by childhood friend for a Cat badge when they were younger. When he first started practicing martial arts, Kenichi wore just a traditional dougi when training and fought in civilian clothing but after he joined the DWMA, he begins to start wearing a dougi (for Karate and Jujitsu), chainmail underneath (Weapons), Bandages on his hands (Muay Thai) and Kung Fu Pants (Kung Fu/Chinese Kempo) for when he trains or fights. He wears his wrests guards given to him by his master whenever he fights. When not in school or training, for casual wear, he's seen in jeans and a plain shirt that tends to either be plain or nice looking and with stripes.

In the beginning, due to his inexperience in fighting, he was a thin and somewhat scrawny and frail physique. After his continuous training with his masters, Kenichi's physique has become lean yet well-muscled and defined all-around body. His most notable feature of his appearance is the band aid that he constantly wears under his left eye which hasn't changed.

Personality: Kenichi is good-natured, timid, polite and often comes off as cowardly, but when a loved ones life is on the line he is willing to stand and fight. Kenichi will also risk his life to defend his beliefs. Even though he acts cowardly he tends to get really angry when someone calls him a coward and is prepared to fight to prove them wrong.

History: Kenichi was often bullied as a child so one day he decided he wanted to take karate to become stronger. Once he joined the other kids started to use him as a punching bag. He was tired of of it so he challenged the strongest member to a fight. He knew he was gonna lose so he seeked outside help and found a group of people called Ryozanpaku. Ryozanpaku had 6 masters of different fighting styles. Karate, Muay Thai, Chinese Kenpo, Jujutsu, a weapons expert, and the grand elder who used a style he created called Furinji Style.
They taught him some of their techniques and put him through hellish training which allowed him to beat the strongest member of the karate club. After a year of training he decided to Join the DWMA to help keep the world at peace.

Miscellaneous: Kenichi knows Muay Thai, Chinese Kenpo, Karate, and Jujitsu. He and he also knows how to use a sword and defend against a variety of weapons.

One of kenichi's special techniques is the "Seikūken". A defensive technique controlling the entire radius within one's arm length, creating a "shield" around oneself that can only be broken with sufficient force. his proficiency with Seikuken has grown to the point where he can create it almost instantly.

The other Is "Ryuusei Seikūken". A more advanced Seikūken reduced to a thin layer of skin to anticipate the flow of the opponent. The user must be absolutely calm to use it, as even a slight degree of emotion will disrupt it.

There are 3 levels in of Ryuusui Seikuuken. These levels could also be thought of as steps in a sequence to the next level:

First Level: Read the opponent's flow.

Second Level: Combining the opponent's movements with your own.

Third Level: Overpower the opponent by anticipating his moves and use his flow against him before he even thinks of it.
