The One Decision That Can Change Everything (Open)

OOC: A thread to sway Connor....thats about it. This thread will decide on the path Connor will take for now, as he can be rather easily influenced. So...its open, join and lead him down the right path! Or the wrong one...heh

The small, seemingly clean cut blades of emerald green grass, waving as the somewhat forceful wind passed through to the helpless fields. The defenseless grass then being trampled by a young man, with heavy boots, the path behind him glowing a clear sheen as if it was touched by the mystifying power of Jack Frost himself. In his left hand he wieled...or rather carried a red metallic shovel, with sharp almost bladed ends, its color in sharp contrast to his light blue winter clothing. Nevertheless here it was, a city in which he can start a new, and hope to find true, genuine happiness, as well as get stronger to further himself. Maybe they can go together

He walked a few steps forward, stopping once more to take in the sights of all that was before him. His ripped clothing, letting out a coldish air from his body, as he fought two muggers in his path, whose souls happened to be corrupt, consuming them with no second thought, and despite his shovel being used, it showed no signs of wear. He looked down, solemnly reminiscencing about his homeland, and how far he was.


OOC: TWO KISHIN EGG SOULS

Tia sat on the deck of her ship, looking down from the sky at the ground below, which she didn't happen to be too far from. She noticed a young man walking along not too far from where she was, which intrigued her well. She also took notice of the little trail of ice behind him, which made her chuckle. "Ooh yes, this one will do nice." She stood on the end of the deck and hung over the side, calling out with her hands cupped around her mouth. "Yooohoo! You there!" She called out, whistling once or twice to catch his attention. "Are you looking for a place, hm?" Tia asked quite loudly, highly interested in the young man.

Jun slid his way through the endless sea of green. He was on a remedial lesson to make up for the school days he had skipped, for fear someone might notice his companion. The mission was to find a Kishin Egg, but out here that seemed a daunting task. Finally, at the edge of his view, is a lonely figure that would cut down two fellows, and take their souls. "Well, there's our job taken care of." He laughed, but was cut short by another voice calling down to the figure from... A... sky-ship?

One would find Zélie stomping her way through a field of grass. The kind that looked soft, but really just itched. She hadn't had a thrill in days, and if one didn't find her, then she would just have to make one. Which brings us to the point. A few short moments away was a city. A hub for discord, and the perfect place for her. She hears a noise that sounds like yelling, but isn't entirely sure it was worth her attention. For the sake of chance, she turns to observe.

Yeah, I guess it is. Maybe he can help us thou- Kuro's thought was interupted by a call. Someone was calling from... Where? It was then Kuro noticed the ship in the sky. A flying boat? How does that work? He asked Jun rhetorically, not expecting him to really know.

Kotori had left Death City awhile back and had been flying around looking for something to do. Right now she was god knows where, flying above a city. Just outside the coty there was a flying boat! Pirates? Tht fly? That was amazing! She quickly steered the stick she rode toward it, hoping she could find someone to play pirate with her onboard.

On his first lesson for the academy, Saren walked through a field of grass, scouting for Kishin eggs. He hadn't found any so far, but had found two bodies of what looked like Kishin eggs. He followed where the path lead, and saw a man standing in his way. He yelled out. "W-who are you!? State your name, Kishin, or fall to the wrath of the DWMA!" He tried his best to look impressive, but he was helpless without his meister. He at least tried to look intimidating. He then looked up, noticing the flying ship and the women yelling out. "An escape plan, eh? You might as well give up now, or you'll find yourself in a heap of pain." Saren clenched his fist.

Who me? Kishin? Those are bad right? Then why is he talking to me? Nevertheless, he took the accusation as a potential threat and acted as such. He weilded his mighty shovel, and spun it overhand multiple times, not taking notice of its marvelous speed that it quickly gained. He jumped back and sliced evenly at the grass in front of him, the blades shooting up, and now drifting down lazily with the breeze. He made short time and freezed them in mid fall, and batting them with his shovel to the one who approached him(Seren), in an attempt to stun. But his efforts was cut drastically short...very short, as he raised his head up to a flying ship, that loomed ominously, yet triumphantly above him. He listened to the woman's words, pausing to think about her question. Why...was she offering me a place to stay? A place to reside? Well...I have nowhere to go... But why should he accept her hypothetical offer? He knows not of this stranger...and wasn't this the one thing his mother tried to shelter him from? He paused, his attention still fixated on the ship. "No." he stated bluntly. He felt there were otheres there...but oddly enough his attention on them had evaporated, reforming onto the mysterious wonder that was the airborne vessel.

Jun listened from a distance. Did he say DWMA. He thought to Kuro, and began to walk towards the pair, only to quicken his pace as one of the two launched a rather unforgiving looking attack. Seeing the attack stop mid agress did nothing to slow Jun down. It's a weapon from the academy, and I can sense a witch soul nearby as well. he offered, increasing his speed by yet more. Closing the distance Jun slid to a halt at the edge of the ice, and rested in a neutral stance with his hand open as if he would draw a gun. "W-what's going on here!?" Jun asserted himself.

Zélie let loose an unnaturally large smile. A group of students from the DWMA huh? The probably don't bite much, but I bet their teacher escort will. She thought hopefully that a large group came with a teacher. She sunk into the grass, and stood listening. Stalking was half the fun, and we wouldn't want to cut things short, or worse, walk into the wrong fight.

Now what if these guys don't want to play nice? I have your back and all, but can you handle a three way fight? Kuro asked, wondering if Jun really had a plan or not. He kinda liked this kid after all, and it would be a shame to lose a perfectly good host on the first job. Who knows though. Jun may prove worthy of his respect. There was always a chance.

Kotori landed on the back of the ship, jumping happily off the floating stick and carrying it by her side. She looked around the ship's deck, admiring the effort they had put into this game of pirates. "Hello? Anybody here?" She called naively, instantly warning anyone nearby of her presence on the ship. It would be fun to play with people so dedicated.

Saren saw the ice spikes being thrown at him, and swiftly dodged them, although was hit by one in the shoulder. "Why...you little..." He stopped himself and realized what he was doing. He wasn't sent to fight, in fact, he couldn't fight at all. He was strictly told to stay out of combat for the mission due to his inability to fight without a meister.  Noticing the the boy near him, Saren turned to look at him, staying hesitant of the beast. "Me and this Kishin were in a small argument. I don't suppose you would be working with him, would you?"

It had been a long night,but Ferroco finally awake.His cactus like body slowly merged out of the ground around him.Currently,he had no wear to stay,so,he was forced to sleep like a plant,literally.He cracked his back and let out a yawn,which turned into a yelp when a boy(Saren) appeared in-front of him(from his dodging of the ice)."Back the hell up!"Ferroco said in a cruel,threatening voice laced with his thick spanish accent.He then looked up in the sky and noticed the lady on the ship."Oi,mujer,can you spare me a fucking room on eso barco pirata?"He said,pointing to the ship with his nub arms.

After hearing Connor say no, Tia was all the more interested in basically forcing him onto her ship. But that would have to wait. After hearing a voice call out on her ship, she called back saying "Come over 'ere, kid!", attempting to draw Kotori over to her so she wouldn't have to really actually look. Then after that, some weird plant man decided that he was gonna start yelling at her in Spanish. "I would, but I only loan rooms to working men, Little Shop of Horrors!" She replied from her floating vessel. From up there, she had a better view of the situation than anyone else down there on the ground. She saw quite a few able-bodied people, and a glimmer of deviousness sparkled its way into her eyes. Maybe she could finally put this plan into motion. If she could just gather a few people.

I guess we'll see won't we. Jun responded to Kuro's first question with a short lived grin, and ignoring the second question "C-cease hostilities." He spoke, finding himself in an uncomfortably professional position. "He's not a Kishin, and even if he was, what are you thinking confronting one without a weapon partner." I'm no good at this sort of thing. Jun admitted, his next thought being interrupted by the green aberration springing itself from what seemed like nowhere. "Another one?" He spoke thoughtlessly. It was only a moment ago he thought this was a empty field.

Zelie's eyes darted around the area before her. 2, 4, 5. Delicious. She thought a chill running down her spine. If she could get in between those students, and that ugly plant, then she might not even be able to escape. Bumps of excitement littered her body. She was frightened, no, horrified, and it was perfect. For a moment she bathed in the glow of it all, taking a deep breath in in preparation for whatever comes next. Losing herself, she let her guard down for a brief second.

The geen guy was anything but human. Even Kuro could tell that, leaving only one question... What was he? Whatever he was, there was no time to find out. If it attacked, they had to be ready. They just keep comming... Kuro thought to himself, more and more people seemed to appear at every moment... This was madness...

Kotori smiled, happily jogging over to the lady with a bright smile. She promptly stopped, waiting for the lady to stop yelling overboard. When the woman finally stopped, Kotori had only one responce. "Tweet!~" This was the only word from her lips, accompanied by a joyful smile. She wore her usual purple dress and pointed hat, still grasping the stick in her hand.

Saren saw the odd looking man behind him, and yelled. "GAH! W-what the hell are you?! Are you all kishin!?" Saren slowly stood back in fear, realizing he mad a terrible mistake. He know that he definitely couldn't handle any of the people before him without a meister. He then noticed the yelling women in the flying ship, more afraid then ever. He thought to himself. I'm going to die, aren't I? All of these kishin are going to eat my soul... He backed away slowly again, turned around, and ran as fast as he could away from everyone. He only made it a few steps before he tripped. He fell flat on his face, and twitched his leg. I'm dead, aren't I?

"Kishin?NO YOU FUCKING IDIOT!!!" Ferroco replied in a cruel tone."I would, but I only loan rooms to working men, Little Shop of Horrors!" Ferroco twitched at the comment,but decided not to back lash,he was not able to really...neogatate here."I'll work for ya...."He replied to the woman,just wanting a place to stay."Tweet!~" Ferroco looked to the right,seeing a rather happy and young witch."Hmph.."He muttered.He then turned to the lady."If the job involves killing,I'm pretty good at that.All I need es un casa.A place to stay."

This was all admittedly a number to take in, and so much was happening around him in a span of seconds...or maybe he just zoned out, who knows he does that sometimes. He was perhaps lost in the grass, something he wasn't familiar with in his homeland, but he musn't loaf on that now, people were climbing onto this mysterious ship of sorts, and while he didn't know why it was there to begin with, admittedly his curiosity was peaked. So concentrating the power in his feet, he blasted off in a short burst of ice power and landed on the ship with clumsy grace next to the captain, looking at her with a shadowy expression hidden away by shadows of his hood that he refused to take off, in which behind it hides a curious and naive being. "I want to ride the ship too." He said finally, the word choice resembling that of a five year old.

Lily woke up in an alley. She strecthed her legs and began to walk through the plain. Lily was surprised when she saw a freiking crazy *** boat right in the middle off it. Quite a few people were talking outside of it. Lily couldn't even hear herself think and was getting angry. "Hey Hey Hey, who do you think you are?" she asked as she entered the center of the crowd.

Tia sighed as another person simply barged their way onto her ship, holding the bridge of her nose. Ignoring the kitten, seeing as she didn't even notice it, and walked off the side of her ship, sticking to it as she walked to the bottom, opening the hatch that was there and lowering the rope ladder that she had in there. "Alrighty then, anyone else that would like to board the ship, please, climb up the ladder. Do NOT jump to the top, thank you very much!" She yelled out to the crowd around her precious vessel.

Jun sighed bringing a hand to his face. "No one in the area is a Kishin. In fact I only sense humans, and witches. They're dangerous, but they have no reason to kill you." Looking calmly now to the ladder, Jun found the idea less than inviting. What do we do? That weapon just jumped aboard the ship... I was his job to look after pure souls, but this seemed a little dangerous. Is it worth it?

Zelie slithered her way towards the ladder. She moved like the snake she was born under, bones moving in a fashion far from the spectrum of natural. Appearing out of the grass, she grabbed the ladder, and began her ascent. Curiosity still had the better of her, and as always she displays a certain personality flaw. Reason is not her strong suite. She needed to know why a witch would invite DWMA onto her vessel.

Kuro wasn't sure this guy was worth it. You don't know him, right? If you wanna save him go for it. He replied, wondering what he was going to choose. The path of a friend, or the path of an uncaring acquaintance. He didn't even know the kid from the looks of it.

Saren stood up again, this time holding his hands up in a defensive position. "P-prepare yourself, c-cretin!" He was obviously afraid, as he didn't really have a way to defend himself. He heard the cry of the sky-pirate, and decided to run toward the ladder and climb it. I'm gonna be safe here, right? Hopefully none of them... He stopped thinking, and noticed the boy from before on the ship. He tried his best to slide away behind a nearby barrel, and watched to see if he could find an opening.

With a tired sigh,fingers quickly grew on the nubs on the end of each of Ferroco's arms.He walked slowly,taking his time,and climb up the ladder.Once aboard,he looked around.A scold formed on his face as he saw the boy from earlier trying to hide.Other than that,he deemed it to be a decent vessel and took his place leaning against a wall.

Vinnie stiletto watched the scene from his nice apartment, the kieshen egg fought against the urge to go to sleep in the day and left the building to climb up the latter. Hey you only get one chance right? He was wearing dark clothing consisting of a leather jacket and black jeans.

(Well Jac, 1. No, it's not currently dark outside. 2. I understand that the thread title says open, but it's actually private for the Crew of Tia. You have, obviously, not read the thread as if you had, you'd know that the thread takes place in a field far from the city, and no where near any apartment. 3. You haven't signed up for her Crew and I'm sorry, but the crew is large enough and has enough members, so even if you did, I'd have to decline you.)

ooc: Oh, I read the thread by the way. When conor was attacked by muggers I assumed he was in the city as bandits stopped wandering the countryside after the middle ages. When I posted that he hopped in the ship it wasn't for the job. ( He's about to become a mob boss. ) If you would prefer I leave then tell me but otherwise I'll edit my post that way it makes sense. Maby he wandered off in the middle of the night after the beast took over and now he has no idea where he is and needs rescue.
